The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. Great match! Caroline is back in full swing! Congrats for an excellentt performance and win. Her backhand is a killer. Watching Petra play is a most astehic pleasure. Her forehand swing is the best in all professional Tennis and she is such a beautiful women.

Mrs Wozniacki Dane of Polish origin is playing over 15 years tennis, but pronunciation of her name is still not correct. Commenters use English spelling but in Polish "ck" are spelled "ck". WOZNIACKI all should be spelled. I understand that it is trouble for English folks but we face also some problems with English names and try to use correct spelling.

How dull and ignorant these American commentators must be not to learn after so many years to pronounce Woźniacki's surname? She is Polish in origins and "c" in her surname should be spelled "tz" and not omitted.
It’s awkward that the English speaking commentators both on TV and on US Open radio say “Kehvitova” when pronouncing the Czech’s name. It isn’t that hard to learn the “kv” sound.

What was wrong with Petra? Not least losing this match, but she just looked so flat and even sad out on court.
She’d rather go back to the hotel and bang her husband/coach and get some shopping done the next day. There’s no denying that type of dynamic has had an impact on her success the past few years 2019+

Find it funny, that when Serena chooses to wear the body suit, the network only took waist up video of her on close ups. But the lady in the blue decides to wear a body suit and they show her full body the whole match on close ups. 🧐
