For the towers which cannot hit camo bloons, I know this may be scuffed, but use meerkat spies to allow them to hit camo. This will make the challenge a lot more interesting, and will make the results less predictable.
Here's a few odd-topic reasons BTD5 is the game that runs how it does currently: -transformation abilities like SMFC will begin affecting the topmost monkeys before it gets towards the bottom. Even if you modify the affect range to be limited, it will still count the topmost towers inside said range. -The Bomb's Speciality building ability sadly only affects up to 10 Bomb Shooters, not infinite, which 1) is misleading info, and 2) has the same result with SMFC. -Stronger Sabo Bombs is a Battles-only thing, which would just stun more bloons for longer. -Aircraft Carrier is a downgrade for the reason that it loses its main dart attack affected by the Speciality building. -The Big One blasts can pop 5 layers, not the "written" 3 (supposed to say in the other Impoppable solo vid but I may have forgot to) -The engineer super sentry spawn weapon not increasing deploy rate as 2-0 must have been due to an old version of BTD5 where enginners deployed super sentries at similar rate to the regular ones. I haven't played the old versions but I have a hunch that happened and the reason why 2-0 doesnt increase super sentry deploy speed -The comment of Chipper targeting camo was refering to the Battles Chipper (0-1 Long Range Suck grants camo) -The "40%" popping power is actually "Double Pierce Chance" as described in the game's code. The first shot of any tower on the field will always have double pierce, then it will go down to a RNG based chance on wether or not a tower's attack will pop twice as many bloons. That sadly only affects piercing towers, as aoe towers are being shafted by this..
I've heard that the long range for bomb towers isn't even a good ability either because it leads to them missing more often. I really appreciate you sharing all this information, it's always cool learning new stuff about a game you really enjoy
ay, thanks david! and, yeah, Sabotage Supply Lines, as well as most ability upgrades in BTD5, do absolutely nothing to the base tower, Battles added a bunch of stuff but it never got ported back to BTD5. the only x/4s that actually affect the base tower in anything beyond a visual way are - Tech Terror, upgrades from Robo as follows: -- 0/4: attack cooldown 0.04 -> 0.012 (effectively 0.05 buffable -> 0.017 unbuffable, due to each "tick" in game being 1/60th of a non-fastforwarded second, no optimization to smooth things out), pierce 3 -> 5, projectile speed _nerfed_ 720 -> 500, projectile cutoff distance _nerfed_ 400 > 210. oh, and uh, arm firing positions shifted 7 units outward. -- 1/4: Laser Blasts upgrades Robo (+1 pierce, 5 total) but not Tech Terror (5 pierce). -- 2/4: +1 pierce to both Robo (5) and TT (6), -0.028571428 attack cooldown, so 0.0114 for Robo and 0 for TT (effectively 0.017 unbuffable for both) -- tldr: 2/4 gets +1 pierce and slower, less-travelling projectiles compared to 2/3. 0/4 and 1/4 are identical, with identical strength to 2/3 but its projectiles are slow and travel less far, and are fired from further to the side. - Summon Phoenix: firing position shifted up 5 units. Wow! - MIB Call to Arms: +25 passive buff range. (...the CTA ability only has the range of a 0/0 Village) - Banana Investments Advisory: literally not even an ability upgrade, description says it all) - Artillery Battery: total cooldown 1.61 -> 0.52, slightly more than 3x attack speed. - Bloon Area Denial System: triple projectiles, projectile speed _nerfed_ 1225 -> 875, projectile cutoff _nerfed_ 1250 -> 1000 (both well more than full screen travel, difference is unobservable), explosion range _nerfed_ 60 -> 50, MaxTargets (AoE "pierce", never buffable) _nerfed_ 40 -> 23. note: ability rockets have 1000 speed, but are otherwise identical to the base BADS rockets. - First Strike: dart firing positions shift 4 units outward and 2 units up, missile firing position shifts 11 units down. riveting.
i played btd5 flash game long time ago and skiped the paid version as a kid but now after not having anything to do in btd6 because of this series i bought the btd5 and trying to remember all the things
I don't think snipers would have finished anyways, but if your problem was ceramics, you should have tried 3-1, it has lower dps, but it compensates with that insane laywer skipping.
I love how this guy is still making fresh BTD5 content several years after the release of BTD6. It's always nice to see more BTD5 content, this game was my childhood
So unfortunately, FastTrack doesn't work on Mastery Mode, but I'll definitely do a version where I use CheatEngine to test all the towers that failed because of a money issue
1:40 From my testing, it seems the Super Monkey Fanclub Ability converts the dart monkey that used it plus the last/newest 9 dart monkeys into Super Dart Monkeys and not the closest like in BTD6
7:08 A problem with your Ninja’s may be that you got 4-2 Bloonjitsu’s. A reason why I never get upgrades like Distraction, Wizard Tornado, Corrosive Glue, and upgrades like that is because they end up causing MASSIVE Regrow Farms from being pushed back on the track, or by being slowly chipped away at. 4-1 Bloonjistu’s may make a difference, but I’m not so sure, you may need a few Flash Bombs or Sabo’s just to be safe.
I was able to beat round 47 and 48 with mortars at only intermediate lab upgrades, and got all the round 49 moabs down to just bloons, but lost. I'm sure it's possible to get at least slightly further with max lab. I used mostly 0-0 and 0-1 mortars. The attack speed offset can help stun bloons, especially if you buy an upgrade or tower mid-round.
I'm pretty certain they can't really do much based on my previous testing on regular Impoppable. The bomb fires much more slowly than the fire ball from the destroyer
Perhaps the towers that cannot be afforded on round 1 can have the help of a dart monkey or two until they can be afforded, just to see how they can do in the later rounds
There definitely is a chance it could work and I should've tried that, I honestly didn't even realize I could've afforded it until I was voicing over the footage
Dang mastery is hard as chimps mode. I actually go crazy with normal troops on it if one troop I will farm faster to be fair and boost them. If we had in BTD5 DDT this will heart but don’t worry they are just fast and camo ( I think) in mobile and steam like in Bloons monkey city. I did do a few videos and.

from what i recall, it's actually the uppermost dart monkeys, not the newest ones
Seeing Submarine Stacking reminded me of the time I tried to do Solo Tower runs.
