I got to round 156 with Bomb, Ace, Alch, and Village. My final set up was Bloon Crush in the back to catch BAD insides, with a Flying Fortress for damage, and both of them Perma Brewed and under a Homeland Defense, which I did try to sell and rebuy for faster cooldowns, but my micro isn't the best admittedly, and with the random nature of rounds past 140 someone else could probably get a higher round with the same set up
I beat round 161 using ice, heli, super, village. Granted the early game sucked quite a bit, but that was probably because I over done it with the heli farming and ended up with a completely maxed setup (520 ice, 502 heli (which later got turned into a 205 as it seemed better but idk), 205 super and 250 village) at round 97. Maybe I could've farmed enough with the heli to get a supermines instead of the village, but that would've probably be very annoying to get and I have no clue if I even could get further with it.

The Heli And Super Needs Some Micro As Well As The Bomb To Survive All Those Grueling Rounds Of Saving Up For Lotn And S.Mines
I would have gone a completely different way with Druid for regular bloons, Engineer for start and late game buffs, Boomerang for a bit of everything, and Dartling gunner for MOABs to BADs
would love to see more vanilla challenges like this. Maybe make rules a little looser like 10-15 total towers so you can balance how all in you go on something.

@@michaeliop the overclock on a dark champ gives bassically a homeland buff (except for 2x pierce) so you can get lotn and don's under estimate a sentry champion with ultraboost as it increases its placement and attack speed of sentrys

you guys should do part 2 and 3 maybe even 4 and 5 of this and not use the tower you have already used until at last you have towers which you guys think garbage and then who has won most of the matches ( so that way it then it comes down strategy of what towers you wanna save in the end)
I would go for ice monkey, sniper, super and spike factory: Early game place the spike factory in the back, and try to get mid path sniper tier 4, then I would upgrade the spike factory to bottom path tier for, to catch anything that leaks from the sniper, then sniper tier 5, get super monkey bottom path to tier 3 or 4 and ice monkey bottom path tier 5 for DDTs. Now get perma spikes and try to save up for legend of the night. I think that would have gotten further than your strats.

Druid start, get a Glue Gunner after a few rounds, then a Sub, and go for Submerge and Support ASAP to get the camo. By the end of the game, my Druid had 1.2 million pops. I didn't place my towers in the best spots, so I wound up needing to get Twin Guns and Airburst Darts on the Sub early, which made some of the key upgrades take longer to get, but once I got Spirit of the Forest, nothing got past halfway through the map. Forest+Carpet is just insane damage to late rounds, and with Submerge and Support removing all camo, I was big chilling.

super monkey for the bottom path right? tack shooter is good for swarms if you upgrade it to 5-0-2 but you need to place it in a really good spot. (you don't have village so it will be a lot weaker and it was better for a 2-0-5 monkey boomerang for Moab damage). Dartling gunner is good for moab damage and for swarms but you need a specific map for it and this is why it isn't that good if the map has to be good for the tack shooter too. Super Monkey is good for extreme damages in everything but the most for his black hole passive ability which is clutch at the end of the road. banana farm for the Super Monkey. My strategy would be... Village, Tack Shooter, Alchemist (0-2-5 for late game) and Ace pilot.
Interesting challenge! I decided to give it two attempts. First one used the super brittle ice for support late game, elite sniper for early camo and $ generation which was later sold for cripple MOAB, legend of the night as main damage dealer and xxxl trap for early game and $, later sold for ultraboost. This made it to 168. I later switched to M.A.D for secondary dmg dealer as well as covering early camo, icicle impale for stalling B.A.D insides while keeping the lotn + xxxl into ultraboost. Had I stopped 1 retry after 80, the score would be 179 but I pushed through and reached r183. I hope to see someone push it further some day

LOTN was my main DPS,Bloon crush to annillate anything under a BAD and also catch the BAD insides, homeland defense for buffs ofc and pre-emptive strike for the pre-emptive damage+ability
I would personally pick: Dart monkey,Dartling gunner,Druid and banana farm

i would go for boomerang middle path, buccaneer top path, druid top path (that thing is underrated fr), and village middle path.
