Congratulations on the grandson! Nothing like seeing another generation appear on the scene. I'm glad that you could be there for it. All the best, Peter.
I wish I had your patience when working on a project. What I learned this week, using a metal applicator as a shield when hammering or sanding. Brilliant! Cheers!!
Great job Peter perfect as always you are certainly a Master of wood manipulation. The re work on the Sole and Steps is outstanding and excellent I am sure Lady Z is suitably impressed especially the way you filled in the sides of steps with brilliantly executed inserts. You will need to start training now for the Grandchild as you know it don,t take long before they will start to run ya all over the place. Better get some sleep pop a few Vitimans etc. Great work keep at it. ;0]
You need patience whether you are doing something or whether you are just having to wait for stuff to happen! It is essential! Those really nice stairs would not have been so nice had you not had enough patience to do things thoroughly! Great work! And congratulations to being a Granddad!
I just love your videos this year. They’re better than ever. Peter have you considered doing some shameless self promotion for your UA-cam channel at the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival? Maybe a sign on your boat? You had none last year but I think folks would be very happy to learn how to watch!
Grandkids are when it all pays off from the pain that is the kids, lol. When they get whiny mommy is a phone call away. I fill them full of sugar first ;)
First things first ... congratulations on the upcoming transition to being a grandfather! I've got four grandkids ... just went to the oldest's wedding and also spent some time on my boat with the youngest. My patience continues to allow me to work through all your videos from # 1 to #297 and counting. I did become a bit impatient and concurrently look at your new videos as of #400. Only a a few over 100 to catch up. Cabinet scraper ... I'm putting a couple in the mail for you this week. Just not sure how long it takes to travel by post from SF to Victoria.
Peter always so attended to every project lady Z has its time to find patients and get back to work on MV Gordie she's begging for that new roof😊 😊 19:52
those little clips, for cable cleating I 3d printed a solid plastic former and die which I used in a small hand press to form some clips just like that for the solar panel cables. on my mast wiring I cheated and used square brass tube for the conduit which made making the clips a lot easier. i formed the clips out of 0.8mm brass sheet.
Congratulations on soon to be joining the "Grampa's Club" Peter. Very fery nice club to be in. Congrats to the parents too. The lil' sprog will test their patience for many many years to come! Cheers mate! Rick
Congratulations Peter (Grandpa)! I have been enjoying your videos for years! I hope to some day work on my own small trawler and possibly do the Great Loop! I’m sure I’ll be looking back over your videos for inspiration and to help out with doing projects on the boat. I really appreciate all the videos, especially the one’s where you reconfigure and replace the interior. Keep up the great work and enjoy your new grandson!
Patience is key in most situations that life throws our way. Hopefully that includes being able to hold on to the shed for a while longer to complete Geordie’s work!
there is a major landslide up a river that feeds the frazier river.. its going to eventually fill and release a major flood and add to the water coming down the frazier river.. what will happen when it reaches the coast and thru all the marinas and into the puget sound..
I will continue to have "patience" in my attempts to win my T shirt. Hope all goes well with first grandchild and momma. It is a tremendously joyful event that I experienced two years ago, real life changer. Now I must show more "Patience" as I await my next two grandchildren in the next few months.
Hi Peter, congratulations on the arrival of your first grandchild. Hopefully momma is doing well also. I've been trying to contact you via email to get my t-shirt from a few weeks ago but have not heard nary a word from you, perhaps your spam filter is on overtime. However, patience is key here and I haven't given up quite yet so I'm trying a different tact. Hope to hear from you soon! Cheers!
Bob Ruff here too, the accidental t-shirt winner, I think I’m in the same boat, my email seems to have disappeared into the ether, however I also know you have of things going on and life events , so no worries on my end I know this is probably number 1007 on the list of things you have to worry about these days.
Congratulations on the grandson! Nothing like seeing another generation appear on the scene. I'm glad that you could be there for it. All the best, Peter.
Thanks so much Christopher. Little Leif is sure to make a great sailor one day.
