Just came home from dealership where initially I was going to look at a 23 RG. Took that out for a test and really liked it. Saw the 24's and decided to test ride that as well. My man, what you said about the ride difference is spot on. It was a much better ride on the 24. Came home with a 24 with Stage 2 and Dyno Tuned from the dealership.
I do agree the embedded nav is beautiful on the screen. I am anxious to do some more testing with it after this last update as before the update it was a bit of a challenge at times.
I bought one of those wireless Bluetooth connectors for my 21 road glide limited for android auto. I could connect without it but I would constantly lose my connection. With that little 59 dollar part I never lose my android auto any more. Only problem is it connects where I usually put my phone. So I put my phone on the other side with a 12 v adapter for my phone. Problem solved! Thanks buddy. I think I saw it on one of your previous videos 😮😮
So I have a 23 roadglide limited with the same issue do u have a link for the Bluetooth park or witch one did u get cus yeah I am tired of fighting with it haha
After buying the 23 CVO, i saw all these issues day one on mine. I traded it at a big loss, but the aggravation made it worth it. My dealer still has 4 of them, unheard of for CVOs. This system is too clunky and takes the fun out of the ride. This program needs more development. As always, you are at the cutting edge of getting this to work.
I am also seeing many DP '23's on the floor and one local dealer has Whiskey Neats. But the '24's seem to be selling and the stock is up but the dealers also have many of these on the floor. Did HD go to far with the technology and are they scaring away the core customer. Time will tell, I suspect we will really know here in a couple of months. I am still a fan of the ride overall. I think CarPlay is finally working better but a simple BlueTooth connection works the best.
@ITFZone no doubt the CVO 121 is sweet. I just got aggravated at being a tester. By next year it will be perfect. I like the tech, but for 50k I just thought it should work right. Over a minute to boot is just silly to me. I'm 63, I doubt I'll be getting another. I enjoy your content, it's excellent, thank you for posting.
Once again many thanks for a well researched video. I purchased all the Amazon units from your links hopefully to get my 2024 CVO to work with Android.
Thank you for the heplful and informative videos on 2023 and 2024 Roadglides. I have learned many things about my 2024 Roadglide through your videos. I too tried a splitter but it didnt work so I used your link to purchase the BCLink Splitter. I cant wait to connect it. Thanks Tom for making these videos.
Thanks for these updates. Still waiting on the bike but am thinking to try and get everything together so that when I pick it up it all works. I have a 2600km ride to get it home to Portugal from Germany - looking forward to that ride but NEED navigation and Android Auto has been my go-to. Will bring my quad-lock to just use my phone if I need to - that has worked for the last gazillion years! Question about the Camecho A3361. In the description (para 4) it states: Please note that this carplay dongle does not work with Android phones. Clearly you show it working with your phone but curious of this comment. I did follow your link to get there. Thanks Mike
Not 100% sure what you are looking at but this device requires support of wired CarPlay and then you pair your Android phone to the box. This is my guess.. For sure it gives you AA on a SkyLine OS screen. What a first ride! Congrats on the new bike!

@@66icetek Yes I see that but it does. I think they were trying to call out that it will not work with a head unit that supports wired android auto. It will only mirror through a wired CarPlay connection..
So I had this error pop up on my new CVO today... It says " Android auto or carplay was interrupted and will restart shortly" I am not using a magic box just blue tooth connectivity for music. I have photos.
Hi. Congratulations already for your videos. It's really very well done and explained. I have a RoadGlide CVO ST 2024 and I purchased the A3361 box (because unfortunately the A3403 is not available...). In fact it just disconnects and I have a lot of trouble getting the bike to recognize it even after switching off the ignition. Were you able to find where this problem could be coming from? Thank you very much for your time. Sorry for my English, I'm French 😉
Bonjour! If the box is disconnecting I suspect the headset connection first. What are you using for a headset? May be easier to troubleshoot via email: ITFZoneEmail@gmail.com
I just got this setup and it looks to be working after the initial connect on my 2024 Roadglide. The downside, Amazon is now showing the A3361 as unavailable also.
Hey Tom. Another great video. I think I'm gonna wait and Pray for an update like we did many years ago for the gts radio. That still works perfectly. Your videos are the best. Keep em coming. Stuart
@@ITFZone absolutely. Today it so long for the music to start playing, I had to pull out the main fuse, count to ten. Reinstalled the fuse and then the radio played through the speakers. Sad.
I appreciate your advice and videos very helpful. With that said everything you have listed shows unavailable. Do you know if any that are available that work? Also do you have to get headset killer as well for any of these options?
Hello, see my latest video where I feature this which at the moment is still available: amzn.to/3W2iKSL Yes you will need a headset, the AI box will show up as a headset but after the SkyLineOS update the built in headset paring does not stay connected so I am using a Maedhawk adapter. amzn.to/4btEawH Another headset option without the 3.5 mm cord that I am also using: amzn.to/3VOYFhm
I messaged you before about having trouble with connecting. I picked up one with Android 10 and got it to work. My question is I installed a splitter and tried to connect to my android phone to charge my phone. It disconnects everything. Am I doing something wrong or is that just how it works. Is there another way to charge my phone on a 2024 Street Glide. Thanks for all the help and your great videos.
Continues to confirm for me at anything newer than OS v10 will not work with these bikes. Which one did you obtain? The splitter is not going to work with an AI box. Only AI boxes with a passthrough port will charge a phone. SO I have a video coming shortly on this topic but in short you need another power source for the phone.
Great content, I purchased the Camecho A3361, the system settings on the device is password protected. Do you know the default PIN? The text is too small for me to read👓
I have used my android autoplay on my new 2024 Ultra limited by plugging it in and boom it appears on the screen. Even with my wallpaper on my phone screen.
Correct the Boom System still supports Android Auto. Which explains why other manufactures with original systems still support it. Harley maintains Google has said no to motorcycles with the next generation of infotainment systems or is it some other issue?
I plug mine in in my 2024 RG and it didn't work. I don't care for wireless Android auto I just want the Android auto to work. Did you have to do something else to make the Android auto work? Thanks in advance
@@racer2282670 No. I just make sure it's plugged in prior to even turning on the ignition, and it automatically connects as Autoplay. Also make sure your phone is paired to the radio.
Hi. Great video and detailed explanation. Congrats, please keep it up. One question: since i'm about to go get my new 2024 RG CVO ST, do you have any idea if an adapter with Android 11 (or superior) will work for Android Auto?
I think what you will find is that it will not display correctly with OS 11 or newer. The instrument gauges lay over the top of the Android display. Changing the screen size or layout has no effect.
@@antmrod1972 Yep they are dwindling as we sell them out. I have not tested these but they should work, (My Affiliate links) amzn.to/4a0zmxQ or amzn.to/4bb798C I have been able to contact a couple manufactures that are showing interest in coming up with a new solution. Will see!
I would say its one of the few devices that work especially after the last SkyLine OS update. Key is to find one based on the Android OS V10 . NONE of them are perfect but do work for many.
I've tried the Camecho A3361 on my 24 CVO Road Glide ST and it doesn't work. I also haven’t seen any 24 owners with success stories using a Camecho box. Thanks again for your research.
Hello, Unfortunately these boxes will not work as they convert Wired Android Auto to wireless and since the system doesn't support AA at all this box will not connect. Only boxes that support Wired CarPlay would work, and built in android v10 for the screen size.
@@ITFZone Thanks for your response. Have you found any other wireless units that will allow AA to work other than the Camecho units that aren't available. To confirm any wireless unit for AA or CarPlay will require a headset to be present or the MAEDHawk and BCLINK devices. Really appreciate the effort you put into your videos.
Thank you for the information. I have one question, I have two headsets, headset killer and SENA headset connected together by Bluetooth and when I listen to music, I want to listen to music with SENA instead of bike speakers, how do I set it up?
Under sound and routing you can change what goes where but you can only have 1 headset paired as rider. You could try your Sena as passenger just for music.
Hi Tom. Following my previous comment here, I did exactly as you described on your video and all went well, it really does work with Android Auto. However... ever single time I turn off the bike, and obviously turning it back on, the pair between the magic box and my phone simple doesn't happen. The Infotainment screen shows the system searching for my already paired phone and stays that way. For it to work, I have to pair the phone and the box allover again and it connects and repeat theses procedures every single time I go for a ride. Any ideas or suggestions on how to solve this annoying situation? Thx, ride safe 😎🤜🤛
I assume you have deleted the pairing on both ends? Also remove the pairing to the bike. Otherwise let’s connect in email, send me a photo of your device manager screen. ITFZoneEmail@gmail.com
@@ITFZone i have the same exact problems and the onince boxes are garbage and sensitive to movement. not exactly the best pairing with a motorcycle. I even went as far as using velcro to hold it in place to keep it from moving. 5 mins into a road trip and i was ripping it out of the hole because it was screwing up. happened with multiple units not just one.
Hi. Is there an ideal sequential order to pair the devices? I mean, i already bought the magic box and have the phone, so i thought i'd pair those 2 together and when i go get the bike next week, all it's missing is pair the magic box with the infotainment system. Would that be doable?
@@ITFZone I managed to buy from AliExpress the exact same box and usb bt cable you showed on the video. I'm just "missing" the bike 😅 so I thought about getting things started to speed up the procedures for the day I'll go get it from the dealer. Hence my question.
Confirmed, yes this works but its a lot of connections and your phone will not charge fast. I have a video coming soon that would work better for this scenario.
I just watched a video of a guy that just plugged in the headset cable to fool the system there is a headset and was able to run AA alone. Have you tried this yet?
So you cannot use AA but you can bluetooth connect an Android phone and use the embedded options in the infotainment system. For phone and music this works great but navigation is another story.
@@ITFZone Yes i do i really like my AA and google i did find out last night pushing the phone talk button on the right side will make my AA start after if fails to start or hiting the menu button.
@@BtheRiderPA Yes I have seen this work as well. Glad its still worth the effort for you. I think overall this solution works. Are you a '23 CVO or '24 owner?
Thanks for the 411 Tom. I have a 24 Road Glide and you are correct the update messed things up. I made a deal with my local Harley dealer that you enable navigation and you get the sale!! So i do have the nav enabled but i love my AA. Can you send me the links id need to get AA. plus be able to charge my phone? I do not have a wireless head set and dont plan on getting one, so im sure ill need the Maedhawk. Once again thanks for the hard work, im sure i speak for others too when i say id have no idea on how to get AA if it wasnt for your vidoes. Once again, thank you.
Hello! You will be looking for these links: Camecho AI Box: amzn.to/4cE0R36 MAEDHawk Bluetooth Headset: amzn.to/3TXR0xy Then you will need a USB A to USB C cable, your phone likely came with one but if not you need a quality one that supports data. This one should work: amzn.to/3PNEeiH (2 pack) This cable is offered in different lengths.
Hello Tom, i purchased the Camecho A3361 and the Maedhawk and it was a little finicky at first but it finally started working. Well sort, when everything starts to boot up i get the Maedhawk to connect, then the Camecho (as BT-B324) but then a third one pops up as AL Box. If this pops up is boots the BT-B324 out and no matter what it will not connect to it. If i click on the AL Box the only option it gives me is to connect apple carplay. When i try and reconnect the BT it boots the Maedhawk out and then no wireless headphone. Its a circle jerk after that. I shut the bike down and try it again but the same stuff happens. Any ideas? Im trying to upload a video but my phone wont let my upload a 1 min video, trying to figure this out as well.
@@craigross1737 Hello, The " BT-B324 " is the built in headset of the Camecho device. However after the last SkyLine OS update this will not stay connected as a headset so you have to use your own headset, ie the MAEDHawk. You want to decline the pairing of the BT-B324 and disconnect it from the device manager and it will work from there.
Hello again Tom, i dont mean to keep bother you with this AA thing. So i tried to decline the pairing and delete the BT-B324, but to no avail. Whats happening now is as follows. I deleted everything in the device manager on the bike. I then paired the Maedhawk and then disconnected (unpaired) it. Then i reconnected the Camecho with the Maedhawk plugged into it. My bike finds and pairs the Maedhawk right away and then it wants me to pair the BT-B.... , i decline the pairing and most of the time it pops back up for pairing before the AL Box asks to connect to Apple Carplay. I again decline the pairing and once the AL Box asks to connect i get the spinning circle as its trying to open it, while its doing that i go into my Android Auto app and start that process, but before i can pair the AA app the AL Box boots itself off and the BT once again asks to pair. And its just a repeat of this process. It never does open AA. If by chance it does its always off to one side of the screen or part way behind the gauges. Im about ready to pull out the little bit of hair i have left out of my head... lol. Any suggestions, ideas?? Thank you.
If you pair it as a headset it will not stay connected. You cannot use this box also as a headset only the AI connection. Decline it for a headset connection.
Question, I have made the mistake of pressing the phone button or press to talk button. When I do, my music stops coming out of my ear buds. But my Google Maps and my music app are still running and functioning. I have not found a way of getting my ear buds to work again, unless I shut the bike off and restart. Am I missing an easy way to get the music back on my ear buds? Another question, I have noticed I need to wait until my Google Maps and music are up and functioning before I put the bike in gear and ride off. Otherwise car play and android auto will not finish starting up, is that typical or is there another setting I am missing? Thank you.
Hello, The PTT button is likely taking over the sound from the box. I would try going to the menu - Sound - Audio Routing and change music to speakers and then back and see if it reconnects? Still a pain but would be less effort than power cycling the bike. If this works I might suggest you unpair your phone from the bike and ONLY pair it to the AI box and see if that resolves the bike taking over the sound. I have not found any need to wait for the system to boot before taking off on the bike. I have found it can take a very long time before I will hear anything from the bike. Again I am wondering if you have your phone also paired to the bike and disconnecting this may also help here. Happy to troubleshoot further, email is easier: ITFZoneEmail@gmail.com
I'm using my helmet headset....I also used the USB/stem and it will connect but won't last long enough to actually enjoy it. Harley sucks for this one!
@@lanegrow6001 Agree HD has missed the boat on AA. Really not sure what you are running into. Would be happy to look at it further with you, ITFZoneEmail@gmail.com
@@FarmerTheOG That is completely not true, the story that Google doesn't support motorcycles is what they want you to believe. The truth is that Google has never supported motorcycles or any other vehicles, Google is completely open source. AA is available on the New Honda's.
With my 2022 Road Glide I can get from the application to the menus by holding the joystick for a second or two (holding up or down for a couple of seconds leads to the select box jumping to the other area). Does that not work at all with the skyline bikes?
Good afternoon. Hope all is well in your world. Working with a 3361 box. Have the Maedhawk "headset killer" connected to your Gerling/USB suggestion under the seat. (Great ideas btw) Everything boots up as in your video. I get the Android screen, I connect the phone as suggested everything looks great... Until I shut the bike off and turn it back on. Instead of BT-XXXX the 3361 is listed as "AI Box" The system attempts to connect to it but cannot. I either get "connection failed" or it attempts to connect it as a headset, which seems odd. At some point even the "AI Box" listing disappears and there's nothing to connect to. I was really bummed that HD doesn't have Android Auto, need the real time traffic here in NYC. I don't want to pay HD for their GPS system but I'm starting to feel like I might not have a choice.....
You are looking for the AI box and you cannot use the BT connection. I would want to see what shows as paired in your device manager. Send me a photo in email. ITFZoneEmail@gmail.com
@@ITFZone Working as designed now. I'm guessing I was being impatient and not allowing everything to boot up. Fingers crossed, it's all working now. Thanks for your help with this. Wanted to give it another try before I bothered you with an email. Only issue now is charging the phone. Does not appear to charge using the USB A passthrough on the 3361, I have the BCLink Splitter but I'm afraid to unplug the box and putting it in to try charging via that USB A. Any ideas? Really finding all your videos helpful, next project is the vent modification!
@ITFZone disregard my last. LOL Phone wasn't charging because it was fully charged. Doh! This whole thing had me feeling like an idiot. Thanks again for your assistance. Multiple rides today, AA booting up each time. Just pulled the vent cover off and plugging in the Dremel 😃

After doing this, when I go back to just wanting the fm radio, then I get no sound from my speakers. Everything is disconnected and the setting are on speakers, still no sound from my speakers. So it killed my fairing speakers. Anyone else have this issue?
@ITFZone also, the tuner comes up on the screen but no sound. The volume control bar goes up and down when trying to adjust the sound. The same happens when I bluetooth my phone to music. It shows the music playing, but still no sound. This is the second time I lost sound when following your video. The bike was in the shop for a garage door opener installed and came back with the sound working again. So, I'm not sure what the shop did to correct the issue.
So yes you can, but if you stream from your phone via Bluetooth it will not be great. You would be better to use the embedded interface of the device and a true WIFI connection. I hope you intend to do this in the garage vs on the road!
Hello, Yes the boxes with Android OS V10 are quickly disappearing. I am testing a couple that are still out there, one is coming in today. I plan to post an updated video on this topic this weekend.
@@josephethanprice9948 Few have ended up doing so. Its a lot of pain for Google Maps! I will say even though I have an iPhone I am really just using the Bluetooth pairing for music / phone. The built in navigation is enough for the few times a year I don't know where I am going, but that's just me!
I would look on E-Bay but it is no longer an option on Amazon. I have pointed a few to this option but not one I have tested but looks to the correct specs, my affiliate link: amzn.to/457W1Yn
Ok so I tried the other box you recommended. Bike needs to be in tour mode to see the android auto. I turn on the bike and let the cardo connect. Then I connect the box takes a minute or so for the it to start. Then I connect my phone to the box directly.
if hd says google discontinued AA they are lying. google discontinued the "mirror" function which is a cheap and dirty way to get AA on the phone screen. that may be how hd would get it on the infotainment screen. hd is typically 5-10 years behind the curve. has been for 120 yrs
Yes I would agree it is likely the mirror function and why the AI boxes above OS 10 do not work. From the Visteon documents about the screen it shows embedded AA but yes could be the same mirroring issue. Seems to me this could be corrected. I will also say some of Harley being vintage is what draws some to the brand. Good call out thanks for the comment!
Oh my! Sorry to hear this. HD is helping sell iPhones. Consider an older iPhone that uses a SIM Card and then just move your card between your Android and iPhone for just when riding?
@@ITFZone I got the 15 pro max, but I don't have any apps I had before, and it's a process to download and install. It's way more than I planned on doing to have Google Maps on my screen. I am going back to my Ultra.
Hey I hear you, the technology is not appealing to all. I think in part this is why the limiteds were not updated this year giving some options for tried and true.
Well at least for now. We will soon see some alternative AMP options and if there is enough support for a different screen we might see one. I think the aftermarket will still be there for those looking for something different.
I'm sorry this would be a deal breaker for me. There's 3 billion Android phones out there. And Harley has a bike that wont pair with them without jumping thru hoops? Instead of making things easier? New and improved? No thank you. But thank YOU for making this video to try to sort things out. Too much work for me. I'd bet a dollar this is Apple fault. Ploy to get people to buy the new Apple phones. Why would Google stop it?
Unfortunately even at this point its not clear who is to blame here. HD continues to say Google and Google has NO response. It does appear that any motorcycle manufacture that upgrades their infotainment system is not offering Android anymore. However if they are still offering their original system AA is still there, ie Goldwing or ever a 2024 Harley Limited. I fully agree this is wrong but it would be awesome if Google would make a statement.
gotta say the onince are GARBAGE. works until you have to move the unit and the wire gets moved. it constantly disconnects and reconnects. Do not waste your money. they sent me a new one 20 mins after i opened the box and the second one has the same issues as the previous one that I returned.
Sorry to hear this, for sure I have not had any issues with it dropping. I just tried wiggling the box and it stays connected. I am using the cable it came with. I would be curious with your phone connected to the bikes USB if it stays charging? Anyhow do appreciate the feedback and will see what others report with it.
@@ITFZone i havent even plugged my phone into it. I just used the cables that came with it to connect and for the headset. The products are just poorly made. I got 2 in a row that way so that isn't just bad luck. The failure point is the type c connection on the box.
Understood, I was thinking more if you directly connect your phone to your bike without the box does your phone continue to charge, using the same USB C cable you used with the box, so is it possibly the bike's port that is the issue as I have seen this. Otherwise not sure I am not having any USB connectivity issues with any of these boxes. If I shake the box it stays connected. Anyhow not sure but again appreciate your sharing your experience and will track if others report this issue.

Yep another Camecho is out of stock. I am still trying other models out.
Hey Tom. Another great video. I think I'm gonna wait and Pray for an update like we did many years ago for the gts radio. That still works perfectly. Your videos are the best. Keep em coming. Stuart
Yes there is hope for the system. The screen is really great but needs some more software improvement's!
@@ITFZone absolutely. Today it so long for the music to start playing, I had to pull out the main fuse, count to ten. Reinstalled the fuse and then the radio played through the speakers. Sad.
@@stuartberke5845 Wow after the update? Agree sad!
I appreciate your advice and videos very helpful. With that said everything you have listed shows unavailable. Do you know if any that are available that work? Also do you have to get headset killer as well for any of these options?
Hello, see my latest video where I feature this which at the moment is still available:
amzn.to/3W2iKSL
Yes you will need a headset, the AI box will show up as a headset but after the SkyLineOS update the built in headset paring does not stay connected so I am using a Maedhawk adapter. amzn.to/4btEawH Another headset option without the 3.5 mm cord that I am also using: amzn.to/3VOYFhm
@@ITFZone I have OS v 10. Thanks. I will look into a different power source. I have A3403 Linkbox.
Great content, I purchased the Camecho A3361, the system settings on the device is password protected. Do you know the default PIN? The text is too small for me to read👓
Should be 0789
I have used my android autoplay on my new 2024 Ultra limited by plugging it in and boom it appears on the screen.
@@ITFZone it's getting kinda hard nowadays to find an Android 10 adapter... Any help on this matter?

Hi. Any update on this matter?
hi Tom, tell me you think Camecho 3403 works stably, or you think it is the best device for Android car on Harley Davidson
Now that we have the same SkyLine OS it should work. But I will confirm on an actual '24 here soon.
@@ITFZonemine works. I use Powerbeats Pro earbuds with the A3361 and my S21+ phone. All after the upgrades to the SkylineOS. 2024 Streetglide
Great video! By any chance have you tried the Motorola MA1 Wireless Android adapter to see if it works on your Road Glide?
Hi Tom,
Great info as ever although..wow.....i need some headache tablets
LOL! I was in the zone on this one!
Considering all that I've already done to get it to work, I'm sending you an email right away 😉😅
If you are going to use an AI box you do not want to pair your phone to the bike. Just the box. Headset will have to be present.
@@ITFZone I managed to buy from AliExpress the exact same box and usb bt cable you showed on the video. I'm just "missing" the bike 😅 so I thought about getting things started to speed up the procedures for the day I'll go get it from the dealer. Hence my question.
Can you use the splitter to power up the MaedHawk and the Camecho at the same time while charging the phone via the USB A of the Camecho?
Confirmed, yes this works but its a lot of connections and your phone will not charge fast. I have a video coming soon that would work better for this scenario.
I wonder if they'll come out with a software update so we can have android auto back without a work around.
I have hope, see my latest video, Android Auto is in he system.
Any updated devices that work? All listed are unavailable. Thanks
In my latest video I showed this one, however Amazon is showing just 1 left in stock currently: amzn.to/3W2iKSL
@@ITFZone thanks! I purchased it and it works!

ua-cam.com/video/dqc8FYv_LeI/v-deo.htmlsi=Dzoen-ZzOLaT_1F2
So you cannot use AA but you can bluetooth connect an Android phone and use the embedded options in the infotainment system. For phone and music this works great but navigation is another story.
Not sure I am following he is referencing my video and the same headset adapter, MaedHawk: amzn.to/3xdRt5M
i put the Second choice box on but it has been glitchy.
None of them are perfect but if I have them boot to AA they mostly work. But you have to really want AA!

Thanks for the 411 Tom. I have a 24 Road Glide and you are correct the update messed things up. I made a deal with my local Harley dealer that you enable navigation and you get the sale!! Hello! You will be looking for these links:
Camecho AI Box: amzn.to/4cE0R36
MAEDHawk Bluetooth Headset: amzn.to/3TXR0xy
Then you will need a USB A to USB C cable, your phone likely came with one but if not you need a quality one that supports data. This one should work: amzn.to/3PNEeiH (2 pack)
This cable is offered in different lengths.
Ok, i will give it a try. Thank you.
Thank you.
I'm finding that the Onince AI box will not stay connected to my bike. It's constantly dropping the Bluetooth connection. Any advice?
Thank you.
Hello,
The PTT button is likely taking over the sound from the box.
If you use apple iPods custode connected with normal cable you have the same result 🙂
I will have to try this again, before the SkyLine OS update this did not work but I have not tried since the update but will.
Mine will try but keeps cutting off... won't stay long enough to select music.... what next?
Make sure you are not using the box as a headset. I had this issue until I stopped using it as a headset and now it works.
So we can all be rest assured that Harley made a back door deal with Apple to disallow Android auto and in turn get big bucks in their pockets.
Harley, Google or Apple. But there is hope it will one day show the Android Auto icon!
No it was google who decided not to support android auto on 2 wheels anymore
@ITFZone will do. I needed to walk away from it a bit but I'll send some pics when I retry. Thanks so much.

Yep I got a bit detailed on this one. I tend to do this! ;)
After doing this, when I go back to just wanting the fm radio, then I get no sound from my speakers. Everything is disconnected and the setting are on speakers, still no sound from my speakers. So it killed my fairing speakers. Anyone else have this issue?
In device manager is the AI Box listed as connected? You should be able to go between the AI Box and the built in tuner.
@ITFZone I checked that and it was unplugged and it didn't show connected either.

Can I watch Netflix videos once I get my android auto hooked up?
So yes you can, but if you stream from your phone via Bluetooth it will not be great. You would be better to use the embedded interface of the device and a true WIFI connection. I hope you intend to do this in the garage vs on the road!

@petermorabito1498 so the antfas box worked?
if hd says google discontinued AA they are lying. google discontinued the "mirror" function which is a cheap and dirty way to get AA on the phone screen. that may be how hd would get it on the infotainment screen. hd is typically 5-10 years behind the curve. has been for 120 yrs
Hopefully they will give us the map without purchasing it,but thats wishful thinking 😅
At this point I doubt it. My bigger hope is they will continue to improve on the embedded map to make it more worth the opt in price.

Well at least for now. We will soon see some alternative AMP options and if there is enough support for a different screen we might see one. I think the aftermarket will still be there for those looking for something different.
Iam sure apple paid harley and Indian to make these claims. Iam sure once that's proven it will be made available.
