Hi Matty! Are you still using this compressor ? There’s a good deal for Black Friday but I don’t know if it’s compatible with my MacBook M1. Plus I have uad LA2a, 175, Fairchild, Cl1b, chandler limiter, summit tla-100a, and some more non-tune compressor plugins, so I’m not sure if it worth it . Can you help me out on this one please ?

Is there any other vari mu that isn't (besides MJUC) that sounds as good and silky as El Rey, or at least close to that that isn't too heavy on the cpu?

Sorry for keep asking everywhere but do ylu have drop outs or problems with Console 1 on Studio One. I read there is a known bug Softube wont fix as its deep in the code they responded. Need to know before ordering one as I use Studio One 3.5

haha. No Behringer. The bettermaker mastering EQ was in front of me. It's now in my rack. Replacing my older bettermaker EQ. It's the same EQ but with more bands more features etc....
I wonder whether El Rey is a compressor or an equalizer? There is obviously an eq under the hood, unfortunately no saturation and drive like all AA plugins. Well, AA Crimson, but it sounds awful imo and is one of the biggest cpu hogs
I am not sure if this is some inside joke that I don't get and you guys are straight trolling or you are all simply delusional... You guys act like this compressor does something really amazing to a sound while in reality, the actual effect is so subtle that it will be impossible to hear it in a full mix. The guy is comparing it to Fabfilter and there is literally no audible difference and he claims there is some "thickness" that amazes him. just wow.

I still use it! It's sitting right in front of me. :) The session I used in the video isn't really a mix. Just stems to showcase the El Rey.
