I really enjoyed all the sharing of running into your exes stories, whether it be bawling at the club or feeling like a hero. way too relatable. appreciate this podcast!
Being a male fan of all three ladies, the topic is one that probably is felt by both sides, especially for the one who didn't initiate the breakup. I sort of think that the one who didn't initiate the breakup is probably the one who feels the most depressed/awkward of encountering a former love interest. I think highly of the three ladies as they are intelligent, personable, attractive and professional, so I think the guys who initiated a breakup really lost out, but each has shown their strength and moved on. It's awkward for the non-initiating individual to encounter a former with their current significant other, as it might make the non-initiator feeling insecure with their ex and/or current. Even if during the breakup, the initiator says they can still be friends, if the initiator had instances after the breakup with the former, it's rather hard for later on, when the non-initiator encounters the former acting so friendly, it feels insincere as when earlier encounters, the initiator ignored the other. It's best to let sleeping dogs lay in future situation and acknowledge the initiator if one chooses to.
Omg. Im totally in this situation right now. My boyfriend is good friends with his ex. It bothers me, but I don't want to tell him that he can't talk to her anymore. I don't think I have that right to. As silly as it sounds, I worry that that they will develop feelings for each other again.
Yea red flag/no bueno…my ex did the same thing wanted to be friends/we stayed friendly because of our dog then he decides to confess his feelings to me. I turned him down obviously since he has a gf and cut all contact.
I don’t think so much weight should be placed on exes/people watching stories for the most part. People watch stories just to watch them or maybe just go down the line of people’s postings. There is also that side where an ex could be creepin tho 😊 but for the most part it’s watevz. Great topic! Was very engaged with this episode.
Oh no Janet!!! The girls told you WRONG girl. Yes you should’ve walked right up to him and just say hi to break the ice. For 1, you would’ve addressed your fear and prob would’ve learned something or gained something from it at the least. And 2, it would’ve showed him how confident you are. Ooh girl!!! They did you wrong.
I have actually "seen " my ex's sister because she was part of a public lion dance performance. I would be confused if I can say hi or not just because she's my ex's family member. I was the one who got dumped so idk if he told her to not talk to me(I didnt see my actual ex there 😅that day)... What would you do if you bump into your ex's sibling or family member?

@@A.T.0sI've been there too! I kept in touch with my ex because of our dog, but then I decided to cut ties with him.
