On a hand-me-down smart phone, I thought the plug hole was faulty, this was on a phone where the previous owner had never even plugged headphones into it. I just wasn't pushing the jack in hard enough at the end when it's nearly fully inserted - there's an extra little snap that feels like the last 1mm of plug and it needed pushing quite hard to get the jack in properly. I suppose it's just because it's never been used before. It's going to get used now 🙂

Hi, my sennheiser gsp 300 mic suddenly stopped working. I tried the front panel jacks of my pc as well but the mic doesn't pick my voice there is only buzzing sound. Did my mic really die is there no way to fix it?

I have a Galaxy s4 mini and today my phone started sounding scratchy but for some reason my phone would just shut off when I plyg in headphones do you know why it does this?

I think this might be because I have an old computer (about 5 years now) but the Headphone jack still makes this static noise even when I stay still. It's very off and on. sometimes the static will stop but it will go static out of no where.
