so u unlayer the cover of the wires then sacrifice a bit of wire length get the cowler of audio jack throw away audio jack get a new audio jack get audio jack on table and pop it in and adjust it get it tight in and layer it how u want. a.k.a depends what model u have .
You still have to solder the wires, then the video should be re-written with soldering in it as soldering is putting the wires on a jack..Great videos i love them.. They are fantastic. i love them,,...

Sorry I have to comment on this off topic. Why do most UA-camrs use this simular cheesy dance music on there videos n put up subtitles? It would be better to put something everyone knows or just commentary with a Morgen Freeman voice lol, anyways its a good video. Thanks
1: Headphones may sentimental value. 2: Your question makes since with cheap headphones, but some headphones are expensive. I’d rather learn to repair it and spend $10 then spend $100 on something that may break again.
Only clicked on this thinking it was a Magyver on the spot fix, not a shopping list for the hardware store.. i rate this 4 irrelevants out of 5 with one relevant awarded for illuminating the hows and the whys of these infuriatingly unreliable vessels of exasperation. Do better

I have like 7 earphones 5 of them are original when i buy the phone and 2 of them from the store... All of them are broken and probably the same problem

There are no other ways of fixing it without replacing the earphone jack. Instead, just test it on a really old earphone.
