  • What must be the most "unique" campground we've been to, Austin Lake was nestled away in the hills of Ohio.
The campground was full of iron statues, big foot references, and other oddities, yet was one of the most relaxing campgrounds we've been to. It was quiet, no sounds of the road, and the stars at night were probably some of the brightest we've seen.
If you're looking to disconnect and get away, check out Austin Lake RV Park.

We are definitely going to check this place out next summer. Looks great. Except the cell service thing. Not sure up for that.

I wouldn't worry one bit about not having cell phone service there. Or Wi-Fi. The whole point of going to a place like this is to get away from your electronics and enjoy nature and have fun.

Unfortunately one of us has on-call and remote work so we need connectivity. We do tend to put our phones down and ignore them as much as possible, however.
