Disney World PRO Goes to Disneyland for the First Time
Переглядів 84Місяць тому
Melanie has been to Disney World over 30 times in her life, but not once has she set foot in Disneyland, well we changed that! Mel was nervous as we packed, Mel was nervous as we entered the park, and finally she was at a loss for words. The parks had some similarities but also a lot of differences. If you're a Disney World veteran, but have never been to Disneyland, you should definitely cross...

The Best Hike We've Done In New York!
Переглядів 6693 місяці тому
While the hustle of New York is familiar, the Finger Lakes were a revelation. We explored two hikes, one bustling with activity and another hidden gem that has skyrocketed to the top of our favorites list. In this video, we'll explore the trail that stole our hearts and secured its spot as our #1 favorite hike. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must-add to your adventure checklist. Ge...
A Journey Through Hocking Hills' Stunning Landscapes
Переглядів 2375 місяців тому
Join us on an off-the-beaten-path hike through Hocking Hills, Ohio, where things got a bit wild-spoiler alert, I lost my glasses along the way! 🤷♂️ The best part? We mostly had these stunning views all to ourselves. Hiking to the harder parts where others usually quit, we found serenity and solitude. It's not just about the sights; it's about the journey to get there. Nature's got its quirks, ...
Nervous About Water Issues | RVs and Cheese
Переглядів 527 місяців тому
Is there anything better than when you know you have upcoming travel plans? Although the season is ending for most, it was just beginning for us. There's still a lot left in 2023. We're excited for more travel, but also nervous about any water damage from storage. We had 3 leaks last season alone! Also we found out, we've been sleeping on Grandpa's Cheese Barn. #rv #travel #rvlife
New York City in Just 24 Hours
Переглядів 1259 місяців тому
How much can you see with only 24 hours in New York City? Well it turns out, quite a bit! From the 9/11 Memorial, to the Statue of Liberty, and even catching a play or two. New York City has a lot more to offer than we expected. We typically like weekend trips as a way to see a new area, but NYC was one of the few places we've been where we felt we could have used just a few more hours. #newyor...
Is this the worst way to see Disney World?
Переглядів 33311 місяців тому
If you're like us, you're probably short on time, money, or both. That's why we cram as much as we can into as little time as possible. In an effort to make the most of every moment, we decided to tackle 4 Disney World theme parks in just 2 days. We also went all out and added on another day to knock out Universal Studio's 2 parks as well! #disneyworld #disney #disneyvlog

Looks fun!
DRAMA
Great watch! I cried when I first saw the castle, happiest place on earth! Would love to go to Disneyworld someday!
No matter how many times I go I still get very emotional! Disneyland was truly incredible! Disney world is Disneyland on a much larger scale! You are going to love it! If you ever find yourself going and have any questions, let us know!
Butterfly conservatory is nice, I also enjoyed the shipwreck museum.
There's quite a bit there we still have yet to do! We're looking forward to another trip back!
did you have to book the boat ride to Latitudes separate? And how did you book the boat ride over and back? Thanks!
The boat is actually part of your reservation. When booking Latitudes, your reservation time is actually your boat departure time. They also recommend you arrive 10 minutes early to the dock. Depending on where you park, the walk to the dock could be 5-10 minutes. If your dinner reservation is at 6:00PM, you'll need to be at the boat dock by 5:50PM, but leave 5-10 minutes to walk over to the dock depending on where you park. Hope that helps!
Very nice beautiful sharing sister Stay connected with me Now friend U 💯👄🔋👄🔋👄☺️👄☺️👄
Very nice beautiful sharing Stay connected with me Now friend U 🫦🌨️🌉😂🌉🏖️🌹🌲🌹🌉🌒
Where did you camp at?
We stayed at the Finger Lakes RV Resort, which was really well kept! We'd stay there again. It was a 12 minute drive to Watkins Glen, and about 30 minutes from Buttermilk Falls (2nd Hike).
The finger Lakes are so beautiful. We did The Gorge hike at Watkins Glen this summer at it's was our top hike of the summer. There's just so many things to do in the area. Fun video guys!!
That whole area was absolutely beautiful! We're hoping to go back and check out some more of the surrounding areas soon!
Happy to see you guys back. Have missed your videos this camping season.
Thanks, happy to be back! Unfortunately we had some back to back life events this year that slowed us down a bit. But we've pushed through that and we're back on the road!
You did not even mention that the Hemingway "penny" story was in connection to the huge pool that his wife Pauline built. A critical element if one wants to make sense of the story. and by all means; beware of the killer chickens.🙄Will place in the do not recommend file.
That whole tour was fascinating, what a wild life. We luckily did not have any chicken run-ins ourselves, but did watch someone across the street from us being chased by chickens! When they're mad, they're mad!
Going their tomrrow!
Have fun!
🍀 I can’t resist a good Disney video and love your honesty. Thanks for all the great tips
Thanks for watching! As Disney lovers ourselves, we understand!
Ya'll are braver than we are! 🤣 Great vid. Elements are all there. Just keep swimming!
Thanks for the feedback and support!
Great video and information but I would add getting a Lobster Roll at the famous Clam shack in Duval st. On the west side of Key west, walking distance from downtown you get lots of street performers as the sun is setting. It makes it for an awesome spot for photos and entertainment.
Awesome, we added that so we know to check it out next time!
Great video thanks. Heading down in July ❤
Awesome! Have a great trip! Let us know how it goes.
This is a fantastic video! We are heading down in a few days! 🎉
Enjoy your trip! Let us know how it goes!
Cool...thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!!
Great video, what are u allowed to bring on the plane to the Dry Turtogas ? Can u bring water a snacks so u don’t get dehydrated ?
Thanks so much for watching! This is from the seaplane site if you want a little more info! keywestseaplanecharters.com/faq/ They do provide you with a cooler and complementary water or soda if you want. We did take a few snacks of our own. But they do have some things for purchase when you check in. They will also provide you with snorkel gear if you do not have your own! However keep in mind your bag has to be pretty small since it's only an 8 passenger plane so don't over pack(which I know can be difficult to do).
The Turtle Hospital is not in Key West which is why you don't hear people talk about it there; it is in Marathon at MM47, 47 miles north of KW. So many visitors think Key West is ALL there is to the Florida Keys, but as you experienced, there are many other Keys in the Island chain beginning in Key Largo with all the keys being connected by 43 bridges. Come on back when you can stay longer!
There was definitely a lot to do and we'd love to come back and do more!
you can not do it all in one day!
Definitely not! We love to cram a lot of activities into a short period of time. However, there's a lot to do in Key West and we feel like we just scratched the surface.
Before it probably got too damn expensive because they had to keep shipping in water
Probably! They did end up eventually building cisterns to catch the rain water.
Great video with lots of ideas for when we get to the keys! As always, love your videos!
As always thanks for following along and providing feedback! The keys were incredible with lots of things to do! We're looking forward to going back and doing even more next time.
What a fun trip. Glad your pup is feeling a little better, it’s hard having elderly dogs and traveling. Thanks for sharing, this one just got added to our list of places to visit.
It can be challenging traveling with dogs let alone dogs not feeling well! It was a really fun time, look forward to seeing a video of your trip to Key West ;) .
Great video, guys! Awesome camera work and editing. We are also from Ohio and currently in Florida (Daytona Beach). Hope to make it to the Keys and also see Dry Tortugas National Park! So glad your beagle is okay. We had some issues recently with our senior dog Cooper and it sure is stressful, especially when you're in an unfamiliar area. We are already subscribers, so we look forward to seeing what's next for you guys! Safe travels!
Fellow Ohioans! Currently snowing quite a bit here, so enjoy the warmer Florida weather! The Keys and specifically the Tortugas were a great time, hope you can make it down there! Thanks for watching and subbing!
I haven't been to the Keys for years, thanks for the mini vacay!
Happy to help! Not sure where you're at, but currently we're sitting in cold and snowy weather!
We really want to get down to the Keys... Thanks for sharing this video, we really enjoyed it!
It was quite the trek for us! Around 30 hours over 2.5 days, but it was worth it! And on the plus side I made it through 3 or 4 audiobooks, ha. Thanks for watching!
That place is on our bucket list as well! Tons of history in that part of Florida.
It was really great, and I'm glad we made the trip!
Goodonya for adopting a turtle. And glad to hear that Lady is doing good. Nothing worse than having as sick doggo. Always fun to watch your adventures.
Thanks for following along! Lady is back on her feet and actually just turned 16!
Dude, I love what you have done with your water connections, I need to do that on our Imagine. And good on Mel for fighting for your right to beach view!! We really enjoy watching your guys stuff. Safe travels kids!!!
The water setup has been a real game changer! I did plan to release a video on how I set that up just haven't gotten around to it yet. As far as the view we typically don't like to make a fuss about things, but in this case it wasn't a cheap spot and we ended up having tons of empty lots around us the entire week, so we felt less guilty.
Melanie and Josh, great video, guys. The Keys look amazing. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels
Thanks Craig, safe travels to you as well!
Oh how I miss the warm Florida sunshine. Thanks for sharing!
Florida in the fall/spring is our favorite time of year. Weather is typically and warm, not hot and sticky.
I love Fish Petting, LOL. I loved the scene of you 2 chatting by the sunset with the dramatic music. WOW, that late night dive was amazing, and frightening. Which Canon Camera are you rocking, looks great.
Thank you! Currently rocking the Canon EOS R5 for the uncropped 4k footage. Originally started with the Canon EOS M50 which we loved! However, having an IT background and an obsession with quality I wanted to extend the our footage quality more than a few years by investing in 4K. If you keep an eye out at BestBuy or Amazon once or so a year the R5 goes on sale for almost $1,000 less than normal. It's worth noting that even before UA-cam we recorded a ton of travel and family events so this purchase was more than for UA-cam.
@@AddingToOurStory WOW, the R5 is the dream. I'm jealous. I shoot with an EOS RP. I recently splurged on the RF 15-35 f2.8 and I love it. I don't mind using 1080, because it still looks amazing for video content. But I've been trying my hand at selling stock footage and I can really see the blur when I zoom in and pixel peep. I am thinking there is an R5 mk II coming out soon.
Thanks for bringing some FL sunshine to my living room 🙂
Happy to help! Now if we could just bottle it and bring it home we'd be on to something!
Absolutely a great video. Very nice video of Key West. Awesome sunsets love. The manatees video was well done. Thanks for your hard work.
Glad you enjoyed it and really appreciate the positive feedback!
One of the most expensive places to camp in Florida if not the US. Glad you got moved. Are you going to be on the Treasure Coast at all? I hope you like our geeky new channel name. We are rebranding to fit better with our mission to promote environmental and cultural preservation on our upcoming carbon-neutral UNESCO world tour. Cheers and keep up the fun. - Turtle
It was rather pricey. It's hard to tell in the video, but the spot they initially put us in had us situated odd on the backside of the camper. Even the site guide said "this isn't really a good spot and can be difficult to get setup in." However, we went to the front office and just nicely asked if there was any other spots open. They without any push back were accommodating so it all worked out. Glad we asked since the whole row where we ended up was mostly vacant for the whole week! Also like the new name and good luck on your tour!
@@AddingToOurStory The keys are beautiful but expensive. It is always good to ask. We check into places on camera and find it helps get better spots or rooms at times. Cheers and enjoy our beautiful state and Parks. - Turtle
Sooner or later this channel will blow up, I've this feeling like
Wow, thank you! We're just living life and documenting it along the way, but really appreciate the support!
Godonya for being spontaneous and living on the edge of no plans. Many times that's when the coolest stuff happens!
That's what we're learning! We said it a bunch in the video, but we're typically "plan" people. So throwing the plan aside and doing whatever we could felt like we were living life on the wild side! We're still planning everything, but now going to leave a bit more unplanned in-between.
@@AddingToOurStory I think that's the best option. For Toni and I we tend to plan, but also leave ourselves open to adventure when it presents itself. Keep adventuring kids! We love watching your stuff.
Thank you so much!
It's so beautiful we stayed at Sara's this summer wonderful experience just subbed thanks for sharing
It is one of our favoite parks! Smaller and so quaint! Thanks for the sub! Gland you enjoyed the video and hope you have safe and fun travels this year!!
Love the old Tutor looking building. And you're absolutely right about camping, there can be obstacles thrown in your way, but it's so worth it!! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
At this point as long as when we turn the water on there's not a leak, I'm happy!
Beautiful park! Nice video.
Thanks! We absolutely loved it. Actually now have a picture of it hanging on our fridge.
