Mattel had Black Barbies since the 3rd year of Barbie at least. They had a Barbie just for Nurse Julia who had her own show. + They had a Black Woman & Man with their own sculpts. Don't let people rewrite history.
@@chouchoue Yes there were black barbie dolls before the 80s but 1980 was the year that a black doll was had the name "Black Barbie" on packaging. Its confusing, I know.
@@chouchoue that doll/s (which was scarce) was not labeled as being a “Barbie”. There was “segregation” even then amongst the “Barbie” label, sadly. So that’s the true history right there.

Not gonna lie, I haven't been liking most of the Barbie Extra dolls at all, but this one is really adorable. They finally got it right.

I now find myself buying barbies and other dolls just for the fashion. I have also come to love the curvy dolls. I think I enjoy sewing clothes for the curvy dolls more than the others now. I can honestly " blame" this on you. This has all become fun.

I love the idea of Barbie extra having pets. I just don't like those huge headed cartoonish things they've been making g for a while. I agree with you about those stays too. Holes or snags in the clothing isn't nice. Im not trying to sound negative but these are pet peeves of mine too. Other than that its a lovely doll!

The mini Barbie's from the dollar store are bigger than World's Smallest, right? Wondering if that's a better fit for the scale of the box. I'm also curious about which dolls would fit that car. Not a fan of the pets either, but a mini car for the doll's dolls wouldn't be bad. I've seen people use those Tiny TV Classics by Basic Fun as retro TV's, they seem nice.
Those VHS tapes are perfect. Now you just need a player. The tape getting stuck inside will be very realistic. 🤣
