You have influenced me to purchase my first Mary Kate and Ashley, I found a pair of them on Mercari for $7 + $7 shipping. They are used and a bit dirty but I can take care of that and i love the challenge of restoring dolls to their former beauty. Can't wait to get them on Tuesday. Thanks for your videos, love them so much and your teaching of how to fix dolls. I have never used hairspray on them and doing it on qet hair is brilliant. ❤

if you twist each strand slightly before twisting the two strands together, it gives a tighter, prettier result.

I wanted her first but I got Barbie extra fancy doll line Barbie with the big half cut pink dress she’s so fancy and cute tbh and just iconic Barbie theme all pink !!

Becareful with hairspray. Make sure to wipe her face with a damp soapy cloth afterwards. Hairspray can damage paint finishes overtime and can cause them to wipe completely off. I made this mistake a few years back and that happened to me. I then learned from some of my other collectors that pomade or gel are the best setting alternatives. I prefer pommade as it doesn’t make the hair hard or crunchy

I am not really into Barbies and the extra ones to me are all over the place style-wise, but you picked one of the ones with more decent styling as she's monochromatic and very Moschino inspired.
You did great on the hair, I've never tried to do twists as I didn't know how they were done, but you made it look quite effortless...

Yes- I agree sometimes dolls these days are very very colorful and have a variety of patterns and designs and so I really liked that this particular doll had one simple color scheme. The twists did take me a while to get the hang of but I think it’s worth trying!! You can always undo and start over ! And LOL the sock 😂

... I feel your pain!!! 😢... Why do they sew down the clothes?... It's inside the package anyways. What is a jacket gonna fall off if not attached to the blouse 😂😂😂... Really!!! To much extra things to do while unpacking. Dam Barbie companys should realize that there packing items can sometimes cause damage when unpacking... That irritates me keep up the good work 💕 cutie 🥰.... Joe in Texas 😊

My gf found a way to open them and Put them back in box they come pre cut in the back she used a pocket knife to cut the edges and u can add tape to put then back in box and display

There is no nice way to unbox the Extra dolls, haha. I don't even know what the perforated window in the back is for. Those plastic tabs in the clothes are the worst! I miss the way they packaged clothes in the 90s/00s by sticking them to some weaker strength adhesive. It holds up without any damage, unlike the tabs which WILL rip out of the clothes if jossled too hard. How do you feel about her jacket? I like the idea but it feels really yucky in my hands. 😭😭😭 I've considered getting a mini fur coat on etsy instead to match her box art. Her hair turned out really nice too! Awesome job. I let down the hair on mine and the length is insane.
