The only thing I did was to wire speaker centers to the speaker connection. I do not know for sure if that is what makes it work. I have to turn it up load to get the led to work.
My door panel did not fit on over this adapter, I even tried installing the otherside down with no luck... On the driver's side the gas door and trunk release module is in the way.. did anyone find a work around for this?
Was there any modification the the door panel ? Do you have a pic of the door panel attached?
i can't see the door panels going back on with all that extra height/depth sticking out?
What did you do to get the lights to work

I have those same speakers but I can't get the lights on, where do I need to wire it up at

Will any brand of speakers work? I know for vw beetle they measure 6.5".

yeah this video seems kind of misleading. i think it assumes you plan on hacking up the door panels or something.
