Would love a mini series about faith in prison, adjusting to her rules, restraining her powers, meeting a vulnerable inmate who become her friend and she’s killed by other inmates and Faith wants revenge but at the last second she manages to stop herself and instead she turns them in and testifies against them.
And maybe she ends up protecting the younger more vulnerable inmates from sexual predators and drug gangs etc
You could even have have demons put a bounty on her so they’re trying to infiltrate the prison as guards and inmates to try and kill her. She can have a therapist and we can see the growth she took in two seasons in more subtle detail. Flashbacks of her past, childhood, being activated, bonding and losing her watcher.
We could even see scenes that happened during her time in sunnydale that we simply didn’t see. Like for example what was Faith doing during Gingerbread? Or band candy?
I agree, there's so much we don't know about her, with the little screen time she had.

fun fact the scene where faith dog-sits Oz and then accidentaly hits buffy out of reflex wasnt scripted it was elizas instinct after growing up with two brothers, but SMGs face was so great they had to keep the scene in haha

I love her. She made some awful mistakes, but she tries to move past that.

They all were acting like she stabbed that man intentionally. She thought he was a vampire änd so did buffy
The problem is after she killed him she doubled down and tried to play it off like she didn't care. She refused to take responsibility and literally turned evil-- she tried to help snake-mayor destroy the town/world, which ended up causing several fatalities. She nearly sexually assaults Xander-- when she throws him on the bed in that episode after trying to seduce him, he says "no" and tries to get away, and she then tries to strangle him. When she switched bodies with Buffy she had sex with Riley, which was sexual misconduct if not sexual assault on both Buffy's body and Riley who didn't know he was having sex with a stranger. She does a lot more stuff too with violence and attempted murder / facilitated murder. Obviously she has problems with using sexuality as a tool, we don't really know anything about her past and why she has no family, maybe she was abused or something, and clearly the Scooby gang could've treated her a lot better. I do love her character and she does really try to redeem herself, even continues trying to do so in the comics, but to say she did nothing wrong is absolutely incorrect.
@@Rsheissekopf i think her reaction was out of shock. She was naive and addicted to slaying bc its the only thing she was really good at. Buffys reaction also played a factor imo. Like she immediately acted like Faith did it on purpose and blamed her without even saying it was an accident. If she told her that it wasn't her fault at all, she wouldn't have lost her mind like that.
@@SaraShakur94 yeah, probably. I mean, if I accidentally killed someone I probably would've come up with a way to justify it not mattering instead of taking responsibility as well, but that still doesn't make it okay. If Xander or Willow or even Buffy accidentally killed someone, and everyone blamed them for it, they still probably would never try to play it off as not caring and just be extremely distraught. Buff had lots of near-misses in the show where someone surprises her or jumps out at her and she always stops herself from staking them so I'm betting she shoved all the blame to Faith because she could never imagine herself doing something like that even though deep down she knows there had been times where she almost had. It was very wrong of her to blame Faith, though she did try to get Faith back on their side after her own shock wore off but by then it was too late to take all the mistrust and blame back. I could understand Faith spiraling and doing risky/controversial stuff but she just went completely over the line and joined the forces of evil she was originally trying to stop with very little reservations. She is only a kid after all, and probably felt like someone actually loved her for once (Mayor acted like a surrogate dad) but she really just went straight bad for a while. She's actually a well written character with some actual depth, which makes her struggles relatable.
Edit: I'm rewatching Buffy and recently got to the episodes where Faith stabbed the deputy mayor and Buffy is an absolute saint. She actually never blames Faith for the entire time afterwards, all the way until Faith goes to the mayor to ask to be his lacky. She stood up for Faith to her friends and Giles. She constantly referred to the situation as "we" and "us" in trouble, and that she knows how Faith feels and that she knows Faith really does care and they can help each other get through it. The scoobies all try to help Faith, too-- heck. even Angel tries to help her after he catches her attacking Xander (who also went way out of his way to try and talk to her and tell her it wasn't her fault by the way). Buffy, Giles, and everyone basically went all out trying to find a way to support her while helping her come to the realization/responsibility herself, with Buffy trying extremely hard multiple times to make Faith understand she can come back from this, and she doesn't have to do anything rash, all while being just a kid herself. So yeah I would definitely not say Buffy's reaction played any part in her turning towards the dark side. if anything, she and her friends probably delayed it and planted the seeds for redemption and forgiveness later down the road.

No, he is actually correct. Robin is far more conventionally attractive in his looks which would fall in line with Pretty/Handsome monnikers. Faith is more attractive over all, but her style really doesn't fall under 'Pretty'. Faith is Gorgeous/Hot/Smoking, but she's not really Cute/Pretty.

People forget how much evil the hellmouth was leaking and how it affected everyone's decision making. Anya and Rona are the only two who actually crossed a line that episode though. And when Buffy returns to leadership, she softened her style AND everyone also stopped giving her so much flak. Both sides realized they screwed up and could do better.

This video and edit is great! But I hope you don't mind me asking why you're using the Buffy HD remaster of S1-5 for all of your videos? It just looks so much worse than the original footage, all the color correcting is awful, the cropping sucks and their skin looks so rubbery. 😬 None of which is your fault! It's just the HD remaster was treated so poorly by the people who made it originally. I recommend using the original 4:3 aspect ratio footage, it's a lot better to look at.

I downloaded the episodes individually from buffy hd tumblr and then edited the parts that I wanted, the quality isn’t the best but it is the only place I can download the episodes that I know of and it is better than screen recording the clips. Nope, she never had a surname during the course of the show. It was only after the show had ended, that the creator had made a surname for her, which I believe was created for the comics
