I dunno how I missed this one. :/ Good info again Hayden.👍 Our three HAM repeaters are not simulcast: (.... also our two commercial FM radio stations are also segregated in Lower South Canberra and the rest of Canberra due to our close proximity of the Tidbinbilla radio dishes (20min drive) ... apparently they need that frequency or small frequency range. If I drive about 10min from my home, I have to hit another preset to get the same station from Black Mountain which is a much more powerful transmitter but I live in a valley far south.... so we get double screwed. Lol You need to come up here to set-up voting and simulcasting.🙏👌😄
Great video guys. Wish this was around when I first started. TeamReplay for the win! I would be interested in a better understanding of the LMR coax issues.
this was very informative, some i learned as a beginner and was good to go over again. Some I did not know about. Thanks for the pleasant presentation. 73 de KC1MJZ

There is information on the repeater builder website that describes it nicely here -

@@HamRadioDX Thanks mate. Very helpful
the NYC repeater you are talking about is 147.000 WB2ZSE not only dose the door bell but a whole host of other tones
The repeater I used was on 29.620 MHz
@@HamRadioDX NY Wurtsboro KQ2H 146.2 Sullivan RX in Woodstock NY, KQ2H Net they are a good bunch of good people
What about Water Cooling the repeaters like you would Water Cool a personal computer to get rid of the heat.
