Never heard of or seen him, before this.
The nature of rental players is that you get greater value. Inserting more expensive players into the lineup for shorter periods, or players at prices cheaper than they would be the next year. It's not a fair question. You should ask if they're better at the beginning of the season, not after they signed rentals at playoffs start.
Give Desharnais and Forbert a chance. As a 3rd pair they have the size and reach to kill penalties and clear the front of the net. I doubt if anyone will be running our goalies with these two on the ice.
With Barrie/Klingberg/Schultz all still available you could see one more signing soon. They would rather not use LTIR, but that will help them get what they need going into the upcoming season.

@@rickmcgill722 Either waivers, minors, or small trade. For the playoffs, it's not what you start with but what you finish with.
I would much rather have all this depth that now canucks have weapons on all 4 lines and who knows how well hronek can improve on deffence. One big splash would just turn the canucks into the leafs being super top heavy
If the coaching staff can turn myers into a top 5 rhd in the league (that was on expiring deals) they can turn the bottom pairing into serviceable dman.
Canucks have 2 great x defensemen training and coaching.I think that changes how you judge the players they have. The ability for the D to skate the puck up the ice will be lacking on 2 of the three lines if the Hughes Hronek set arent seperated.A top 4 D will not be available for the money they have left so they will have to adapt what they have now.The important thing is that they are all healed and rested for another fast start this season,( while having much less downtime).The team needed to get bigger and they did that.I would like to see one more large forward for the 4rth line.Management looks to have atoned for much of what was lost with the Calgary trades.Perhaps show casing a bubble player or two early in the season could set up a trade for what is still needed.Go Canucks,its gonna be a great year.

Did either of you guys ever play organized hockey at any level above peewee? I don’t see any record of such in your bios. Of course you are entitled to your opinions but I think a lot of talk shows like this are attempts at being controversial rather than informative. Tell me if I’m wrong!

There's two puck-movers that can be acquired for probably dirt cheap: Klingberg/Barrie. Maybe $1mil for 1yr deal, or the team can see what Dman Pety or Willander can do...
Willander is at least two years away. He’s still only 19. Let’s see what he does this year at B.U. and maybe a year in Abbotsford.
@@rickmcgill722 Both Klingberg/Barrie are going to be good gambles for $1mil/1yr. They want the big payday and we want them to have a career year. They just need to not cough up the puck and drive Tocc crazy. Lol
@@tonykung8756 How do you sign Klingberg and Barrie when we already have 8 defensemen on the roster and another 9 or so in Abbotsford? And again both Pettersson and Willander are still kids who need some experience before playing at an NHL level. Jett Woo would be a better choice at this time if needed. Did you ever watch Boston University games? Willander played ok but he was the third or fourth defenseman behind guys who still won’t make the NHL yet.
@@rickmcgill722 Well, the analysts in this vid mentions adding a puckmover, so clearly there’s a way to sign at least one, else they wouldn’t discuss this if it weren’t possible.
@@tonykung8756 Sekeres and Price suggest scenarios to get people like you to listen to them. Don’t believe anything they say unless they’re reading a news release from the Canucks.
Put Debrusk with Miller and move Boeser back up with Petey and Hoglander.
