peat moss i found through experience is a MUST if you grow grass under the summer heat otherwise you have absolutely no chance of keeping the soil moist enough to achieve germination...you're on the right path buddy keep it up!

Plenty small spike holes, add grass seed and water in, after a few days add some water and Kelp mix, my neighbours always ask about my lawn, I just say it's a secret lol.

@@pkn920 Are you CRAZY! That's only for Garden Club and the first Rule of Garden Club is, NEVER talk about Garden Club, his Lawn will be better that ours man.
BUT Yes Humic Acid is very good good, maybe something like Diamond Black, going by his garden Id still start off with spiking all the problem area / areas, then applying good grade seed and watering in with kelp.
I hope he does a follow up video.
      Thanks.

You "may" get some growth now. Definitely need to stay on top of the watering and keep things wet. But your best bet is to reseed once cooler temps move in (53-60F)

Trim up the flower bed by taking the extra grass there and transplant it in the bear spots.

@@Dreamhomejourney7 I usually throw it down before the seeds. I also find that peet moss is great for covering the seeds, it helps retains moisture and keeps the birds away.
