@@eddominates The old big block 632 was not built for a blower, hence the issues in Austrailia. They were going to use a blueprint 540 until they got the rod shop engine. They were going to use the 6L LS that Parker borrowed and then ended up using the 427 LS. I don't recall how that changed. Cleetus said the 632 BB would go to the ramp truck, then recently they put that in one of the other burn out cars (maybe a crown vic, for one of the less seen friends of the channel to use. They ran it at Indy or one of those tracks and it is carbed and on pump gas). Cleetus said he had something better for the ramp truck. I would have to go back to see why the blazer got a 427 vs. the rod and piston 6L.
@@eddominates I don't think a 540 ever showed up. They said that was the engine blue print said to use and before it showed up, they got the rod shop engine.
I appreciate how insane the pressure is for these events. I do road race track days (DE events), and I have to turn down going to tomorrow's event that I booked last year because of minor issues. I normally drive 100 miles to the track, do 125 miles of hot lapping at the car's limit, and then drive it home. How crazy is it that my problems are nothing compared to any of Cleeter's cars that doing these events...
At this rate by end of the week Tye’s gonna be reclipping the blazer again due to repeatedly slapping the front end slowly tweaking it little by little
Funny enough he switched the tires back out for this event. I'm surprised he hasn't ditched small tire for good on Mullet. He wants 6's, he better keep it how he had it.
The thing is he’s king of the small tires right now. If he switches to big tire, he’s going to need a lot more car to compete. Motor, drive train and chassis wise. If you take a look at his M.O. he puts his effort towards things he can outright win. (Stick shift class, radial unlimited, etc) his channel doesn’t want to see him come in 8th place consistently. There’s a lot more money and a bigger set of competition in big tire.

can we all just take a sec to appreciate cleets honesty and humbleness he couldve easily taken that 7.04 but he didnt cleet you never fail to amaze me keep it up brother
They couldn't go any faster on their current tires in that track. He literally said it in the video that the traction control was already working overtime on that last run. That's the fastest they could go in that condition with their setup.
@@Sabrinahuskydog not what he’s saying. The track had an error in recording the second pass and it gave him a 7.04 they could’ve taken that when it didn’t actually run a 7.04
@@Sabrinahuskydog i watched the video too 🤦🤦he couldve easily took that slip but he didnt thats what i was pointing out obviously none of them could run that fast that day but he couldve said he did
I swear cleet can drive anything he gets behind. Lands a plane with ease?!?! What!🤣 keep er going buddy the amount of work you do is incredible
11:25 George is so genuine. I love it. MORE GEORGE!
Join us on the next episode where Cleet buys an LS airplane.
Im sure they build mini spitfire kits running an Ls...
I wonder if you can shoehorn one in a Kitfox
@@christianbuczko1481 They do. 3/4 size Spit with an LS aero conversion.
It's been done w/ at least a few aircraft, including a C-172 (seems way-overkill; they cruise at about 105Kts.), a Murphy Moose (good back country design), the Republic SeaBee (amphibious, w/ a large cabin), and someone is building a Velocity 4-seater w/ LS3 power (looks fast, but may be tight for taller pilots). Or, for "go really fast", a Thunder Mustang, 3/4 scale P-51 w/ a Falconer 600 cu. in. V-12, based on a Chevy Small Block!
I love how all the dust particles in the car start floating and then settle back down when you stop.
I think the weight change from the big clock in mullet really upset the suspension. Maybe it's time to go over all the weight ballasts and suspension settings again and do a track day like before where you only run to the 330' and 1/8th to get that short track down.
Thank you to you and your team for providing the best content, editing on point.
Love the way you have a problem, then solve it.
Keep it up 👍
Shoutout to Cleet and all the boys. Just saw you guys at Bandimere and they definitely put some bardle skeet in the burnout box. Basically the last run you could have made and you guys managed to squeek in a great pass. Thanks for the work all of you guys do to get us this amazing content. Don't let some stupid traction control keep you down, just gotta hit that laptop between the burnout and the run! I saw Cleet doing the laptop shuffle all night.
Been waiting 2 dang days for this!!!!!! Let's go!!!
You need a wheelie sensor or wheelie bar on that blazer that thing is a Dicey 🎲 especially with Richard Hammond 2.0 driveing 😂
I started calling him "wheelie" when they first started racing that machine
I was always here for the team and ruby, but now I'm here for the team and the blazer
Cleeter you guys are Pure Class!!! Also you guys are getting so good with your tunes!!! Stay safe and bring home a Big Check!!!
Great update ; Mullet doing good , and the Blazer..........what can I say ..........that blower works !
I see a plane being apart of the whole fleet in the near future! 👌🥰
Thanks for all this content man you and the team you've made are badass! 👌👌💪💪
That night shot in the blazer driving looked like ET was sitting in the engine bay.
I was wondering if anyone else caught that. The headers should not be glowing like that just cruising.
I'm an old school guy. I love watching these videos because I get to see you guys go through the process of dialing it in and I learn so much. It's cool because I can compare what we used to do with how it's done now and it all makes sense. I dig how you have all this telemetry at your fingertips and so many parameters you can tweak to get it just right. This would have been NASA level shit back when I was your ages and constantly messing with the carb trying to get rid of that off-idle bog when I punched it.
I am with ya on that being 62 years old. The cars are like spaceships today.
Cleet, I don’t think anyone here will be upset to see mullet on a big tire going down the track. Let’s get it brother!
Goddamn it's good to see Brent. I miss him lately.
You dont watch pfispeed?
Mullet needs some pins on the bed area so you can mount the hood to the rear of the car and not have it floppin around on the roof of the trailer.
@cleetusmcfarland I really enjoy the happiness that you and your brothers show for each other’s achievements. I lost my little brother 2 years ago seeing the joy you and your team have for each other always reminds me of him. Keep the love going bro.
The Blazer is tearin shit UP! and the old girl aint even dialed, she's just got a big block swap and GO GO GO! imagine once you can get the suspension to act right, and dial in traction control!!
The blazer is considered a small block...........a 427 LS. Mullet is a big block.
@@CGT80 its a 427? i thought it got Toast's old blueprint big block
@@CGT80 I thought the Blazer got the 540 Blueprint engine since they weren't gonna use it in Toast
@@eddominates I don't think a 540 ever showed up. They said that was the engine blue print said to use and before it showed up, they got the rod shop engine.
Still my favorite Race Week channel. You guys make Race Week, for me.
21:27 look at the blazer exhaust glowing red cruising down the road maybe timing related?
I bet that Blazer can do 8's easily with some suspension tweaks.
Please go Big Tire so mullet can run what it deserves!
That Blazer is an animal. Kudos to George for keeping it under control.
It’s so cool to see Cletus so happy for his mates and cheering all of them on.🤙🤙🤙
At this rate by end of the week Tye’s gonna be reclipping the blazer again due to repeatedly slapping the front end slowly tweaking it little by little
I hope so. Let 'er eat. I am not here to watch anything less.
@@eriklarson9137 Truth.
Look at cleet slip that plane in and grease the landing!
The only thing stopping the Blazer flipping over is George's balls of steel. Running a sketchy car hard down the track even after losing brakes.
Man, I love the look of the Blazer. Once you get the cooling and suspension all set up this thing is going to be so sick.
Blazer is the best build on the channel hands down, such a badass unit.
need to put mullet on big tires and show the street outlaws how it is done.
Funny enough he switched the tires back out for this event. I'm surprised he hasn't ditched small tire for good on Mullet. He wants 6's, he better keep it how he had it.
@@A-A-RonDavis2470 switched it? It was never a big tire car.
@@1216jimmyz He had a set of 305’s on it for the dyno test is what OP means.
@@KJ-kw7gh and you think that’s a “big” tire? SMH.
Freaking pumped about the Blazer. And that tune in Mullet on the last pass? Spot on. YEE YEE 🇺🇸
