Congratulations to Utah St. and their fans on a great win. You guys kicked our butt and won your 1st MWC title which was well deserved. Good luck in your Bowl game from an Aztec fan since the Coryell Era in the 60's. We had a great year but yours was a bit better. Thanks for the upload and for coverage of my AZTECS from a fan now living in east Tennessee.
now This game should have been cancelled! San Diego State was missing 20 key players due to Covid testing and protocols. Texas A & M cancelled its appearance in the Gator Bowl since it had similar problems with too many players out on Covid protocols. Rutgers took A& M's place in the Gator Bowl. This game was an embarrassment to San Diego State Athletics and to the Mountain West Conference Championship game. You don't send a bunch of inexperienced Freshmen and Sophomore players to play a Championship game in the age of Covid.....
You know what's sad is that should have never been a safety. The block punt that went into the back of the end zone should have never been a safety. I know somebody saying well what do you mean by that. I'm not talking against Utah State. But about a week or so ago there was a fumble that went into the end zone and the player it touched last was a defender that was the Oklahoma game if I recall. Who was the last person to touch that ball. That was a Utah State player. When Oklahoma was the last person to touch the ball why didn't they get the ball. And they didn't but why did you tell state. Both balls were touched by the defender before they went out of bounds. One got the safety the other one didn't.
@@the__siience8693 no there was a game the other day that was played that the defensive team touched the ball before went out the back of the end zone and the the offensive team got the ball back when it should have been a safety just like this game. Go back and tell me if the defender did not touch the ball before went out the end zone.
@@the__siience8693 and why do you think that I was even talking about that in the first place I was talking about if if a call is going to be played in one game one way and a Kohl's play different in the other game well then where would that be right. Let's let's stick to the moral of the story it wasn't about a team getting a safety.
Look up and read the ruling then buddy instead of fretting over 2 points in a game that would not have mattered anyway. I'm sure the rule book can clarify your concerns.
This assessment is incorrect. If a defensive player touches a ball beyond the line of scrimmage it belongs to the punting team if they fall on it. There was no touching of the ball by a defender beyond the line of scrimmage. A ball that goes backwards and is downed behind the line of scrimmage on fourth down (without defensive player possessing the ball) can only result in: a safety, a defensive touchdown, or a turnover on downs (barring defensive penalty). Since the defensive player that touched the ball never possessed the ball, this was the correct call.

Like those San Diego state unis
Byron Vaughns was on fire
San Diego state looked bad.
Why has San Diego State never had a good football program and why doesn’t any fans ever show up to their games?
9:51 Conquistadors after some time with the Aztecs
SD was ranked 19th --- but they played like 91. --- Thanks for the great upload. ---
C’mon Aztecs.
I thought a fumbled ball could only be recovered by fumbled player first on offense
Aztects lost twenty players due to covid ten of them were regular players
The good news is we get another shot at the championship next year. Go Aztecs.

@@ThirdBrainLives FACTS MATTER!
Isn’t next man up. What they preach? Everyone prepares to play. Get over yourself.

2 points wouldn't have mattered in this blowout of a game.
