Interesting setup, a really nice design, and easy to drive! But it's unfortunate and such a missed opportunity to make something really nice at this price point. A shame indeed Vortex! Appreciate the feedback as always✌
I actually like the sound. The only problem and is also the deal breaker is the short and thin nozzle which even the stock tips drop off easily and fitting is very troublesome probably also due to the small size. However, what’s interesting is different ear tips actually alter the sound significantly.
Excellent review, I expected more from this model. V shape for 80$? Shame on me, after ikko oh10 and tangzu zetian wu at 150$ each, Its over for me, no more v shape...
@@frederf69 yeah the DSP version Tanya didn't get the greatest of reviews. But I have to say the standard version Tanya is pretty good, especially for the price-honestly prefer them over the KZ Linlong
you are the first to review these. i've had these for a week & use with them balanced with the m1s using the black filter + narrow bore tips & found they sound ok for on the go. i agree about the BA, a triple DD would sound better, thanks for posting.
@@VortexReviews1 mostly use it with DCA/ Drop closed x cans & it can really drive them; well controlled sub/ bass with good texture, mids are almost realistic, treble is abit rolled off but has decent detail, image and dynamics + the stage, layering & separation is surprisingly good. so pretty good value for on the go, must be used balanced, but the single ended is ok for IEM's.
Graph show traditional harman curve and some user feedbacks say its not basshead and not for high frequencies sensitive wich is my case. Do u confirm too much highs ?

Getting the right tip that suits you I agree is very important.

Thanks very much and indeed.
must admit the Tanchjim Tanya do a better job for 15£/20$ 🤷♂the sono is source dependent though. paid 58£ for em.
@@frederf69Have to agree re Tanchjim Tanya-the regular ones not the DSP version. Really quite good, particularly for their price
@@benmacdhui i haven't heard the dsp model. for vocals these are amazing monitors for the dough yep 😀

@@frederf69 Thanks for your impressions and I had my eye on it but was unsure to get one.

Highs can be too much.
No chicken dinner then!
Nope!
Good
Thanks for watching.
Shanling have a few single dd l have two pair of them and they are great, same design as these sono..Nice one, cheers.
Glad you like them.
For me is great because I love the changing nozzles and place a sponge filter inside and now they should like the e200 simgot.
👍
Hola, saludos desde México, digamos que sería la competencia de Simgot ea500 ?
EA500 is better tuned than this in my opinion and hola to you.
