I just want the option to play more than just co-op, since we are a bunch og friends playing it, and online is just not fun, with 0 car developments.
@@Bowaha characters customisation. More data recording (like telling you when you achieve records like highest scoring rookie or most pole’s in history….). More cutscenes. More sense of rivalry with other pilots. Possibility to argue with the team on who’s first pilot. Argue about errors (long pits, strategy errors). More audios/reactions for wins. Better, more intelligent, and diverse commentary……………there’s loads to improve.
I hope this game will have anti cheats for online . Especially if EA really wants to explore the esports side of it.

Ive been really wanting physical changes on the car that go along with R/D upgrades. Or even picking from preset Front wings, side pods, etc so the car feels like MY car
They mentioned it on the first deep dive, physics have been remade from scratch, and I think they showed some corners on purpose during the video like in Suzuka turn 11, as soon as the car was a bit straight, full throttle in 3rd gear, no traction control (if there was you could hear it correcting the throttle but its not the case) so yeah, im hyped for that :D

If the handling is better and the net code is more stable, everything else is a bonus.
Having played F1 for 10 years I have been more and more put off by the handling model since 2021. 2021 was understeer city and 2022 felt like driving on inters all the time. Hopefully 2023 will be a step back in the right direction.
Yeah, on Controller it was horrendous. I mean as a carrer mode player the car got even worse to drive when you brought upgrades.
“Hopefully” is the word everyone loves to use. Everyone hopes for changes, then they buy the game and realise there are changes, but not the ones they wanted. Rinse and repeat the following year.

There are some camera shots and angles this game genuinely needs in the instant replay feature. Like, it would be awesome to watch the race replay in either a broadcast mode or a more cinematic way, would be great to see something like that.
even something so simple as spectating other racers when saving a full race replay could be great
having the option for different camera modes like a cinematic one for single laps and a broadcast one for race replays would be nice, very simple to do also
@@applehack97 yep. F1 06 and F1 06 Championship Edition also allowed players to spectate races.
They included Ultimate Team, so solo players, say goodbye to any hope to the F1 series
except you can do like 95% of the progression solo, only an XP bonus is locked behind multiplayer

@@alexnotlando People just want to dim their expectations which is understandable since it's ea and stuff but all of this is not too bad actually. If most bugs are fixed and we got more content which is also focused on longevity it can be a great game ngl (if the physics are as good as people say).
@@alexnotlando I hope the car parts thing apply to leagues too. Would be really useful for some leagues which run custom cars and are trying to give an enhanced experience.
Well it looks like another version of Ultimate Team. Buy more chips, make your car go faster by paying more and unlocking more upgrades. I hope it doesn't turn out to be that way, but surely this seems the start for it.
EA: Please guys, don't use the standard F1 Cars in Multiplayer which gives everyone an equal car. Use our F1 World Car instead! We definitely don't want to set up a system for you guys to spend money on new car parts in future games! This is not FIFA Ult... eh F1 Ultimate!
Any Open Lobby 2 weeks after launch: No, no I don't think I will.
Calling it right now: F1 World car upgrades will be purchaseable with Pit Coins. People will right away spend money to upgrade their cars and online play will be infested with people buying their way to faster cars while playing it normally will take quite a long grind. Consequently ranked will be annoying as hell if you are good but don't want to spend money.
They had to find some way to monetize the game even more. F1 Life didn't work out because nobody cared about sofas so now they are going for gameplay features.
Anyone who played NBA 2k knows what I'm talking about.
If that is the case there will be uproar, Micro-Transactions are annoying AF but pay to win will be too far

WOW, so this game will be extremely realistic
All upgrades (both Car Parts and Team Members) are unlocked through gameplay in F1 World, with additional upgrades being available as part of the Free and VIP tiers of Podium Pass.
These items can be acquired quicker using XP boosts via PitCoin, but there are no ways to purchase individual upgrades with real-world money.

Are they ever going to explain why at the end of BP1 it looked like we were going to join one of the big 3 teams, to now suddenly being in a fictional team with the main antagonist of the first game. Or are they just going to be like “Just forget about it I reckon”.

I think it's easily explained tbh aiden had offers from the top 3 teams, but konner Sport was a supprise entry and snatched up buttler and Jackson with a big offer with promise of being able to be a top team by the end of the season.

I would imagine that Madden and even NHL Ultimate Team probably fill their pockets more than F1. FIFA is obviously an enormous loss from a financial standpoint though.
Football Ultimate Team will still exist after the FIFA licence is gone. FIFA themselves won't even have a game until 2024-25 probably at the earliest
But you can definitely see whats going on with F1 World though and that will bring alot of Fifa players and UA-camrs over

Honestly I think it’s pretty nice that they’re finally introducing change. Hopefully, people start playing ranked more now since regular online is gonna be a bit more grind focused. Also, I hope they introduce Classic Cars this year, if not next year. They could make it where we would have to reach a certain rank or progress online or grind through My Team if they want. I just want a way to access older cars. Also it’d be pretty fun if you could race modern F1 cars with old F1 cars too.
Considering I saw a supercar in this Deep Dive... I'm not so sure.
@@tomvsas yeah but I think supercars are here to stay for the franchise. I’m pretty sure AM, McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes-Benz earn royalties just from having them in the game. I don’t see why all of them (except for AM) couldn’t allow EA to use their previous cars again.
I would like to see a Formula 1 game that is fully complete in story mode. Let it be from the beginnings in Karting, passing through Formula 2 and 3, and ending in Formula 1. That game would be really wonderful.

Braking Point has features that should be in career mode.
Reputation and Performance levels that have an impact on how your team, and other teams, react to you. Your results and reputation should influence what teams are willing to offer you what positions.
Sadly, I fear we will see the same linear, choose whichever team you want, career mode.
You mean the driver's one, right? Yeah, its a shame. I am currently playing F1 driver career. Its linear, but if you build a story yourself, it might be interesting. The Solo Career should be able to create stories themselves, like:
Beginning of your career, you can "choose" who your "drivers mate" is from the current grid. And maybe who you do not really intend to be a buddy with. With on track and Championship battles, the relationship can change.
As a new icon we have a great driver, who scored his sole, but memorable podium in 2012. And Maldonado

As a player of iRacing, the division-ranked system for ranked MP I am most excited for. It is a way better way than just a free for all system, plus we won't be driving with all those that just choose to crash everyone and ruin a race.

Yeah something with big words like " world" and then "local" multiplayer.
The thousands of leagues out there: are we a joke to you? I think they should still keep solo players engaged, but leagues have also been asking for more content for them too and to focus more on the multiplayer side of things. Would be cool if the upgrades are also available for the standard player car rather than the F1 World one only, but I guess I'll have to make some "deep dive" too into the game to see what my league can benefit from.
Whole trailer got me confused and i doubt no one really cared for career mode like honestly what's the point even in it? Then there's the podium pass smh basically you gotta pay to get better rewards as a fan of f1 there are two thing's i wanted 1st. Reintroduction of classic cars sice they were a blast to drive in 20. 2nd. Fix the Ai speed and cornering speed because it's just too overpower in 22 and in 21.

I’m excited for Breaking point 2. Played more championships than I can count so I enjoy a story driven experience sometimes. Tbh I’ve been playing F1 games since PS1 and I’ve still not got that in to the online. The tier system sounds a little like and reminds me of the Dirt 3 ranking system. That was a great way to help avoid idiots when you just wanted a good clean race with people. Sounds like there is some interesting stuff coming anyway.
As the season goes on the pit crew should automatically upgrade your car ..and have them communicate with the driver on what’s been done to it ..while showing the work being done or having the option to skip
not suprised if next game we open packs to get car upgrades
