I know that it's not the video about cat but I need to say it - actually bells on cats collars are really not good for them, since they have better hearing they hear it 10x more than us, it can actually ruin their hearing, it also can cause behavioral problems due to stress of constant ringing... Search the information about this. It's really better for kitty to remove the ring. 🙏🏻❤

@@DissociaDID to add, collars could possibly be dangerous too. I used to have a collar on my cat a long time ago and she actually got caught and could have choked if I wasn't there. Luckily, she was okay but we never put her collar back on
@@dot4562 actually now you can get special cat collars that stretch so if they get stuck on something they can just pull their head away and continue their adventure 😊

Yeah exactly. They shouldn’t feel bad about the integration because of what people in the internet think. I used to LOVE Nina but it’s still the same person, just in a different way. I don’t 100% understand DID but from what I know, all the personality traits of the alters are still there just presented different.

For Kyle to integrate, I think, shows MASSIVE progress in your healing journey. It says that your system didn't need that same designated protector anymore, and that's amazing. Of course we knew and loved Chloe, Kyle, Nin, and Nina on their own but I love that they're all what makes YOU -- and you're stronger for it. Happy for you all, and your baby Seraphina! @@daniellekirsch5402 sadly, not always. Sometimes integrations stem from new trauma. The sistem doesn't have the same needs anymore, which might a good sign, or a bad one, or a neutral one. Of course, in their case, they're healing and it's amazing!

@@RayneDavila not necessarily. Like, first of not all systems WANT total integration or need it. Kaya literally said they don't want it. Second, even if they were to do that, that wouldn't mean "it's no problem"

In Filipino, Kya (spelled "kaya") one of its meanings is "able" and I love that it shows that Kya and the system is able to do anything. They are able and strong and still fighting despite all the struggles they've experienced.
I just love Kya's name! It portrays them and it means so much.

It's so interesting to see not only how all the alters came together to become stronger, but also to see you as you're own individual self. Sure, you've got mannerisms and qualities of Chloe, Nina, Nin, and Kyle, but there's also so much that's so uniquely Kya. I'm excited to see where you and the rest of the system take this channel and your journey going forward

I feel like when some inner systems integrate like that and go through the process of gain a self confidence in the feeling of I am me I am real I am who I am, first it might be kinda terrifying but than eventually you gain what you were hoping for and maybe even other changes that help - that might feel very gratifying and satisfying. At list for us- we’re still have few happy pots if alter soups, and we can be here for each other which feels really good.

it’s crazy cause even though kyle is no longer a separate alter and is fused together with nin, you can still hear some of his mannerisms, speech patterns, and personality in kya much like you can hear nin in kya as well. even though you’re one now, it’s comforting knowing that each of them are still there in one way or another. it’s wonderful to meet you, kya!

I just wanted to say thank you Kya for your honesty when talking about your sexuality. I really struggle with my sexuality but I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that I am asexual. Thanks to you and the way you talk about being asexual in such a normal and natural way, I feel like it’s not wrong or inhuman to not have sexual desires.

OMG!! As soon as I started watching the video I was able to notice Kyle accent and some of his manners. I can also hear Nin's laugh! Once you confirmed you are an integration of both I started crying!! I felt happy and sad at the same time. Happy because I know this is a huge step for recovery and for the system, and sad because of course I loved Nin and Kyle. In any case, I am so excited and happy for you Kya, you look much more confident and I love how you give use of your body. I am looking forward to get to know you as you are also finding yourself in this new path. I think it's very disrespectful when people say stuff like "I miss Kyle" or "I miss Nin" (and so on). Integration is a part of healing and we should be proud and happy that the system is feeling just a little bit better. Keep going with your healing journey
Kyle once said he missed Chloe... but if a system itself is saying it, it's way different from parasocial 'loss'.
While I agree to some respect... People's feelings are also still valid. I think it would be incredibly disrespectful to say "I wish Kyle were still around." Acknowledge the feelings and move along. The healing is a good thing and those who are watching and missing the integrated alters SHOULD want what is best for the whole. Just my opinion...
I think it's normal to miss them, it's called having normal emotions. People who hear for the first time will definitely feel a bit of loss, but they are also glad to see Kya and see how he goes on.
It's another thing if people are saying it to compare or just to be rude and mean. But overall there's nothing wrong with missing them.
I dunno, whilst it can invalidate Kya and the system we should remember Kyle and Nin were real people too- fully fledged alters in their own right. It's valid to miss people who come and go in your life- even parasocial relationships are still relationships (as long as we respect they are one sided and have realistic expectations.) I'm excited to meet Kya and I think it's great their whole system is healing, but I still really enjoyed Kyle and his genuine down-to-earth-ness and presence he had in videos. I will miss Kyle. He was a great guy and as a fluid person I think he really helped me accept dysphoria and things years before I was able to see who I was. Kya seems amazing and I'm excited to see more of them, but I think I can like her and welcome her and still miss Nin and Kyle (and Chloe and Nina) at the same time, just like any of us might miss old friends, or even people we love pre-transition or maybe for parents they miss their kids when they were little even though they love their adult kids now kind of thing.

As a recently integrated host, it’s so reassuring hearing someone talk positively on integration without pushing for final fusion! I am the result of our old host and an alter who experienced the majority of our trauma. It’s been so strange and has had so many ups and downs after integrating.
P.s. we have central heterochromia in real life! Dark gray with brown around our iris :)
I heard that DID can change your physiology. If that's true then has there ever been a case where your heterochromia has changed slightly or significantly from switches?

It’s interesting to find out that Kyle had been hiding information about the subsystems from both Chloe and Nin, but it must’ve been absolutely necessary and important he do so, especially if trauma related. When you said that people would miss Kyle, i told my partner about the integration, and he answered "it's an evolved Kyle, the evolutionary form now named Kya" and i think that was kinda funny, how when alters merge, they kinda evolve and become someone new but is also still the same :) I think it's a very cute analogy

I always found Kyle's Essex accent really calming, and I hear a lot of it in Kya's voice too, as well as Nin. I'm glad I can hear the evidence that the alters aren't gone, just combined 😊

I'm not one for parasocial vibes but honestly I started crying tears of joy when Kya started describing themselves. You could see the strength. I do not know you but I am very proud of you and truly happy to see you healing.
Something Id be interested in hearing about is how you perceive time. You have memories from 3 separate perspectives all occurring simultaneously. It'd be interesting to learn about how that affects your perception of your past chronologically.

I feel like something that helps show someone truly has D.I.D is when there's alters integrated together and you hear the multiple mixtures of accents and more and hints or other bits of the accents, it shows they really have D.I.D because no one can do that incredibly difficult ways to keep such mixes of accents together forever without mistakes, you can't fake it like that easily, it's from what I've heard is so difficult basically impossible to

I can see SO much of Kyle in Kya but (and this is gonna sound a little weird, stay with me haha) in the way a child reminds you of their parents ya know? Also I love how confident in themselves Kya is!! Cause due to integration, Kya has some of the experiences of Nin, Nina, Chloe and Kyle and its made them such a strong individual :) So nice to meet you babes

I have two fictional characters that I very much relate to and every time I read a scene between the two it's like reading a conversation between me and me and it's strange but sometimes it can be nice for self-love reasons like when I feel like shit I just focus more on the side of me that's one of them and picture what the other character would say to cheer me up, maybe that could help you, too
I do something similar to that with my fictional comfort characters! :)
Sometimes I’ll have daydreams where I visualize the character talking how I know they would talk, but because I’m the one thinking about it some of my own personality and humor is in there too. It’s a very interesting experience to be aware that I’m just talking to myself in my brain, but my brain is also mimicking this other characters personality that isn’t fully my own. Plus I’m able to track along with the conversion as if it’s actually happening irl, but I’m still consciously aware it’s just my imagination

Whoa! This is actually a very therapeutic way to kind of build our inner dialogue, even as people with fully integrated identities. I know sometimes it feels like one part of me can overpower everything else and having those inner voices modeled through fiction working together is very reassuring.
Sometimes when I beat myself up in my head I start to write my thoughts down and then with a different pen write an answer that's loving and calm. Like "I'm a mess, I have so much stuff to do, I can't do anything today." could be answered with "It's okay, just breathe for now, then try to organize, you're doing your best."
It's helpful for me.

Like I treated my anxious negative thought like they were a strangers, and I used my ability to empathize and be kind to stranger to cheer up this “stranger” that I was… if that makes sense? I basically talked to myself like I was a stranger, cause I often find it easier to be kinder to others than myself
Im so happy that kya is confident and happy! Seeing the systems changes over time has been pretty interesting and has helped me grasp a better understanding of DID

I started watching when you were still Chloe, and then how you integrated with Nina, and became Nin and now Kyle! It's so nice to meet you Kya, the name suits you so well. I love how you carry yourself, and just your mannerisms, they remind me of Kyle, the "There's a car, that's pretty rude dude" I laughed, just the way you said it, the way you reacted definitely reminded me of Kyle! but I also hear Nin too. You are literally glowing and you're just radiating so much confidence I love it!! My god. I cried while watching. It's so inspiring to see you as Kya. To see your confidence and how you're getting a little more whole and in control (gosh, I hope that does not sound offensive). The fact that it is possible for you to heal and move on despite the repeated traumatic situations is incredibly inspiring.
I've recently finished my own cycle of therapy and the finishing of it caught me by surprise, because all in all the life conditions were pretty tough at that moment. It was just so strange - suddenly realizing that I can deal with all that on my own now.
Seeing you grow and change has reminded me how much I have grown myself. I can relate to that missing your previous self to certain point (I mean, I don’t have DID, so I'll probably never be able to fully understand the feeling). Sometimes I find myself missing me-before-therapy. Which always feels so strange, because I fully understand that I'm so much stronger and confident now, but that little traumatised girl will probably always stay in my heart.
Anyways, thank you so much for sharing. I'm really glad to see you and your system back here on UA-cam ❤️

I love that Kya has Kyle’s calm confidence. There was a comfort in watching Kyle speak and Kya has it too. Through all the videos I’ve seen I have never seen the system seem so comfortable in their skin, or at a sort of peace. No one has everything together, and I can imagine that having such trauma only makes it harder, but it genuinely feels like Kya has moved in a great direction and is in a much better place with themselves and everything else than where we last saw Nin. I’ve been so worried for the system as I’m sure many of us have. I’m so happy to see this video. I wish you all nothing but the best and hope to see more from you all in the future ❤️
How are Sally and Nadia doing? I haven’t seen mention of them in a while. I’d also love to hear more about the subsystem you’ve just become aware of, if you’re comfortable sharing about that!
i get the feeling they might not be, hence the fagueness of their mentioning it. I guess it's an extremely private part of them that Kyle was keeping secret for a reason, and something they need to explore on their own first. Maybe sometime further down the line they'll be more confortable explaining it further. :)

Had been wondering what happened if Kyle's memories were made accessible to the host, all that trauma and awareness, but then Jade is good at her job. It's amazing to see how wonderfully complex the brain is in order for the body to survive. And Kya seem to be very much stronger than Nin was and I'm so glad to have witnessed this as a follower.
Kind of crazy to realize that you had a fusion of the host and main protector around the same time we did. It's cool to see the changes we experienced also be experienced by you.

Same here ... Our previous host and main protector fused in 2021, and it's been pretty quiet in the internal world ever since. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I do miss everyone...

@@trinityraine. Yes exactly, I feel the same way. It can be very, very confusing at times and I really wish I had friends along either spectrum, too. The friends who I’m out to try, but I know it’s really difficult for them to understand. Being able to sit down and talk with someone who you can see yourself in and relate to is a WHOLE other experience. It’s just so validating, you know? And yet so hard to come by! I really hope Kya makes a video on it sometime in the future!
Yes it's hard to figure out when it's so different from what you've been exposed to all your life. Not to mention all the other types of attraction. It's a journey for sure!

as someone who dont have DID its so bizzare to see someone become a blend of two people. like seeing both kyle and nin at the same time is kinda cool. you look more comfortable than kyle did and more pensive than nin did. hope youre all doing well now
I feel so much confidentity and so much strength in every single one of your words Kya. Thanks to every single one of you, no matter who doesn't appears anymore or who is new, I was able to enter in a healing phase after 10 years of dissasters and child trauma. I am thankful to see that It's not just me that is healing thanks to you guys but even the whole system is healing and I see such a huge improvement from 2019. I love you all guys so much I'm glad you guys are handling there and evolving.

I just came here from seeing the video of an interview with Nin and Kyle. My first impression upon seeing Kya now was, "Wow, she gives off a much more confident and mature vibe." It's heartening to see the growth you've gone through.

Please keep in mind that your other alters shouldn’t be used as fictional characters in a show like someone else said it here. Honestly, it means to me that you’re growing more stronger. What matters is that your mind is becoming stronger. Your other alters are unique because they’re all their own persons. I have a lot more to say, but my point is don’t feel guilty at all for this integration. As a matter of fact, your channel is really educating me on DID, and I’m still learning about it. As someone exploring my asexuality, learning it's such a varied spectrum and finding where I fit has been so validating; being ace and hypersexual makes a lot of sense. There are so many ways someone experiences their Ace/Aro orientation, and all of them are valid. . Since discovering/accepting this part of myself I've felt so free and am able to understand my relationships with people on such a deeper level. Learner here; if I may ask, how does one identify as ace and also be hypersexual at the same time? It sounds like two opposite ends of a spectrum to me so I'm confused

@@dizzylbnt It's the difference between sexual attraction (desire for a specific person) and libido (sex drive and desire for sex in general). A person can have a desire for sex or sexual feelings without feeling sexually _attracted_ to anyone in particular. There are lots of relationships - sexual, romantic, platonic - that can exist on both the asexual and aromantic spectrums! The lack of attraction is the key thing to the identity. (Not speaking for Kya specifically here, just as an aroace person)

Big question for Kya: I'm assuming/asking that Nin was unaware of some trauma, or was she not? Was that a difficult thing for the fuse/integration, or because of Kyle being a primary protector did it make it easier/a bit easier?
Or was there no awareness for Nin, at all since the amnesia walls were there for a reason because how DID works, until you were the result?

Well nin was a merge between Chloe and Nina, who was a sexual protector so they knew of at least some trauma.
@@thisgirl643 I’m aware of how Nin came to be, however because DID puts amnesia as a safety measure and I understand that Nin did have awareness of some trauma that the system endured, but that wasn’t my question “like if this was Nin’s first possible time realizing trauma?” No you misunderstood, she was aware of trauma any previous videos Nin was clear to have awareness of some trauma in the body.
Kya literally said in the video they have some recollection, but Jade took a lot of other memories and trauma. That being said, when Nin became, there were still things possible for her to not hold or recollect outside of what Chloe and Nina had, or even some trauma Nina held could possibly be withheld from Nin, since it was for Kya.
obviously system communication maybe Nin learned some of them in other aspects or because of the fuse/integration.
My original point is they’re all holding things that could possibly be separated from the other because that’s what the amnesia does, including between Kyle and Nin (unless communicated together) that’s what I was asking how was that process was there anything and was it hard for her or Kyle, was there even awareness between the process? Was it hard for Kya? Did the awareness only come once it was Kya fully, or was it when Kyle and Nin were still in the process?
Especially since Kyle has been there since the system was a child, that’s a lot of knowledge that’s a lot of strength, growth, and understanding of oneself, and the system that’s a BIG fuse/integration for the system and the person fronting the most.

Kya seems to have taken Kyle's confidence and Nun's quiet strength and compounded them. Kya here is almost intimidating. He/She said that it's a step in the healing process so I'm very happy for them even if in some ways it's a bittersweet victory.
Hi, Kya, I’m happy you decided to keep sharing part of your life with us, I’ve learned a lot since I started to watch your videos, even about mental health issues other then DID.
Also, I love your cat, I have 7 myself and I’m a proud to say I spoil them a lot. Oriented by my vet, I stopped putting bells on my cats collars, because long term use can even be detrimental in the process pf the cat loosing hearing accuracy and even deafness. Now days, there are even collars sold with a built in locator or wifi and bluetooh tags witch can locate your cat inside de house - I now that can be expensive, but I guess it’s worth it, especially if you don’t have many cats. In my case I just have enough so at least one of them are within mu sight at all times LOL
