This time it's MH4U hunt.
Gogmazios is one of my favorite monster to hunt in MH4U, although this hunt is not my best time but I'm satisfied with the epic ending XD

Soloing this massive beast was one of my favorite accomplishments. Only topped by my completion of the Master’s Test and the event version of Crimson Fatalis, affectionately named Super Crimson.
i never finished mh4u, took it out of the shelf, played and got to this guy, this vid was a huge help to learn his moves, and having no access to all equipment i found myself doing a shagaru glaive with no honing, armor set of dragon attack +3 plus sharpness and razos sharp. After a few failed attempts i killed it and also finished around 30 min mark, it's pretty satisfying how all that farming made me strong enough to take on this guy !

I'm an IG Main on Iceborne and holy crap, one thing I've learned from this video that I need to learn is Time Management with the Kinsect buffs. You definitely are an expert with the Glaive and this kinda makes me want to play 4U. Awesome video
Yeah, a double buff can be "refilled" any time but the triple buff cannot (you must wait for it to expire), so when the triple's starting to run out NOW is the time to send the bug out to get the red buff, then wait until the buff expires to recall it.
I recently soloed Gogmazios in MH4U. CB, clear time was about 48m30s or so. We landed maybe four mounts, Dragonated him at least four times (no Demolisher ammo) ... even the game cart glitching and wiping my save file (all 700 solo hours of it) couldn't spoil the mood.

I still attempt Gogmazios from time to time (I need that rare drop) and just last week had one of the most random saves: I have my armor set tweaked for Sticky Res, and at one point I'm cornered against a wall when Gog starts pooling his tar laser right next to me. CRAP. But then a random glob of tar lands on me RIGHT at the last second, so I'm in the middle of a tripping animation when the attack detonates so I get away with *no damage.*
...Still didn't get the rare drop though. (sigh)

@@thatguyintherain3168 I did have two Palicoes at my side, but yes it was in solo mode.
Great video, very educational! As an IG main, it helps to see such high level play with my favorite weapon. If I don't beat Gog within a couple more attempts, I might just take a long break from the game. I'm honestly getting fed up with the ridiculously OP monsters in G3, not really looking forward to G special... Gog in particular is not "hard" for me, it's just his obscene health bar that pisses me off. On my last attempt, I get to 48 minutes in and I triple cart from hyper beam...
My last attempt, 48 minutes in with 2 carts, we've broken every part of Gog that can be broken and I'm taking every free moment to check my Quest Info for the exact time, saying to myself "at 60s I'm ending via subquest" ... then those words MAIN OBJECTIVE COMPLETE appear on the screen.

Yep, and also with Gore Magala being in GU and Nergigante using Gore Magalas skeleton, I'm hoping that Gore gets added to World in May

+Eric Klimek, by default you can't. I was using skill called Mushromancer (Mycology +10) that allow me to eat mushrooms.

@@thehulk86 that's the star knight set, it's pretty op for IG especially, the weapon is a relic, presumably a really op one, it has dragon elemet and purple sharpness (see video), the raw and crit i have no clue tho.
thehulk86 the weapon is definitely a gore Magala weapon
@@meatvortexgaming7134 Its a Gore Magala Relic. If you are unaware 4U had a system where you could find shards in the everwood (the freeroam zone) which you could polish to uncover very rare and powerfull armorpieces and weapons. Its pretty RNG, but if you are lucky you can get some borderline broken stuff.

I dont know if it was because of the people with me but i actually found gogmazios quite easy, im saying this because i've seen some people say it was hard
Yeah, it's perfectly doable even if we're 2. But solo it's annoying. Doable too, but really hard and annoying.

With gog, it's only a solo without cats
Not that big of a deal, really. I soloed him with and without cats. They don’t do much against him at all.
Heck, I soloed the masters test and event Super Crimson with and without cats. It really doesn’t matter.
Sigh why u hax? Or cheat in some other way? Man the cart doesn't move to demolisher spot on its own. You did something behind the scenes and I'm on to you. I killed it no cats on my own with 9 seconds left and ik there will be faster but that wasn't moved by you. Anyone else notice this? If so, say something because I don't enjoy hackers bragging. Not at all.

I’ve been meaning to go back to Four Ultimate. I need to re-solo the end game bosses just to remind myself I can. I’ve soloed Gog, Event Super Crimson, Shah Dalalmadur, White Fatalis, and of course I’ve beaten the Master’s Test.

Mh4u is basically my first mh game (excluding mh portable 3 in the psp when I was too young to understand how to play it). I had a 3DS as a gift and in it were pirated games about 3 years ago. One of which was mh4u, and because it's pirated, it's always been limited to offline play and that's where my solo journey and real mh experience began.
My next goal and probably end goal now is gogmazios, after this I'll consider this game finished (not exactly ik.) and move on to mhgu where online play actually is available.
Anyway, did you solo gog with rank appropriate gear? Cause that's all I have due to not being able to go online. I've finally just finished the sega sega ra set and I'm going to solo him with ig just to make it easier (GS main) with the anubis glaive honed for attack with extract extender kinsect. Is this viable? Cause Le Miracle is locked behind a GQ and they were never an option since its online required.
What weapon and set did you use?
What's your routine in the gog solo fight? What's your kill time? Do you just go for the head or the tail and legs because those are weaker to raw and cutting according to kiranico?
I haven't given the gog fight a full go yet because I've been afraid to waste my time and failing in vain despite having baibai kaiser already with cera cymmetry. I grinded for Segasega and the anubis ig just for this fight. Are they actually both equally as viable either way?
Really sorry for the long msg. Hope you could help a fellow hunter out. Any advice would really help from a veteran. Would really appreciate it! :)
P.S. Going to really give the gog fight a real try soon either way!

What was your time on Crimson Fatty? Mine was somewhere arround the 10-15-20 minute mark iirc when i soloed him. Also my best Gogmazios time (that is the super gogmazios from the scrolls) is somewhere arround 30-35 minutes
