Karpata I did. Hard as hell, but it's way more enjoyable fighting Lagiacrus underwater. It was MEANT to be a primarily underwater monster. Green Plesioth was a fucking asshole though.

I was surprised how fast I finished this quest using the same skills. I used athena and got miralis and vangis coil and talisman potential +1 ooo. thanks for this video
Thanks, I'm not the best lancer but the blocking really does help against abyssal and I agree the glitch is no fun it takes longer anyway. Just keep trying you'll get it in no time.
S+1 would be slightly better yes but I couldn't be bothered making a set specifically for this guy. I just used my general purpose set with a few tweaks. Although it would also be better to use the Ala lance instead since it has natural purple.
Ramboz666 Isn't using your regular set way better than one made specifically for him? I for one took a long time to get used to other sets after changing from an Evasion + one. I don't see how maybe 2 minutes less in a fight would make that huge of a deal compared to the trouble it would take to both farm for the stuff(2 Skyswayers and one Azure Dragonsphire is just great) and using it(I can see how one would have trouble without Guard+2). Your video is good,period.
How did you get that lance to have the dragon element. I'm currently trying to make one but I realized that it has no dragon element. People kept saying that you have to use the awakening skill to get the element, but you seem to have without the skill.
Going to argue with you, solo - I Will say you didn't just because of followers. They to me made the game easier (due to my friends always dieing) a good game will go faster with friends but... only winning 25-60% of the time can be time consuming. and now with MH4U... well I lost a game 7 times in a row with 4 man teams just because nobody knows how to run jump for invulnerability on one shot moves. know what its like watching 3 people getting one shot and your the ranger with no armor? lol
It's not a solo if you have Cha Cha with you. I hunted (Fell the Lagiacrus) in my first attempt with Cha Cha. I tried it again without Cha Cha and I beat him after my 10th attempt or so. See the difference?

Am I the only person that actually enjoyed underwater combat and the swimming mechanic in general?
Swimming was pretty goodl, fight underwater monsters was really hard and funny, this monsters in land are pure shit now xD
I also loved it just hated the part were i shoukd cut veards and beards
I like concept of underwater combat in MH tri though I think it could use improvement.
No, I enjoyed it too. I would like for it to return. I have MHXX on the switch and just fought Royal Ludroth, it just isn't fun on land.

Tryin to farm the Hardhorn and S.Zin Skymerald so I can try this out.
I ended up making the set and squeezing in Dragon Attack 1 just for shits and giggles. I had a guard +5 dragon atk +8 talisman
The lance's upward stabs actually do slightly more damage than the regular ones, FYI

Wouldn't Sharpness +1 be better than Au(L),or go for Guard +1 and try to get Edgemaster?

The stygian gunlance needs awakening but the regular lance has element naturally.
