The RAPTOR perch

Raptors and other birds are gathering here. Some spent close to an hour preening right in front of the camera, like this Northern Harrier. There are some pretty scary danger calls in there too. The prairie dogs below this perch know very well what such a big bird is up to. The video ends with an incredible few seconds of wind storm, in which it looks like the whole ground lifts up.

A gorgeous group of raptors and birds. One hawk looked to be a juvenile, getting adult feathers.
