Its interesting how they are both talking about homeschooling! Usually its just the mothers and not the fathers involved. I like how they thinking outside the box
I was homeschooled for a large portion of my life and they were the best years! This video is so sweet! To see the commitment you both have to your girls is beautiful! It reminds of my parents and how they were and still are committed to their children’s well-being

I loved this episode! I definitely do agree that some children do better when they are homeschooled. Some students learn at different paces so it’s hard as a teacher to be able to cater to each individual child and their needs. My mom had to actually pull my brother out of traditional school and homeschool him for a few years because he wasn’t doing well, even when she got tutors for him. So she decided to quit her full time job as a registered nurse and went part time so that she could teach him herself because no one knows your child better than you as a parent. My mom did that until his senior year of high school and made him go back so that he could experience prom and all that senior year has to offer. If she didn’t do that, I believe he would have maybe dropped out because of the difficulty he was having. Thank you for sharing your homeschool journey with us and I can’t wait to see what a day in the life of homeschooling looks for you! 💕

The takeaway I take from your video is that even though I might not be able to homeschool because of the cost and my time is dependent on a job. There's room for education in every moment from cleaning together to enjoying a stroll around the park. Respect the youth and motivate learning. Your kids are very lucky!
This a BEAUTIFUL video.. It brought tears to my eyes. My daughter is currently in kindergarten but during the pandemic, I had a chance to spend a year and half home with her and the report from her teacher was if I didn't tell her she NEVER attended school she wouldn't know. Education/learning starts at home. I am really enjoying the channel thank you for inviting us into your world. very refreshing❤

We do what we are taught. It takes strength and faith to do things a totally different way! It’s beautiful. Giving your children a chance to learn with life. Learning is interactive and intentional. Thank you for this video. So encouraging.

Claude please be my big sister, I feel so understood because my daughter is only 10months and I’ve decided that I want to homeschool because I feel like it would be so beneficial for my kids to learn at home and also we get to be with her parents and family most.

Thank you....its important for me that my kids learn their mother language Shona.Here in Zim people think knowing English is the thing.yet kids can be bilingual and nothing is wrong with that.

As a public school administrator, I am so inspired by this. I applaud you all for curating (perfect word) a curriculum that was perfect for Jet. Thinking to myself “how can I curate those experiences for students that don’t have this opportunity?” LOVVVVVE that Jet is bilingual!!!

I am such a a big advocate of homeschooling. I will never forget the day I met one of my friends in college. Not only was he the most brilliant person EVER, I was so jealous of how comfortable he was in his own skin. He was always a joy to be around and he couldn't care less what anyone thought of him. For someone who struggles with low self-esteem and is working with her therapist to become more assertive and unlearn so much of the garbage I learned in school because of bullying, you have no idea how I much I value his qualities. I think you're doing such a great job with your girls. I can see it just in the confidence they have to express their points of view. It's really such a beautiful thing to see. 😍🙏🏾

I was a Financial Manager at a Steiner/ Waldorf School and your way of homeschooling is basically what the Steiner curriculum is. The gentle Flow of Life instead of the Anxiety related to "Traditional School Schedules". Absolutely incredible.

I'm in South Africa and homeschooling is such a far concept to even incorporate in our lives. As it stands my 2 boys go to private school and I am not too sure how sustainable that will be the way things are going in this world. I really wonder if changing them to homeschooling in their high school years would be beneficial to them. I love the aspect of freedom, the unlearning of our current social constructs, the independence and the coming into your own, the out of the box approach that can be incorporated in anything they do in life makes me really happy and those are things that I hope to apply in my own children. Claude and hubby, you are phenomenal and this is the content I wish to see more of and LOVE consuming! I am so grateful for you both!
I homeschooled all four of my kids for a little over 20 years. Two of our daughters got into college on full rides. This June we will be celebrating our first college grad. Praise God!!!! She's a double major, currently 4th in her graduating class. Our second daughter will be graduating next year, she's also a double major. Our third daughter decided to take a gap year, but she's working and thriving. Our youngest is a boy (yes, we finally had the boy) he tested into high school at 13, and he wanted to attend mainstream high school. We reluctantly allowed it because we felt it was really important to him. As a Latino in a predominately all-white private school, we were a bit worried. I wish I could say his experience has been all amazing, but the reality is that within the first 3 weeks of starting school he was being bullied by an 18-year-old jock. He didn't tell us anything because he thought we would take him out of the school. Thank God, other kids reported the bullying. Needless to say, we didn't take him out of the school. We dealt with the issue and the school did as well. Apparently, the bully admitted to targeting our son because he was "too polite". Whatever his reasons were, we knew that this was an opportunity to empower our son with the tools necessary to survive in this cruel world. He has impressed us with how he handled himself. Homeschooling when done well is a blessing and an honor. I know it's a privilege not too many have, but I want to encourage those who think they don't have the resources. We did it on one income, and many prayers. We didn't take vacations every year and we didn't have all the luxuries we could have had, but the Lord always provided for everything. There were sacrifices we made, but in the end it was worth it. Do your research, do the math and go in faith. Si se puede!

Traditional school is so scary now!! It was so fun, safe, good, hard ,awkward etc in the 70s -90 s!! Home schooling is the way to go!!
My husband & I took our boys out of public school when the pandemic happened, the policies they were having was way too much. They were in 6th and kindergarten. We were not sure how everything will turn out. We're from NY as well and don't know anyone else around us who homeschool, so I had to do my research. We took a leap of faith & just went for it! now we are two years in and absolutely love the freedom of it and how much we are able to learn together. I'm so grateful. Great video. God bless 🙏❤️

I know this episode is about Homeschooling but I have to be honest; the biggest take away for me is how graceful this couple is. They exemplify a modern day healthy culture in a marriage and partnership. I can see they both are very involved and are head strong. Wow thank you so much for this! It clarifies so many questions I had in regard to homeschooling. I’m pregnant with my first, my first language was also Spanish and I have always wanted to pass that down to my children and homeschooling has always been something I’ve wanted to do when I have children but I don’t know anyone who homeschools their children. So this really give me a lot of direction and understanding that it does not need to be done in a traditional school type way which is wonderful cause the way I envisioned homeschooling is very much in the way it seems that your girls are homeschooled.

Thank you for covering everything in your experience, and for talking about the misconceptions. I know a lot of people my age who were homeschooled, and I see the benefits are never ending, so I know that the benefits that your girls will reap as they get older will be endless. Some of my friends that have been homeschooled have pushed me to want to homeschool my kids in the future, and this amounted to that desire. My friends have done absolutely amazing in college! Also I want to say I respect the fact that you give them the choice to choose! … thank you.

This video opened my eyes to the homeschooling world. I was in traditional public school and so was my fiancé, my oldest was in public school until the last year recently. We decided to homeschool. I’ve been stuck in that rut of being worried is he learning enough because he’s not “in school” from 9-4. It’s because I’m trapped in that box that I’m so used too! EYE OPENING! I love this! I used to teach at a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool. I have a plan for a nature school in the future. I think a love of learning is so important and I love how y'all found your way.
