Annette is more eloquent and coherent in telling her life story than most sober people. Quotable insights from beginning to end. Wonder what that mind could do if it could get past all the pain. Clearly a diamond in the rough.

You clearly have no idea how crack works on some people. Uppers can actually calm the mind making it easier to communicate. I’m tired of the ignorance when it comes to drugs. Do some research and stop assuming you know what you’re talking about. Not all drugs make you drool and act like a maniac dummy.

The violence and dysfunction in many African American families goes directly back to the plantation. This culture of violence didn't stop when these people walked away from plantations. It was passed down like a recipe for gumbo. What you see with many black people is the mimicking of the brutality they experienced at the hands of overseers and Slave owners. This kind of dysfunction rarely exists in African families from the continent. God Bless this woman.

It teaches others what not to do and what comes with this particular lifestyle. Some of these same addicts talk about God and how they believe God is the only one who can help them overcome. For example Mark did another interview with a young lady name Savannah who was a crack addict. Savannah talked about God and her relationship with him while being an addict.

Her body really does look phenomenal. She looks like a ballet dancer and a extraordinary jazz, blues and r& b singer. I was hanging on her every word because what she said about love and people are so true. She also looks like she could easily be a teacher because she told her story with such passion that you could imagine in your mind everything she said. I envisioned the big house and maids and her mother naked walking down the street. It must have been torture for her mother not knowing who her mom was. Her mother didn't know how to be a mom because she never knew hers. That's so sad to go through your whole life like that. Please Mark have a part 2 with Annette. She is one lady I will never forget. Lots of wisdom here! So much strength it’s admirable. I’m so sorry for her suffering. No child should ever go through such horrific ordeals. I wish her all the healing, peace love and health possible. There’s something really warm and loving about her. I really enjoyed listening to the way she told her story.

Annette, I can't imagine the childhood you endured....I really really, hope and pray you get clean and get to experience some True happiness in life after all of that and see sometimes, life Can be good...to all these "parents" who don't protect your children, something is waiting on. YOU too, because children are to be protected, nurtured and cherished, NOT enduring a hellish existence which sets them on a lifetime of painful choices trying to find love. Take care of yourself, beautiful soul, I wish you well ❤️😥💔

I’ve been in similar situations as far as the SA, as she shared, and theyve definitely affected me for many years. I’ve had to chip away at them slowly over the years, and I’m hoping that when her memories pop up, she is chipping away at them also. What I found so interesting is how she could tell the story of what her brother did like it didn’t happen to her, but when she started speaking of her life with her husband the tears welled in her eyes, it’s like the hurt was still fresh. she is a skilled storyteller.
