      In most situations and circumstances in life, theres always more than one element that affect the end results. What do you tell the parents that did their best, was there all way, and their kids still took the wrong path? What do you say to the kids whose parents was never the best, struggled to grow up, but they made it and are great people in society?

    When she broke down speaking about how she missed her mom and seeing her father treating the other kids better than she was treated, it broke my heart. I could barely watch it. She hid her sadness pretty well up until that point. We never know how badly ppl are hurting. The loss of the close family unit is such a tragedy. God bless this woman.

      I agree with you. The mother probably had no means to support her children so she let them go with their father. It was probably the worst day of her whole life. The loss of a family unit that they all hoped for crushed by the father making thoughtless choices 😢

    Sex workers are the most tell-it-like-it-is people I have ever spoken too, off the clock. Everything she said is 100% on-point but most people miss it. The fact she was able to get out after two years as young as she is says a lot about her inner strength.
    I’m guessing she stacked her money, and had an exit plan, and maybe managed to eschew addiction. Maybe her daughter was the catalyst. She must have a pretty good therapist as well; at least I hope she does. She’s got a long road ahead of her as a mom as well as a woman. I wish her well.

    • @egregiousqueef7781
      @egregiousqueef7781 2 роки тому +34

      Or maybe she doesn't need therapy; it's a common - and often degrading - misconception that all humans who enter into sex work have an underlying mental health issue; this is true for some but not all. It's hard to get out of abject poverty and toxic circumstances.
      Social services are poorly funded and understaffed so - if you value your existence which she clearly does - you do what you must for your own survival. You may not like at at first but if you have no co-occuring mental health/addiction issues it simply becomes a jumping off point, a way to get quick cash even if it doesn't square with your values, it is simply one step toward a larger long term goal.
      I commend both the women/men who've gotten out of it and those who opt into it knowing the consequences and risks but still maintain a level head - their body, their choice; self-proprietorship via the body. Nothing wrong with that (though society currently is a little too puritanical to understand that sex work is indeed okay)

      Sex workers don’t tell it like it is they just run their mouth…so many on here just lie constantly. Like her; she claims she made so much and saved her money but now she works at Golden Corral and was almost evicted during corona. What does she have? Two cars lol

    • @BattleBladeWarrior
      @BattleBladeWarrior 2 роки тому +7

      Yeaa, I'm really proud of her for that. A lot of the women that do this don't have an exit strategy and end up used and abused by the end. Hope things go well for her, as she seems very intelligent.
      Hearing what her dad did though, cheating on his wife, then dragging her outside and beating her, what a peace of sh*t move. Its so sad that women stay with men like that, and even more so how often the system fails families like this.

    This interview had me engaged the whole time. She is intelligent and can articulate her story very well.

      Gus Bus if I can recall correctly a prostitute was paid by some guy to watch him have sex with a dog. I can’t remember if it was the dog to the guy or the guy to the dog.

    It's so sad how many of us probably had/have fathers and exes just like the ones she described. I hope she finds the means to heal

      @punchout statistically there are more deadbeat dads than moms. Calm yourself. Just cause you have issues with your mom doesnt mean everyone does. The story was about her father. Not someone mother. Why do men always need to insert unrelated information into every discussion about men needing to DO BETTER.
