I know this video is about the van we both have but can you show us your fence in the background I think it looks amazing we want to do something similar around our retaining wall. Thanks in advance! ✌🏾
They have like hard shell material shelf type thing you could put behind the seats too in the main back to give more storage space! Also love when you opened the door right after Adam put the soap on the car 🤣
We've had a nv since 2014 and still like it, not love it , but still like it we also are a family of 9. Kids ages 17,14,13,10,7,4, 6 months plus myself and my husband. Edit: Be weary for the rear blower motor!! They have a whole Facebook page about Nissan and the rear blower motor and resistor. You have to take it to the dealer to get it fixed bc it's not accessible for us regular folk. $500
Sure, since I have alot of kids I normally have alot of groceries, I normally take my kids with me to pick up groceries ( since it takes to long to shop and now esp with covid-19 I don't allow my kids to come into the store) anyhow the trunk space is very minimal. And I could take out a seat or 2 however I need those for my kids. 2nd the air vents in the other rows aren't good at blowing air unless it's on high
@@anthonycurry7885 not unless you have like a barn type garage. Or there is this guy on UA-cam you took off a piece of his garage, he called it a diy hack. And then his van fit. But other that that, nope it doesn't
Haha the kids are funny 😂 we have our 5th on the way. Where thinking about this van. We have a 36 ft camper. We pull our camper with a dually now so my wife worries about this not being able to handle it
We are hopeful to add a camper to this beast next year. There is a group on Facebook called Nissan NV Families that has a lot of great advice and lots of families seem to tow them just fine. I guess it comes down to the weight of yours. We are LOVING the space in this van! We have never camped in a travel trailer- only our epic tent camping trip in Acadia (see the 19 hours in a car video on here -yikes) that gave us the nudge to get a van with more space. We are trial running a camper experience next week though and think we are going to love it! We loved camping, but all the tent gear along with all the kids was a lot haha!
@@thehawksfamilynest5654 that is awesome. Our trailer is a mpg 3100nh. It's 7k 9 k full. You'll love it when you guys get your trailer . Just be careful with what you pick out. Ours is decent but we've learned some brand are more durable. Check out the open range brand or grand design. Although ours has been ok
Just curious, did you look at the Chevy full size explorer van? I have a family of 7 and thinking about trading our suburban for a 9 passenger Chevy express explorer conversion van.
Family of 8 we were interested in buying a ford transit or a Nissan nv un decided watching your video Nissan looks good but the luggage or lack of it concerns me we are looking at an ford transit lot 15 passenger how does the Nissan compare on long trips
For a name: everybody knows that NV (envy) is a green monster. Of course you will be asked why you call it The Green Monster, when it's black. Tell them it depends on your viewing angles. Then you can laugh as they walk around it trying to see green.
Good van, but not as great as described in a video. 3500 model rides like an antique tractor if you dont remove rubber suspension weight supporters in between rear axle and a frame! My semi truck has a better turning radious then my nv3500. You will feel claustrophobic by seating in the far back seats and have van full. Rear seats doesnt recline or fold and super heavy to remove. Van does look ugly if you compaire it to a sprinter, ford or dodge van. Sound system is horrible, I got mine upgrated to JBL speakers, JBL amp and kicker sub under front pass seat. Had to take interior apart and add dynamat xtreme noise damping system that I purchased from crutchfield for $140 / 38 s.f. I believe to keep the road noise down and to get ried of an empty pepsi can feel. Does not come with remote start, entertainment centers DVDs screens or driver speaks into rear speaker system. Van only comes with 4 safety air bag system, 2 in the front and 2 long bags in a roof, one on each side! Does not offer sunroofs. Center rear view mirror is worthless because you cant really see anything in it especially when you have passengers, but side mirrors and good sized and extends for wider towing trailers. Does not offer automatic side close door. Does not offer rear automatic doors. Had to install the bug shield/hood protector on the front of the hood so wife can see where this super long hood ends to prevent hitting things. Entry steps doesnt come stock, and its impossible for kids to climb in without them, Amazon had good alluminum that were priced around $280? Rear seats has no arm rests. It is a gas sucker if you compaire it to a sprinter, diesel ford van or eco boost expedition or new diesel Escalade. Does not offer roof luggage railing. Does not offer push start button. Does not offer xenon lights or rain sensor for wipers. Center arm rest is strait from a cheap cargo van, that feels cheap, looks ugly and uncomfortable. I actually had mine wrapped in soft leather to match the seats. Only has one window in the back that can be opened from the bottom at about 2 inches from the van body, in which I believe is an emergency exit as well. Definitely not worth what its sold for! For The Goods: it is a Japanese engendered and American made so it it reliable. Has much less options then any modern automobile meaning less parts to brake, but since its a Nissan it shouldn't brake anyways. Towing capacity. 12 passenger's van. On the frame. Has a titan, armada or the big infinity suv feel when driven...
WHY DON'T YOU TELL EVERYONE THAT THERE IS NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON THE NISSAN PASSENGER VANS AT ALL AND NO ONE CAN ANSWER A SIMPLE PART LOCATION FROM ANY ONE AT ANY NISSAN LOCATION INCLUDING ITS HEADQUARTERS, BUY A CHEVY OR GM!!!!!!!! I REGRET EVERY BUYING A NISSAN AND WILL NEVER BUY ONE AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Oh no, that stinks to hear you have had a terrible experience! We are in the Nissan NV Facebook group and have found tons of support there for things that may come up- so far so good though. I guess we all get those bad cars. I could yell obscenities all day about our history with GM, the warranty nightmares we have endured, the incredible rude customer support (lack of) we received trying to handle it when the motor went out under warranty in one of ours that we paid a small fortune to buy new so that would not happen.... We have had GM cars for my entire life. We still own a suburban. I think everyone's experiences vary and to each their own :)
🤣😂... ridin dirty! Cool video y'all. Love from Cali.

Cargo nets attached to ceiling provide lots of great storage for soft items.
Iam looking for a review of this van. And this vid is the best so far. Good job. Thanks
Good luck with your NV. If you take care of it. It will give you many years of trouble free service.
Nice family. Good luck.

Vertical space usage is wise!

Other than the front passenger seat, do the seats in back recline?
Hi, they do not recline. They can slide back to give more leg room, but that is it.
