@@SteeleStrifeone of my tips, get most of the bamboo strikes and hot springs, use stealth when possible (or don’t) and upgrade your katana (+tanto if you want faster stealth kills) “Where can i find iron?” iron can be found in mongol occupied bases and camps, there’s also a trapper in azamo bay (if you liberate it) which sells iron for 30 supplies. “I can’t find hot springs or bamboo strikes.” there’s a skill tree in the techniques about guiding light in the samurai section which will point you in the general direction of those areas “How can i use the guiding wind to guide me towards these locations?” open the map and in the bottom left corner, you should see an empty spot, press right on the d-pad and you will be prompted to select the areas you want the wind to guide you towards. you can also turn on aim assist for the bow in accessibility or gameplay and one of my biggest tips: Don’t panic, panicking when you’re low health will cause you to spam heal which can be bad and lead you into situations where you have no resolve, strategize your resolve uses. (this is coming from someone who played the game on hard and platinumed it)

3 tips stone stance the heavy’s break swordsman’s guards quicker and water stance breaks shields quicker. Blue attacks are able to be parried allowing for a counter red are not. Those question marks lead to bamboo strikes. Onsens/hot springs, haikus, pillars of honor, and haikus I recommend doing the hot springs bamboo strikes and shrines as fast as possible bamboo strikes increase ur resolve and the hot springs increase ur max health while the shrines give u wax wood and charms and one of them gives an op charm called mizu-no-Kami which makes perfect dodges, and parries have a bigger window allowing it to be easier to do.

Just a tip you can lock on enemies but it's turned off by default so to enable it just go to the gameplay sertings and find "target lock" and enable it, then you can lock onto enemies by pressing up on the dpad

@@IlikeForHonor I personally don’t use it because of how frequently you need to fight multiple enemies at the same time. I got used to playing the game before they put in the camera lock so I didn’t find it necessary. But it works like how any other camera lock does.
The formula to kill mongols: Use heavies until their stance breaks and then use light attacks for damage. Stone stance heavies do a lot of stance damage towards swordsmen. Water stance heavies do a lot of stance damage to shield men You can guess what the other stances do.
It's made to be enjoyed so you can feel like in real life it isn't like most game a they hit you 1 your death but you have to hit them 50 times to kill one like god of war or metal gear rising revenge
@@SteeleStrife glad I could help my friend. And check the settings to make sure you're in performance mode and not graphics so you might not even be running at 60fps. I know mine wasn't till I changed it. I even have my PS5 setting so everything runs on performance and mine was still set on graphics for GoT.
in my opinion the first thing you need to focus on is getting all the stances. the first one, Stone is best against swords. The second, Water is for shields. The third, Wind.. im not gonna spoil haha but they make the sword fighting amazing haha

YOU need to learn how to parry its the L1 button i nammed my horse nobu but then... alot easier when you know how to parry and can you do like hour long videos these feel wayy too short
Lethal mode sucks because all they did was make enemy weapons do more damage rather than all weapons doing more damage thus being equal and lethal at the same time. The first part of this game was awesome but it went downhill every hour
Brother no, it’s the opposite, games like the dark souls game make the enemy’s harder but not you stronger. In ghost of Tsushima you can kill stuff way faster but you have to be more precise or you’ll die in 2 hits. The reason ghost of Tsushima is so good is because it doesn’t do that.

There absolutely is a lock on, it was added later when Ghost dropped on the PS5 with the Iki expansion.
