Brilliant analysis, as usual from prof. Maersheimer. Where I doubt it is that he thinks history in a way will repeat itself with two bounded orders. But this is not the post WW2 world. You can now maybe decide which order brings the most benefit. And it's not guaranteed that the US will be a more attractive partner than China. They've caused an awful lot of economic, material and humanitarian destruction in the past decades and it doesn't look like that policy will fundamentally change.

Russia is the smallest of the great powers. They pursue an independent foreign policy, and they are leader of their region. They have various supporting smaller states such as central asian countries and caucasian countries. That makes them a great power. Color revolutions don’t lead to democracy 13:55
The intention is chaos, which can be managed by the higher power, to siphon off gain (often resources). It's divide-and-rule.

(Russian here). Correct. We also want a democracy, but USA want us to have a totally submissive democracy.

Yes maybe it will remain unipolar world but US will be replaced by China
The US had a good run, but eventually F'd it up
Good run but a very short run. Most empires have lasted for centuries whereas American empire is already not too far away from collapse
