Hi Friends, in this video, I share my bathtub cleaning routine. When you're done here, be sure to check out What's in My Laundry Pantry? at this link: ua-cam.com/video/xKGCt1Sc6-Y/v-deo.html
I have LIKE and SUBSCRIBED!! I will NEVER buy high priced natural or traditional cleaners again. Not only will this formula save me money but my tub is SO FREAKIN CLEAN!!! Dawn, Vinegar and water, and baking soda wow!! Your channel is definitely valuable in this day and time. Thank you!
@@homemakingwithdenise using the natural cleaner, and washing the inner curtain. I I usually just throw it away and get a new one Now I am going to be more careful with the opening and closing of it and wash it weekly.
Hi Denise. I came to check out your channel on the recommendation of Mary’s Nest. I’m glad I did cause I was just pondering my bathtub today. First step in cleaning: pondering.
☀️Denise, thank you for coming over to my channel and giving me such encouraging words, I couldn’t wait to come to your channel and learn about you.🌺 I also use the miracle spray of dawn and vinegar, it works like a charm, but you’re right, it gets sudsy, lol! I love the pattern on your shower curtain and how sweet of your husband to remind you to get him before standing on the edge of the tub. I often times have to remind myself that I’m not a spring chicken 🐓.. lol Thank you again for befriending me, you are the encourager that I want in my corner! ❤️
What a sweet husband...worrying about you falling when you put the shower curtain back up!❤️ I love that! He must be quite a sweetheart and love you very much! That is just precious! You’ve got a good one there!!
Kristy Capotosta He is a sweetie. I read him your comment and he smiled. Thank you. He has a good point but like I told him, you’re not always here when Zi do things. He told me to then wait! Hahaha! Thank you for watching. What tip was your takeaway?
This and That with Denise Jordan, my favorite tip was your homemade recipe for the bath cleaner. I never thought to use that in the tub so I’m going to give it a try!
Hi. New subscriber! I'm really enjoying your channel. So many helpful. I'm not the best homemaker, so I'm always looking for ideas on how to get better. Thanks for sharing. This is awesome 😊
Denise, your homemaking skills are a thing of the past. A lost art. Most young women and men don't know how to clean a home, sew basic things, shop, plan meals, cook basic things. (Im trying to teach my son as much as possible) Your channel is very important. I love what you say that you are teaching traditional homemaking skills. I love it and I am so glad i found your channel.
Terri, Yes, and don't forget us older women who never learned either. Everyone should learn housekeeping and some repair skills. Good job on teaching your son.
Thanks for the tips Ms Denise. I use vinegar and water to clean my mirrors, I have never tried it for my bathtub. I will give that a try tomorrow. I spring clean once a week and it's mostly on Saturdays. I like to see the soap suds also.
Me, Myself & DIY'ing It Hi Tammy, I like the addition of Dawn dish washing liquid to the vinegar for some cleaning, like bathrooms. Try it, but you’ve to rinse well.
Thanks Denise for these tips. I do clean with vinegar and also I use baking soda. I can never figure out a way to keep my shower liners clean..I never thought of washing them I just normally keep them for a while then buy another one because I normally buy the inexpensive ones. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day❤️
Elaborate Designs by Ieasha Hi Ieasha, I’m glad these proved useful. Yepper, throw those shower curtain liners in the wash and leave them outside the tub once they’re dry. This helps so much.
Mrs. Denise, is that a fiberglass tub and surround? My cast iron tub has been refinished 2 times and it peels off. I use gentle cleaners too. :( I have the double hooks that you can hang a shower liner and curtain on, they make it easier to take down either one to clean them. Thanks for sharing and the recipe for the tub all purpose cleaner
Hey Sis! Loved this video! I need a hand held device for sure! Loved the great tips! Love the apron btw! Loved seeing what is in your caddy! You are right about closing the shower curtain! The curtain is beautiful! Yes you should ask hubby next time and be careful. I have fallen out of the tub in the past and it was not pretty, hahaha. TFS! Many Blessings! 🏡🌼🌻🌴🌞💕💎
Hahaha! Allie, you are so right. He fussed and fussed and he is right. I don’t want to fall. Thank you for watching. This really was a fun video. And things I do each day, we’ll, weekly for all of that. I’ve got to get that next video up. There’s just so much time to get things done. What video would you like me to make next? What are your cleaning challenges?
@@homemakingwithdenise Sis I never have enough time, my home is a mess to declutter, lol. Well let's see I need to learn how to better clean, products to use, cooking for sure as I am bad in the kitchen. You know like simple cooking, but flavoring things is my challenge. I never know how to flavor/season meats, chicken, etc.. Organization type videos on clothes, drawers, and you know I love decor, lol. I also love when you just chat about a topic. Hope that gives you an idea. Love ya! Many Blessings! 🏡🌼🌻🌴🌞💕💎
@@homemakingwithdenise You could also do the quarantine tag, and my timeless elegance decor tag spring edition, lol. It will run all through spring whenever you get a chance and if fits for you. Now you are probably thinking why did I ask, hahah. Love ya! I actually tagged you for the Quarantine Tag, and now for the timeless! lol! Love ya. Many Blessings!

mike856ms Hey Mike, it’s good to see you again. You know, you’re an honorary brother. If I’m not mistaken, you used to jump on our Shout-out Sunday Show with the Sister Circle. Don’t take offense. My UA-cam mentor encourages us to “speak” to one person as our ideal customer even though we will have others that enjoy our content. You’re not the first guy to tell me this. Actually, if you’re making and keeping a home, the message is for you. Thank you so much for watching. As always, I appreciate it.
Hey Mike, I talked about this on the Shout-out Sunday Show with the Sister Circle. And talking through it, I’ve tweaked my message. I’m going to say “today’s homemaker.” That way, everyone is included. Thank you for helping me sort this out. Sometimes, just asking the question starts the necessary process to get to a solution, so thank you.
@@homemakingwithdenise how kind of you. I appreciate you being cognizant to who can be a "Homemaker". Many people believe that it's a woman's role. Nope, many single and married men "keep" a house. Bless you.
I live in an apartment and we have very hard water that leaves behind deposits (calcium and some iron too). It is so difficult to make my shower and tub really look nice and clean.
