Thanks for reviewing a cool nissan. I have a 2005 Altima SE-R. I don't know if Canada got the SE-R, but it's a sporty version that was only sold for 2 years. @@Maxiemilain 50k? where are u seeing this cause u can get it built from the factory for 45k. I got mines used for low 30k 2016 with less than 5k miles. A huge bargain with better reliability than most of its competition
I've said it in comment sections before and I'll say it again: 370Z catches a lot of flak on the internet (for what that's worth) over being old or heavy or not that good. But once it is gone everyone will miss it and suddenly realize it wasn't that bad at all.
Leuff Tbh it’s still a good car and still handles pretty good. However it’s pricing is waaaay off. Either the interior and performance has to improve or the price has got to go down
@@ishanbose7161 TBH, I think it's overpriced by 12k. And even then, there's probably really good and fierce competition. The Z either has to get revamped or kill off, and seeing where everything is going for Nissan right now, probably the latter.
Yep. When the Miata first came out - and quite a while afterwards - most 'car' people said they were awful. Too small. Underpowered. Overpriced. Effeminate. Now they're sought after. The 350s and 370s will be the same.
Having watched so many reviews on the 370z, I took the plunge and bought a 2017 GT manual a month ago.Quoted as 328hp 0 - 60 in 5.3 seconds Restricted to 155mph. Cost £23500. 6600 miles on the clock. I can’t fault it at all. Do I care that I’d be 2 seconds behind a car that costs 3 or 4 Xs the price...no. Will I ever achieve 155mph....not ever in the UK. I think it’s stunning and I haven’t stopped smiling. At 57yrs old, thought it was time for some fun and the wife agrees.
Mr. H Hi there. I posted a reply to you and now seems to have disappeared! Have some minor issues...going into second gear is stiff, excessive condensation, cabbage smell coming through the vents, tight manoeuvring the tyres judder...apart from that all good 👍😊
running a '17 Nismo here... an outrageous ride... old-school raw.. no drive-by-wire BS. The Z car review mob who quote each other, "old", "need to update the infotainment screen", "only one cup holder", duh lol...It's a sports car not a baby carrier. Ride, handling, performance "perfection" doesn't get old on the back winding roads I run on. BTW Take this Z anywhere and all I get is stares, thumbs up, beautiful, what is it? Those art deco curves don't get any better. Drive anything else around here like a new stang, camaro, charger, sting ray doesn't even get a second look... I guess ya get what ya pay for... I cant agree with you more, ive got a '17 nismo too, and she's a head turner i love it, but then you see mustangs and its kinda "eh" tbh i see so many of them that theyve sorta lost their wow factor. But ive got the only Nismo around my area.
...it gets stares because people probably think you are driving a mint super clean car from 2010 and honestly can't tell the difference between new vs old. Plus, Zs in general are few and far between, so to the casual observer, they probably aren't aware it's been around for 10 years, virtually unchanged. Looks aside, the 370Z does drive well, and accomplish its mission, but the interior is disgrace to the car's potential/performance.
I think people just complain too much. I am currently driving a 2006 Mazda3 5 speed sedan that I bought new. I like to keep my cars for at least ten years if things work out for me. I would rather buy the same 2006 model Mazda3 that I am driving today, if I could get it brand new, than the current new models of the Mazda3. I feel that way about the Z, I had a 2003 350z but it was auto, needed the room of the Mazda3 that I replaced it with in 2006. I am not inclined to buy the new 400z with turbos as much as I am to buy the current model with the naturally aspirated motor! In a manual only!!
@@t.k.morris you speak facts, like I want an older style car, I want to be able to feel the road through the steering brakes and seat, I don't want stupid screens everywhere that distract me, or electronics that filter every input I make. @@brandongao3675 Totally agree. Maybe they didn't change much because it was already so good and sales were falling off for them? I did just that, bought a used sport touring 2016 manual with 9,000km on it for under $30k Canadian. Sweet car at a sweet price!
@@brandongao3675 Why the 350 if I can ask? I did all the research and the 370 are much nicer inside and better performance. I'd recommend a sport touring for sure, the extra features are so nice
I have this car as a daily driver and drive 100 miles per day. It rocks. I couldn't give a rats ass if someone thinks it looks dated inside. If you think that, then good for you, stick with what you like. I bought it because wanted a fast two seater. I combat drive interstate 5 daily and needed a car that can out brake and maneuver all the reckless drivers out there. It does the job very well and is highly reliable. 78K on it already and not one single issue. It pulls like a raped ape once all the tire spin stops and the steering is almost surgical. Its an absolute blast to drive.
I live in Houston, and it’s An amazing thing being able to drive this thing and barely ever seeing other Nismo’s while there’s a clusterfuck of V6 American cars lmao who think they’re cool when really they’re driving a car that was built around a V8.
I got a ride in a 350Z about 13 years ago and it was awesome . I'll always have a soft spot for the 350z and 370z . Nismo version definitely looks the best .
Agreed the 350z nismo looks as close as a street car get to the jgtc 350z, and the early nismo 370 longnose harkens back to the 240 and looks excellent.
CroatCode do you find yourself smiling every time you’re about to get in it? I do. I also love the fact that that I’m the only one around here with a Nismo Z. Modern American muscle cars are plentiful, so I get to stand out.

I actually own a 2019 Nismo, black, 6MT, it is definitely an amazing machine. True some may say it needs more hp but it’s about handling not straight line speed. Sure a mustang camaro goes faster but everybody and their grandma drives one. Not many Nismo’s on the road, I will sit at restaurants & people take pictures of my car; and constantly get compliments at gas stations. It’s an easy clutch to drive; if you jerky driving one of these, you don’t know how to drive a stick. Plus I do a lot of city driving with cops around; so not many opportunities to punch it. Sometimes I think it’s too much power/speed for city driving. But it does love highway driving and twisty roads.
I had a 2014 sport touring and everybody asked me about that one too. It was a beautiful car until it got totaled parked in front of my house by a hit and run.
Lyle York lol They actually changed the old clunky clutch to a better exedy one, and apparently it is easier to drive than the older ones. Im talking about the clutch they updated in the 2019+ models, which is what you have.
Perfectly analog, a soon to be classic that will likely be a better drive than the next model. Been waiting for a recent test on a 370 Nismo - these things don't get the attention they deserve. These will still be in garages and on the road long after the next gen comes out with another ubiquitous turbo four and is recycled into Molson cans...
@@mitsuracer87 It's pretty quite for what it is stock, but all i needed was a muffler delete and it sounds like a super car, deep and throaty. There was a 350z that drove pass my home every morning with cats and muffler delete, thought it was like some huge ass muscle car which pissed me off with all that noise, still an idiot asshole since now i recognize the tone is almost similar to my 370 and i can tell he revs it to redline in a low gear in a 30mph zone. I dont do the same as i keep the rpms below 3k less than half of what he does.
best z review i've seen, alot of ppl including reviewers just can't seem to get this car, the performance, engine, driving feel, heritage, etc. You really have to drive one to understand it, the Z is seriously shockingly amazing, especially what Nismo did, this thing is a beast on track and through tight twisty turns, theres a reason owners love this car to death. People bash it for being old, honestly if theres nothing wrong with it and it still holds up I don't see why you want it changed just for the sake of being new. Even when the next gen Z comes out with turbos and electric assist, I'd appreciate this legendary engine for its unique characteristics, this engine can pull so hard it makes you feel so fast its crazy. To all those interior comments, honestly once you get in its not bad at all, I actually like the interior and the driver focused nature of the layouts, its certainly not fancy but doesn't need to be, this car is about the drive and you'll forget about everything else since you'll be so focused, this interior speaks racecar simple and i like it that way. the aftermarket exhaust to free up the engine is a must, throw in an intake and exhaust combo and you'll get extra 20+ hp and takes this car to another level.
@Bjorn Ironsides It depends on the car. Can you imagine a BMW 7 series manual? No one would buy it. Such a heavy car. Like the way they removed manual from the new M5 good choice cus lets be honest no one would order it with a maual on such a heavy big car. On cars like the 350z yes manual is great but only if you have another car with auto to daily. It sucks to daily a manual car.
@Bjorn Ironsides Yeah kinda agree with you always loved driving manual all the time when i lived in a small city. Now that I live in a bigger city and commute on the most busy highway in the area it's hard to imagine being able to really have much fun with manual allot of times. Still miss it allot though.
As a sports car enthusiast, this is one of my favorite cards. It's an engaging driving experience, and fast enough for the street. Power is actually very well matched for the car. So many newer cars have power that is too much for the chassis. Love the steering. Most newer sports cars have terrible electric steering. This and the S2000 are two of my favorite affordable sports cars.
I would like to see the Z with the 400bhp Infinity Redline engine dropped in . Add more aluminum parts. Drop the cars weight By 300 Lbs. That would kick sand in the face of the new Supra/ BMW and Porsche Cayman
@@701garage nah, not heavy at all. Many high performance, well respected sports cars weigh that: Viper, 911s, Corvette, etc. 3,300lbs for a performance car is not considered heavy, at all.
I used to be the same way but I drove a couple when I worked at a dealership a few years ago and it was surprisingly fun to drive, and I think it was a base model
A car you have to experience to really appreciate it, its beauty and fun factor is something i will never regret after making my choice. I was like those commenters who would blab about the Z being outdated, but man after riding my used 2016 nismo Z, I can see why, Its an absolute dream. Reliable, potential, and aggressiveness of this car puts a smile on my face every time.
harrismi7 I think being outdated would be fine if it wasn’t 46 thousand dollars. That’s a lot of money for a car that could be so much better. Hopefully Nissan will make an update on the car.
harrismi7 100% agreed on not buying the miso trim. I honestly wouldn’t buy this car new anyways you could get a way better deal used and the car hasn’t changed that much over the last 3-4 years.
Wow finally a positive 370Z review! Not that I was actively searching for one but practically every review is "the 370Z is old and needs an update" which I can understand. When I test drove one I still fell in love with it
I had a 2016 370z base model and upgraded couple months ago to the 2019 370z Nismo edition exactly as the one in the video but in pearl white. To all the critics whom have never driven one of these cars please dont comment when you have no clue as to what this car can do . For the price its ridiculously awesome pure head turner super fast and beautiful inside and out. million times better then the base model and def worth the 15K extra for the nismo. I had both so I know first hand how much better this one really is . Everyone says its outdated blah blah but you have never actually been behind the wheel to really see for yourself how amazing this car really is. I love it and also test drove the Mustang 5.0 (2018) and Camaro SS and the nismo is way more fun and looks much much better. These guys actually nailed every pro and con and for once a proper car review from guys that actually know what they are talkin about. Keep up the great work !!! The only critique I have of this car is that I wish it did have a bit more horsepower since its the Nismo edition. I woulda liked for it have like 375hp and 300 torque im sure Nissan coulda easily mustered that but it is what it is.
I also own a 2017 pearl white nismo ,base and touring sport are just not the same ,bought it new with 1 mile on it, with just a few basic upgrades intakes, exhaust and a tune , I'm at 322 to the wheel which equates to about 380 crank , and does make a big difference ,but first and foremost get a 34row oil cooler , these cars do run hot but the cooler takes good care of that , I also test drove.Camaro and mustang ,several times and kept going back to the z was just so much funner to drive ,most have never driven one so they just talk out of their asses , most of them probably drive Honda civics
@@Howardrjarrettjr70 Great suggestion thank you , im just worried it will ruin my warranty if I do so..... I bought mine brand new as well .... oil cooler I might actually take you up on that but I was looking at a few air intakes.which would you recommend .. Thats awesome though im sure she flys now but wish Nissan upped the specs on their own it shoulda came at least with 300 torque stock !!!! Drive safe !!!
Behzad B same here i had a 17 base model and now a 17 nismo tech. Its like a totally diffrent car. I drive my nismo 50 miles a day round trip to work and love every day of it then i can take it to the mountains and run around with my buddys ZL1 camaro and not get totally embarrased lol
man i had a white 370z sport package 09 brand new. i miss it so much. had to give it up due to financial problems at the time. i remember during college i fit 3 girls in the car to go eat after a party. 2 on passenger seat and one in the trunk hahaha. i couldnt do that with my 350 since it had the rear strut bar. man this car brings back memories. it was perfect for drifting too. perfect weifght distribution for it
The design of this car manages to blend the best aspects of early 2000's import scene, curvacious hips, free flowing design that gloriously encomposes my favorite period in car design. Even if it is a bit shiny and tacky. Love it!
Cbar65 bro the aftermarket world on the 350/370z makes the possibilities endless when owning one. With 10k you can do some Bolt ons and a tune to make this faster than a Nismo.
I bought a 2018 370Z in the Heritage Edition: Chicane yellow with black rally stripes with matching yellow stitching. Added Stellen Gen 3 dual intake and cut off muffler, removed resonator, and adding custom exhaust. The sound is awesome. I get more compliments than any Mustang, Camaro, or Charger/Challenger!
Most Nissan interiors are so wack. If you think the Z is bad, you should see my 2009 Frontier 🤣 That damn truck just keeps rolling though, so I cant dump it.
Day driving the Nismo is fun. Expensive and annoying but fun. If a sti come around..well.. burnt.. always.. but if in the Denver mountain roads.. Nismo will win. The responsiveness is absolutely perfect. 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo owner.. bad in the snow here in Denver..real bad..Juke NismoRs for this
I know I'm late, but I've owned 3 different year models of 350Zs, and one 280ZX Turbo, the Z cars, are very well built and fun, for the prices, i currently daily drive an 08 350Z Touring, and stock, all of them are very capable out of the box, I have never driven a car thats more fun just every time you drive in my life. Ill probably never get the opportunity to drive a new 370 or other high end sports cars, but even the lower prices, or older used models are not disappointing. The Z car line to me is a very special and very well done example of most (if not all) elements of car design being hit either on the head or just below that and then improved upon consistently with each incremental increase (i.e. 240 to 280, to 300, etc.) Well done to the Fairladies Design team, engineers and other personnel. Def deserves its place in automotive history imho.
Sure the 370Z is a great performer, but it could be so much better. Nissan has left so much on the table with ALL of their cars. This could be slumming it or even running laps around some big dogs but those guys had more technologically advanced interiors when they were founded in the early 1900s. For Christ sake you get in a $60,000 (US) Titan and an iPhone 8 is bigger than the infotainment screen. That’s not acceptable in 2018. Nissan kills it in the category of performance and their exterior styling is unique and modern but they fall on their faces everywhere else and then they let a generation of a car sit on dealer lots for 10+ years and refreshes still leave them years behind. Again they could be so good but they leave so much on the table
Christopher Osborne the ceo of Renault. He ruined the evo, mitsubishi in general and ruined Nissan but he got arrested. Now why? Because he most of the money of the company for himself. So wait, because mitsubishi and Nissan are about to rise their level
Styling? Sure. Performance? No not even close. The Z isn't a $25k car like the BRZ, Miata, and ST's, it starts at $30k and goes up quickly. The Z is basically toe to toe with the V6 Camaro, and well behind the V6 1LE on track. The NISMO is so far behind it would be lapped by it's $45k competition before the end of a 20 minute session...that's if it's brakes didn't fail first.
Iketani Koichiro umm no that’s not why he got arrested you should research some stuff before commenting. And the EVO was long gone before they joined Nissan and again Mitsubishi is not ruined maybe in North America look elsewhere there doing fine
The VDC off doesn't "fully" disable the program. You'd have to unplug the yaw sensor under the center console to get rid of it completely. Anyway, thanks for the review. Now you're gonna make me drive my Z to work today.
"Three fast Three furious!" The review is bang on. I owned a 2005 350z and had all of the same complaints but enjoyed all of the same aspects of it being a fun to drive RWD with an NA V6.
I agree that the 370z is great because it's old-school in today's market. In many ways, sports cars were better driver's cars 10-20 years ago than they are today. That's the appeal of the Z. It's an analog sports car in all the ways that count. Hydraulic power steering, direct linkage manual transmission, and a nice, strong, N/A engine. The best buy in the 370z line is the base with sport package, IMO. That gets you meaty wheels and tires, LSD, Akebono brakes, and synchro rev-match on the manual trans. You can buy a brand new one for well under MSRP now. They're going for $27-28k. One small point to nitpick- The 370z (and 350z) were never really meant to be successors to the 300zx. They're much more in the spirit of the 240 through 280z. The ZX cars were more expensive (relative to their eras) than the plain old "Z" cars. They were loaded up with options, and tended to compete with a different bracket of sports/GT car. The 300zx turbo and later Z32 300zx TT were direct competitors to the Corvette. The 350 and 370z don't occupy that market position. They're more raw and affordable machines than the ZX cars.
You guys are awsome! I'm about to buy my first new car soon, been watching a lot of UA-cam reviews. You guys are a blast to watch and give good reviews.
the NISMO exhaust is perfect for daily driving. Cold start it does sound kinda boring but once the car has warmed up it has a nice deep rumble and does get noticeably louder.
I have this car in the same red, and I love it so much. When ever I get to drive it I get stoked, the way it drives and looks for the price, you cannot beat. Got it over a year ago and like it even more then the day I bought it. If your thinking about buying one! Buy it! Rare and the looks it gets and the compliments it gets is crazy!
Awesome review :) One of the last true sports cars still sold. Old has now become retro trendy lol...I want one but I already have a G37 and I LOVE IT!
I absolutely love the 370. I’m a big Z fan, of pretty much all of them. But this NISMO trim is on point. Throw a turbo and exhaust on this car and you can get 600-700hp on stock internals. The VQ is a great engine in my opinion.
Those who say a miata is better than a Nissan 370z Roadster, Toyota GT86, Subaru BRZ, or Honda S2000 have never driven anything other than a rundown 90’s beater. 14:50 These Nismo’s are expensive
a toyota 86 & subaru brz are both UGLY slow pieces of SHIT both of these UGLY toyota GARBAGE cans should NOT be mentioned in the same sentence as a 370 Z
Just bought a 2012 G37, looks exactly like this inside but the ride and driving experience is soooo good, no one cares about the infotainment, it’s bose, it has an awesome sound, dont touch it unless you wanna increase the volume lool VQ for life!
I work as a sales rep for Nissan, and I got to drive the 2020 Nismo (in white) yesterday, and it was one of the funnest cars I've ever driven. Fully recommend to anyone looking to get into a sports car.
Ahhh the Z , can’t wait until Sunday 😤. My favorite car in the world 🌎. I’ve owned three 90’s Z’s and I’m always looking for the next one. There becoming unicorns 🦄. This review had me smiling 😁. Thanks guys for the new Z review 😬.
Life long Z owner here too 84, 86 and 1990 300zx's. Bought my 370Z before it even released and was the 1st to receive one from my dealership. Its been a blast to drive the past, damn just about 10 yrs now. I smile as much as I did day 1 everytime I drive it. Z cars for life!
Well not necessarily. The oem lsd is viscous so it’s kinda so-so, for the 4500 difference in price you can just about get like a Quaife lsd and the sport brakes from z1 Motorsport or something.
Well Nissan is going through bit of a crisis right now, so doubt there's any chance they throw money at developing new sports car platforms. But if they make it out alive, I think we'll definitely get a new Z & GTR!
Just so you know guys, I stumbled onto your channel recently (through the AMG e63s wagon bids 💕💕💕) and I'm having a blast catching up on all these cars that I've thought were cool for so long. 3 years after this vid, and I had never considered a Nismo Z but dang is your enthusiasm contagious! That exchange about how these are the future of drift cars makes me so happy too!
I test drove one and loved it. It feels like a race car for the road. Very fun to drive. The seats are amazing, very good steering feel, sweet engine, nice sound and handling is incredible. There are not very many visceral sport cars like this any more. I'm tempted to sell my Mazda Speed Miata to buy one now....
The lack of tech is why I love my G37 so much. If I didn't need the back seat I would have gotten the 370Z for sure. If I wanted all the tech and infotainment I'll just drive my Durango RT or would have bought an Audi instead of the G37. I love the formula. A blast to drive and fast enough for the street. Cheap and easy to maintain.
That Cayman comment though.... was a bit much. I own this car and I love it, it's well balanced, good brakes and looks the part. It could have better cooling and lighter curb weight. The nismo should of been just that lighter, tighter gearing and better tires. The Aero has little effect on the 2016+ models. A flat under body and rear diffuser would of been a start. The Nismo comes with a 10% stiffer front bracket and Nismo coils over suspension. The car has nice stitching inside and even nicer recaro seats. This car is the perfect first sports car. Great road car and with some of the mods that I listed earlier it could be a great track car.
I've never driven a Cayman let alone a GTS but I used to own a 370 and have a very hard time believing the 370Z would be a better driving experience based on my 5 years of ownership with one.
@@BigCool95 u must live under the rocks bro lmao 350z's are EVERYWHERE since they came out in 2003 till this date 370's are a little more uncommon but that's cause the prices are high still.

Yep. When the Miata first came out - and quite a while afterwards - most 'car' people said they were awful. Too small. Underpowered. Overpriced. Effeminate. Now they're sought after. The 350s and 370s will be the same.

But it does love highway driving and twisty roads.

best z review i've seen, alot of ppl including reviewers just can't seem to get this car, the performance, engine, driving feel, heritage, etc.

Total time machine. Takes you back a decade when you get in it.
Yep.. it was Renault's fault..

@NukuNuku That is bad. A Type-R has more Torque out that little turbo I4
@@DragonKnightX12 miata is a great car but doesn't seem as professional and driver focused as the Z
Best review of this car so far!
It pisses me off how everyone’s like “ThE InfOtaInm3NT is OUTdated!” Like stfu you’re driving the car not wasting time touching on the screen smh
Sometimes the climate and everything is buried in the infotainment and you can't avoid it
It's down to bang for your buck. Take at look at other offerings and what they throw in for the same money
@@TheStraightPipes but there are a fair amount of cool things the infotainment system can do if you play around with it
I’ve had my 2017 Nismo for a year
and I’m still so in love with it
It's outdated in every way that isn't required by law, and it's sold at a price that can get you a more reasonable 2 seater daily sports car.
About damn time!!! I've been waiting for this review
You guys are awsome! I'm about to buy my first new car soon, been watching a lot of UA-cam reviews. You guys are a blast to watch and give good reviews.
Kris Insy Hey so what car did you end up with?😃
I own one since September and this is the best car I‘ve ever driven!
I love the honest old fashioned way it is. That is how a sportscar should be.
the NISMO exhaust is perfect for daily driving.
That is quite a price you got there, Zee...
And for that reason, I'm out.
26k mine cost with 3k miles 2017...bargain
I got a steal picked up a 2011 370z touring/sport for $12k at 50k miles no accidents I just wouldn’t buy one brand new
@@oneillvittini144 Not a bad deal!
@@oneillvittini144 thats a damn good deal on a great car 👍
Seat adjustment: NO ONE shares a 370Z Nismo. Even not with his wife.
ESPECIALLY not your wife
Awesome review :) One of the last true sports cars still sold. Old has now become retro trendy lol...I want one but I already have a G37 and I LOVE IT!
I absolutely love the 370. I’m a big Z fan, of pretty much all of them. But this NISMO trim is on point. Throw a turbo and exhaust on this car and you can get 600-700hp on stock internals. The VQ is a great engine in my opinion.
I love my 2010 40th anniversary 370z! I’m glad guys like you drive them before you judge them 👌
If it ain’t broken why change it 🤷🏽♂️ Z for life
Yes
Umm well. So it can be better.
Stupid🤦🏻♂️
Those who say a miata is better than a Nissan 370z Roadster, Toyota GT86, Subaru BRZ, or Honda S2000 have never driven anything other than a rundown 90’s beater.
14:50
These Nismo’s are expensive
Miata is underpower!
I've driven all those cars and while the Miata is not the best or better than the others, it was personally the most fun. S2000 was a close 2nd.
Dreamy Miata’s are small as hell and look like go carts. Little sissy car.
a toyota 86 & subaru brz are both UGLY slow pieces of SHIT both of these UGLY toyota GARBAGE cans should NOT be mentioned in the same sentence as a 370 Z
Kxng Earner shut up
Just bought a 2012 G37, looks exactly like this inside but the ride and driving experience is soooo good, no one cares about the infotainment, it’s bose, it has an awesome sound, dont touch it unless you wanna increase the volume lool
VQ for life!
Why not a Q50 instead with the 3.7, the interior blows the G away and its much more modern car.
I work as a sales rep for Nissan, and I got to drive the 2020 Nismo (in white) yesterday, and it was one of the funnest cars I've ever driven. Fully recommend to anyone looking to get into a sports car.
hey when your car wont start knowing its a low voltage issue is really helpful
Ahhh the Z , can’t wait until Sunday 😤. My favorite car in the world 🌎. I’ve owned three 90’s Z’s and I’m always looking for the next one. There becoming unicorns 🦄. This review had me smiling 😁. Thanks guys for the new Z review 😬.
"There becoming unicorns " They're or They are ;)
Life long Z owner here too 84, 86 and 1990 300zx's. Bought my 370Z before it even released and was the 1st to receive one from my dealership. Its been a blast to drive the past, damn just about 10 yrs now. I smile as much as I did day 1 everytime I drive it. Z cars for life!
Dudes you don't want the base model. It has an open diff, the one to get is model one up from the base that comes with an lsd and bigger brakes.
BCJDM Finally, someone who knows what he is talking about!
Well not necessarily. The oem lsd is viscous so it’s kinda so-so, for the 4500 difference in price you can just about get like a Quaife lsd and the sport brakes from z1 Motorsport or something.
ballinvsxx , what this guy just said.
However, I wouldn't trade my heated seats or auto dimming rear view mirror.
Nissan really hanging on to this generation of Z and GTR.
zachary paris I think this is better than buying a new car and only 4-5 years later there’s been 3 new generations
It’s a proven platform!
Well Nissan is going through bit of a crisis right now, so doubt there's any chance they throw money at developing new sports car platforms.
But if they make it out alive, I think we'll definitely get a new Z & GTR!
I respect it tbh, “if it ain’t broke...” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They are fine platforms. There is just absolutely no excitement left after seeing them for so long.
That exchange about how these are the future of drift cars makes me so happy too!
bruh why do people care so much about the interior? This is not a luxury car, its a frickin sports car which should be fun to drive and this Z is!
Can you try the GTR nismo?
No because these noobs couldnt handle it.
@@jezzdogg6857 they drove a 911 gt3 so your dumb
Jacob's reaction to "the juke is kinda cool" had me dying even my auto correct knows to correct it to joke.
I test drove one and loved it. It feels like a race car for the road. Very fun to drive. The seats are amazing, very good steering feel, sweet engine, nice sound and handling is incredible. There are not very many visceral sport cars like this any more. I'm tempted to sell my Mazda Speed Miata to buy one now....
did you sell the miata for the z
I absolutely enjoy the banter and disagreement between you two, you respect each others opinion enough despite having conflicting ones. :D
It’s so clean :( that’s my dream car
I love the sound!!! Beautiful
your banter's entertaining and your coverage on the vehicle are both comprehensive and educational. Great Job guys!
don't ever change
I honestly thought they stopped making these in 2008
Not really a car fan, 2008 thats 350z era your out of touch.
Mark Reier doesnt mean im not a car fan. Im not a nissan fan, and i havent seen a 350/370z on the road in years
@@BigCool95 u must live under the rocks bro lmao 350z's are EVERYWHERE since they came out in 2003 till this date 370's are a little more uncommon but that's cause the prices are high still.
Jose Navarro idk maybe pennsylvanians dont like 350/370z’s idk i dont live in the country either. I honestly have only ever seen 3. 2 350’s on the road, and a 370 that got traded in at a dealership i worked at. Other than that i never see them.

I love it! I was considering getting a standard one. Still love of look of that too.
You should do a Straight Tech video on how you get the paint to change color so perfectly in your videos!
Ya I can do that no problem. I’ll try to do it this week.
TheStraightPipes that would be amazing! TYSM 🖤
10 years later and still amazing.👍
Even though the infotainment system seems outdated and the suspension is stiffer than most. I still think that it is an amazing car.
