I live in the Detroit area. It's probably the closest US city in perception to Mexico. I lived on the other side of the state in Grand Rapids (only 2 hour drive away) until college. My family moved to this area and I remember my mom originally thinking it would be like moving into an always dark Detroit alley way where you have to keep your head on a swivel. Not exactly how most of the area is (especially Oakland County which is one of the richest in the nation). 🙂 BTW, Seth MacFarlane and his show(s) are and have always been about the most woke you can get. Don't know where you got the anti-woke perception from. If you're looking for anti-woke, South Park would probably be more accurate. Both different ends of the spectrum in my view.
