The shotgun is actually a really strong support weapon if you use it just as a stun gun. It seems if any of the pellets connects its can stun a whole crowd in 1 or 2 shots. I've been using it with stun ammo only along with the senator, impact nades, and i bring the guard dog so it can kill chaff and even devistators while stunned. Also bring a laz cannon to deal with everything else the dog/stun shotty can't. it leaves 2 strats to play with. Also 1 shot to hulk backs will stun them so you can dive and shoot to stun and just pop the pack with the ap ammo or senator
The dedication to earn the extra medals to unlock the plasma pistol and do test runs with it and then edit a video in like 7 hours after the warbond was launched is crazy. Much respect.
@@GlitchUnlimitedidk if you already do it but i recommend doing super helldiver missions only focusing on primaries and extract quickly and grind operations in the space between warbonds to fully do them easie
I feel like dead sprint, stamina, experimental, and Vitality would be an interesting combo since you can sprint for super long then when you stim you also get DR while you regen both health and stamina, pair that with the light medic armor as well?
Thats an ideas for the dead booster I was trying to think of tech. But can't lol. Feels more like a meme booster like the more reinforcement booster and the other one. Lol 😂

Something i noticed is that most of the weapons so far have been more effective on the bugs than the bots. So its nice that Arrow Head are introducing more weapons that are great bot killers.
@@TheNightOwl11683I haven’t tried it since the buff, as in my experience it’s a lot easier to land those burst shots which do actual damage compared to the lasers which require constant aim on a body part to dish out its full sustained damage. On the bot front, I find they move too much in for me to keep my aim on their heads with the scythe, while the sickle allows me to get 2 or so headshots which ultimately drop bots faster. Again, I haven’t tested the scythe since buff, but that’s why I prefer the sickle over it
@@yigityildirim9877 the sickle is good up to like level 7 maybe. After that it's useless as most enemies are mediums. If the primary can't take out rocket striders, then it's essentially useless for lvl9-10.

@@redrum_bd1036 I'm in the same boat as you, I have no idea why they made it an SMG and didn't make it 1 handed, which is pretty much the only distinguishing and beneficial difference I see between SMG's and AR's. I'm not disappointed though, it's still a good weapon and even if it wasn't, the rest of the warbond is amazing. My fault for getting my hopes up and saying "Finally! Medium armor pen primary for shield that isn't the crossbow!!!!!" But who knows? Maybe they'll change it.
Does anyone else get annoyed when you throw a Orbital Railcannon Strike at a Hulk, Tank, or Factory strider and for some reason your coworkers back on the destroyer seem to think you want the regular Strider to receive Liberty's Judgment? I've died too many times to this happening.
It's exactly why I never use that stratagem. It's bad in clutch. I'd rather just use 500kg or OPS. Even strafing run gives much more value. They'd have to decrease CD time and turn it into a salvo of railgun strikes for me to consider using.
The new shotgun is highly effective against stalkers as it breifly disables the invisibility with the stun rounds so if you have a sentry near by it can target them long enough to get a kill.
Dead sprint would be super helpful while wearing heavy armor. Trying to keep up as a chonk-diver you use your Stims anyway. A booster really only useful if you’re planning a loadout with a group in mind.
Loadout recommendation. I call this one the House Call: Halt Senator Gas Grenade Engineer Armor (I use the Drone Comander, but the Groundbreaker has the same values.) Orbital Precision strike Comando Guard Dog Whatever you fancy to use at that moment I designed that loadout for crowd control. You can stun or blind almost all regular enemies and have you trusty K9 unit defend your 6. Biggest downside I noticed so far: I tend to run out of ammo when I dive with a random team.

Nice that the Halt makes use of the 2 Separate Barrels to have Different Rounds in them. I've heard for the Real Life Counterpart, Police would have Bean Bag Shots on one Side and Normal Shells on the other.
Dead Sprint is great when combined with the more stamina and super stim boosters. There's a lot of maps and missions that have a ton of map crossing to get all objectives done. If you're going to be speed running outposts and side objectives, this will increase your mobility by a ton, and help with heavy armor divers keep up.
If you wanna speed run a mission: Experimental Infusion booster Armour that gives extra stims Dead sprint booster Jet pack Stim pistols You can sprint all the way across the map, also using the jet pack, then stim up when approaching enemies. Not good versus high level bots probably, but you can abuse the hell out of stims this way.
For bugs I definitely prefer the Blitzer. Medium armour penetration with a pushback AND unlimited ammo is S tier with crowd control. Solo controlling multiple stalkers is easy. Love the new armour colours, would’ve liked something similar with the peak physique modifier.
I think of it as being like an SMG chambered in .45 ACP rather than 9mm. It fires hard hitting rounds with serious drop off (I believe the same projectile as the Verdict pisrol). It might have the power of a rifle, but it doesn't have the range.
I hope we get more "automaton killer" warbonds. Anywho. Tips on how to use dead sprint effectively: Equip vitality and stamina booster, vitality actually helps take less damage and we tested this and stamina will do its job, especially on snow planets. Any other booster can be whatever if you have a fourth man, really helpful in getting out of sticky situations especially on higher difficulties.
I believe overall that this warbond is an excellent addition with its weapons and perk for the armors. I’m mostly impressed with the aesthetics of the warbond as we desperately need this color scheme for our outfits and equipment. That booster is a disappointment though, I see people are finding a remedy for it through vitality but if you have to run a booster that typically isn’t run when you have better options that’s still doesn’t make it any better. I’d rather use a solid set of boosters with zero drawbacks as a team. Not forced to use ones to patch another boosters problems. Great video!
The SMG and shotgun are looking better than other weapons on release but they still need help. The SMG needs a little bit less recoil. and a bigger mag. The shotgun needs a hotkey to switch between round types and a bigger mag
I think a better idea instead of Dead Sprint would be a booster called something like Dead Man walking, where after taking fatal damage you stay alive for like 5~ seconds and essentially become immune to damage before you die and basically let you get in a few more kills before you truly die(kinda like Iron Will from DRG)
The one thing I really like about the patterns on the exo, pod and the pelican is that they actually lack the yellow and white icons that were on the other patterns.
with the Reprimand it takes ~12 shots to a stripped leg to kill a Behemoth Charger, unfortunately it does not have the 1-handed property so it cannot be used in conjunction with the Ballistic Shield and you can't fire it behind you while jogging away. This thing is less like an SMG and more like a shorter range Adjudicator. The slow rate of fire basically means the semi-auto and burst fire modes are useless as there is plenty of time to stop shooting to conserve ammo/manage recoil, so tap firing the thing is easy and you still have the option to let it sing if something gets too close for comfort. I believe the Halt's stun rounds affect Chargers if you hit their sack, so that opens them up to being killed by unconventional Support Weapons i.e Autocannon to the front, Machine Guns to the back or a Supply Pod dropped on its head. The Halt is great for a combo I used to run with the pre-nerf Pummeler - Use the Pummeler to stun a Bile Spewer and then whip out the Senator and blow its head off, but the Halt can do that without the need to switch to a Secondary while allowing you to get close enough to max out the damage without getting puked on.
Charged shots from the loyalist don't use more ammo than uncharged shot, so if you're trying to conserve ammo then charged shots are the way to go. You're using more ammo than you need to otherwise.
Honestly dead sprint seems like its almost entirely covered by the potent stims, they give you a speed boost while not draining your stamina, or if you're out of stamina and stim, you get a speed boost and refill your stamina. I don't usually advocate for abusing stimulants, but for helldivers I say its A-Okay.
1:00 the issue is that the stat card of the Purifier shows it's max charged damages, while the Pistol has the correct one. On semi auto, the purifier doesn't do 500 damages, but 175. Charged pistol shot does 350 damages
I like the combo of the halt stun with the LMG and supply backpack. the halt frees up my nade slot for anything I want so thermite baby then having the plas pistol as backup since it can deal with medium armor make this pretty flexible
If the dead sprint booster would give you a speed boost when stamina runs out, it would make more sense and would be an alternative to the stamina booster.
In my opinion, Halt can be greatest weapon with some research. Like, shooting charger's butt to stun and safely throw termite, stunning stalkers, supportive stun... It has massive potential and I want you fellas to look into it.
Glad that we got some decent bot killers because there are so many viable weapons for bugs because many of them can be hit with light pen but bots are almost impossible with a low pen primary. Was honestly bored of using plasma punisher and crossbow on bots. Hope they finally get round to adding the LAS-13 Trident soon as it was so good in HD1
I would like to imagine that the dead sprint booster is an added difficulty option the developers put in the game for people who find the game still too easy, so now we have to be more thoughtful of how we should manage stamina.
A booster to overcharge Health woukd have been great. 50% more health for when you stim. Hp will go down slowly after a while to 100% again if not used

Dead sprint is best used if someone has vitality equipped. You take almost no damage from dead sprint if those two are combined Something to also note, dead sprint cannot kill you
The SMG is so fun, loving the new armor, but they really need to rework armor so I can choose whatever I wanna wear and Select the passive I want to run with that build 😢also shotgun is so fun, once people get the hang of alternating the ammo types they will love it
@@gabusdeux who cares about that logic? This is a PvE game, it's not gonna confuse the ai on what perk I have. I'm sick of having to be in green because I like medic passive the most and I can't have my favorite drip setup.
If the recoil was not absurdly high, it would be a good gun. Problem is, currently its only good for killing clouds, not acting like an SMG, its just the new better looking adjudicator. As for the Halt, the stun rounds are the best rounds vs bugs. If you bring the Liberator guard dog, it kills everything you stun for you. You almost never get touched by enemy's.
Bot Front: 1. Adjudicator, Defender/Pummeler, Verdict, Flash Grenade 2. Ballistic Shield, HMG or Quasar, Eagle Airstrike and Orbital Railcannon 3. Medium or Heavy with Recoil control and Explosive resistance. Bug Front: 1. Torcher/Blitzer, Uzi, Incendiary grenade. 2. Shield Pack, Quasar/Grenade Launcher, Gatling Barrage, Orbital Gas. 3. Light or Medium armor with either Gas or Fire resistance.
I was expecting the smg to be 1 handed, just with more recoil than it already had, but I like how powerful it feels. I saw someone already said it but I really like the Doubt Killer armor and it reminds me of the Jin-Roh Wolf Brigade armor.
its kind unreal how different the the hp consumption of the the death sprint booster turns out when you have also the hearth shaped booster in your team.
Considering I die in two shots all the time, as I'm a scout armor user, the Death Sprint seem useful. But that drainage speed is a bit fast, so I guess it's really not gonna give me many seconds of sprint. Finally a great SMG for the knight shield build, though.
THE smg is cool. While it doesn't have the fodder clear the other smgs have it hits like a dump truck at first glance. Which is fine with my trench engineer sentry spam.
Deadsprint is more of an escape tool. I havnt used it yet but after earthquakes or it might be useful not worry about running when you cant without a stim to replenish your stamina.
dead sprint and my heavy armor with friends having the vitality booster and stim guns or the stim booster, I'm never going to fall behind with my light armor brothers and sisters again.
You dont get it Glitch unlimited its called Sprint unlimited, while somone else shoots you with a stim pistol. Its the stim pistol buff booster Love the color theme of this warbond You now have a way to finnaly push/ shoot your fellow helldivers forward to victory
Dead sprint are for the divers such as myself we run till we cant full sprint then stab our necks with democracy and keep sprinting till the jump pack is ready to boost and keep going. A still diver is a dead diver. Keep moving and everything is a weapon. Even shovels.
The smg in my opinion just needs a bigger mag, otherwise the inaccuracy for mid long range is a nuisance but I like it very much, the shotgun either has a bug or your clip is lucky because I had 2 devastators close to me and I had to empty the almost 2 full ‘mags’ to kill them, so for bots I don’t recommend it. But bugs it’s perfect, especially when several hunters are jumping at you.
Halt is interesting because it can do what punisher does while also being able to answer what it can't answer efficiently like bile spewers and hiveguards while also being able to stagger alpha commanders and stalkers with concussive rounds. However it is very clearly not as effective at midrange compared to punisher because I was missing a ton of 1 shots on hunters and warriors from 15-20 meters away and was emptying the cylinder and just barely killing bile spewers and alpha commanders from similar distance. that extra dmg on punisher makes it much more consistent from midrange. I think for automatons, punisher is the way to go even if halt has medium armor pen, the dmg is just not there for midrange encounters and getting up close and personal with heavy devastators is just a bad idea in general. At least punisher can effectively stunlock them. Reprimand is pretty good vs automatons though its small magazine makes it unideal for bugs. its just too easy to run out of ammo vs hunters and alpha commanders. It feels like what the adjudicator should've been for so long minus the long range aspect because the recoil sure ain't gonna allow long range snipes. Its not bad, but definitely more than every other automatic primary in the game. And the loyalist is a secondary purifier with less dmg. There's really not much to say about it other than its good vs bots, okay vs bugs. You just aren't gonna be using the charge up for most situations vs bugs thanks to the hunters, alpha commanders, chargers, bile and nursing spewers, and bile titans chasing you around. As for dead sprint, very fun vs bugs. I was just running around a blitz mission with crossbow and closing up holes, nearly dying, stimming, and running back in. Very fun booster.
so the dead sprint booster pretty much has to be run with the vitality booster. with that it barely drains any HP. cant wait to try that with a full squad.
I think the new armor is bugged. Accuracy increases when you take damage, then reverts when you heal. You still get staggered out of animations and flinched to oblivion when aiming.

it looks great, but its a Light armor and considering the warbound is mostly for bots, it feels weird(bots usually one shot Light armors)

Use Vitality booster it actually helps to reduce that problem.
I sprinted across the entire map and only used one stim lol. I think you should retry it.

Yeah the vitality booster makes a MASSIVE difference on dead sprint, the health drain is damn near unnoticeable when combined with vitality booster.
Vitality booster slows down the health drain from dead sprint. In a group of 4, its a good replacement for stamina booster

Honestly I find it better if they either give is 10 more rounds or slow the overall fire rate down so the recoil is more controllable

Once I saw that the OG PLAS-3 was coming back New and Upgraded from Helldivers 1, I knew that the PLAS-15 would become my new baby!🥰
Plas-3 was my favorite pistol in the first one, crazy I didn't realize this is basically the same thing, good catch!

Halt. Make spread on Fletchette tighter, and make it fire stun slug. Make a slug pen2 also to make it more consistent. Thats all i beg for

I’d rather use a solid set of boosters with zero drawbacks as a team. Not forced to use ones to patch another boosters problems. Great video!
I feel as if most teams are running vitality regardless though. In which case it's a very nice addition to the load outs
The SMG and shotgun are looking better than other weapons on release but they still need help. The SMG needs a little bit less recoil. and a bigger mag. The shotgun needs a hotkey to switch between round types and a bigger mag
I think a better idea instead of Dead Sprint would be a booster called something like Dead Man walking, where after taking fatal damage you stay alive for like 5~ seconds and essentially become immune to damage before you die and basically let you get in a few more kills before you truly die(kinda like Iron Will from DRG)
Dead Sprint is amazing with heavy armor since heavy armor has little stamina. Dead Sprint basically allows heavy armor users to run further
The one thing I really like about the patterns on the exo, pod and the pelican is that they actually lack the yellow and white icons that were on the other patterns.
with the Reprimand it takes ~12 shots to a stripped leg to kill a Behemoth Charger, unfortunately it does not have the 1-handed property so it cannot be used in conjunction with the Ballistic Shield and you can't fire it behind you while jogging away. This thing is less like an SMG and more like a shorter range Adjudicator. The slow rate of fire basically means the semi-auto and burst fire modes are useless as there is plenty of time to stop shooting to conserve ammo/manage recoil, so tap firing the thing is easy and you still have the option to let it sing if something gets too close for comfort.
I believe the Halt's stun rounds affect Chargers if you hit their sack, so that opens them up to being killed by unconventional Support Weapons i.e Autocannon to the front, Machine Guns to the back or a Supply Pod dropped on its head. The Halt is great for a combo I used to run with the pre-nerf Pummeler - Use the Pummeler to stun a Bile Spewer and then whip out the Senator and blow its head off, but the Halt can do that without the need to switch to a Secondary while allowing you to get close enough to max out the damage without getting puked on.
Charged shots from the loyalist don't use more ammo than uncharged shot, so if you're trying to conserve ammo then charged shots are the way to go. You're using more ammo than you need to otherwise.
Honestly dead sprint seems like its almost entirely covered by the potent stims, they give you a speed boost while not draining your stamina, or if you're out of stamina and stim, you get a speed boost and refill your stamina. I don't usually advocate for abusing stimulants, but for helldivers I say its A-Okay.

1:00 the issue is that the stat card of the Purifier shows it's max charged damages, while the Pistol has the correct one.
On semi auto, the purifier doesn't do 500 damages, but 175.
Charged pistol shot does 350 damages
FINALLY a nice balanced warbond! Items for bugs AND bots! Weak booster, but the weapons are very unique! And the armor sets are awesome
I like the combo of the halt stun with the LMG and supply backpack. the halt frees up my nade slot for anything I want so thermite baby then having the plas pistol as backup since it can deal with medium armor make this pretty flexible
If the dead sprint booster would give you a speed boost when stamina runs out, it would make more sense and would be an alternative to the stamina booster.
In my opinion, Halt can be greatest weapon with some research.
Like, shooting charger's butt to stun and safely throw termite, stunning stalkers, supportive stun... It has massive potential and I want you fellas to look into it.
I like the switching ability on the shotgun, i always felt like this should be a thing on the granade launcher and granade pistol
Glad that we got some decent bot killers because there are so many viable weapons for bugs because many of them can be hit with light pen but bots are almost impossible with a low pen primary. Was honestly bored of using plasma punisher and crossbow on bots.
Hope they finally get round to adding the LAS-13 Trident soon as it was so good in HD1
The new SMG really makes me think of a UMP-45. Happy to see a new SMG, needed more of those. Hopefully we'll get more marksman rifles.

deadsprint has saved me once already while using a freedom protects armor, it has helped me escape a situation I could not have without it.
The SMG is so fun, loving the new armor, but they really need to rework armor so I can choose whatever I wanna wear and Select the passive I want to run with that build 😢also shotgun is so fun, once people get the hang of alternating the ammo types they will love it
Armor transmog is dumb, you'd be wearing ladeda light armor with grenades strapped all over you and somehow have electrical resistance

Yeah I wish every warbond had come out this well on launch lol. Purifier is my favorite gun now though, so the future looks bright
If the recoil was not absurdly high, it would be a good gun. Problem is, currently its only good for killing clouds, not acting like an SMG, its just the new better looking adjudicator.
As for the Halt, the stun rounds are the best rounds vs bugs. If you bring the Liberator guard dog, it kills everything you stun for you. You almost never get touched by enemy's.
Bot Front:
1. Adjudicator, Defender/Pummeler, Verdict, Flash Grenade
2. Ballistic Shield, HMG or Quasar, Eagle Airstrike and Orbital Railcannon
3. Medium or Heavy with Recoil control and Explosive resistance.
Bug Front:

I was expecting the smg to be 1 handed, just with more recoil than it already had, but I like how powerful it feels. I saw someone already said it but I really like the Doubt Killer armor and it reminds me of the Jin-Roh Wolf Brigade armor.
You can kill chargers with 2-3 charged shots of the Loyalist btw! It’s wild

If you’re going to have to sacrifice your health to run faster you might as well just stim when you run out of stamina to keep going.
Considering I die in two shots all the time, as I'm a scout armor user, the Death Sprint seem useful. But that drainage speed is a bit fast, so I guess it's really not gonna give me many seconds of sprint.
Finally a great SMG for the knight shield build, though.
THE smg is cool. While it doesn't have the fodder clear the other smgs have it hits like a dump truck at first glance. Which is fine with my trench engineer sentry spam.
Deadsprint is more of an escape tool. I havnt used it yet but after earthquakes or it might be useful not worry about running when you cant without a stim to replenish your stamina.

I love the Halt it has replaced the punisher and cook out for me. Tho I do wish we got a 1 button hot key for switching ammo types.

Dead sprint are for the divers such as myself we run till we cant full sprint then stab our necks with democracy and keep sprinting till the jump pack is ready to boost and keep going. A still diver is a dead diver. Keep moving and everything is a weapon. Even shovels.

The smg in my opinion just needs a bigger mag, otherwise the inaccuracy for mid long range is a nuisance but I like it very much, the shotgun either has a bug or your clip is lucky because I had 2 devastators close to me and I had to empty the almost 2 full ‘mags’ to kill them, so for bots I don’t recommend it. But bugs it’s perfect, especially when several hunters are jumping at you.
For the new SMG, it’s two-handed, it’s not a one-handed SMG. The Doubt Killer looks really good! Nickname Doubt Vader armor

I think the booster would be better If it just gave you double or triple armor boost when you reach 25% health or something like that.
Halt is interesting because it can do what punisher does while also being able to answer what it can't answer efficiently like bile spewers and hiveguards while also being able to stagger alpha commanders and stalkers with concussive rounds. However it is very clearly not as effective at midrange compared to punisher because I was missing a ton of 1 shots on hunters and warriors from 15-20 meters away and was emptying the cylinder and just barely killing bile spewers and alpha commanders from similar distance. that extra dmg on punisher makes it much more consistent from midrange. I think for automatons, punisher is the way to go even if halt has medium armor pen, the dmg is just not there for midrange encounters and getting up close and personal with heavy devastators is just a bad idea in general. At least punisher can effectively stunlock them.
Reprimand is pretty good vs automatons though its small magazine makes it unideal for bugs. its just too easy to run out of ammo vs hunters and alpha commanders. It feels like what the adjudicator should've been for so long minus the long range aspect because the recoil sure ain't gonna allow long range snipes. Its not bad, but definitely more than every other automatic primary in the game.
And the loyalist is a secondary purifier with less dmg. There's really not much to say about it other than its good vs bots, okay vs bugs. You just aren't gonna be using the charge up for most situations vs bugs thanks to the hunters, alpha commanders, chargers, bile and nursing spewers, and bile titans chasing you around.
As for dead sprint, very fun vs bugs. I was just running around a blitz mission with crossbow and closing up holes, nearly dying, stimming, and running back in. Very fun booster.

I think the new armor is bugged. Accuracy increases when you take damage, then reverts when you heal. You still get staggered out of animations and flinched to oblivion when aiming.
We have two new guns that can sit in our gun cabinet and eat dust, not too far away from my expectations at this point
Now I want a plasma stratagem weapon that has the damage of an autocannon in fire mode but you can charge it up for quasar cannon damage.
I'd disagree pretty hard on the dead sprint, I've been using it with the 70 armor medic armor and a jetpack and it is extremely strong for travelling
