I bought a small can of deoxit and it works great, I need to buy some more soon, i always spray it on any new microphone ptt switch just in case and so I won't have to do it later.
I hope that switch ain't as bad as asraic Dirt-Devil had $ them micz different times and all failed no deoxif or diletric clear grease could clean astaticz work about 30 days then dirty again. . Guitar Center sales deoxiit Good video
I have the echo version of this mic, I love it. I had the same issue with the lawn screw couldn't tighten it down and pulled it down on my mouth one day and because it wasn't tight the screw flung off and I think it went out the window. I can't find it. Where can I buy the short screw because I desperately need one?
I would like an echo one for my old Magnum 257 .if they would work with it .stock mic is not very good .I also use that cleaner work great they have a gold can that lubricants to .

Yes i had two kpo nm532dx mics both started changing channels on 2 different radios, a little deox on the inside of ptt switch fixed both./ 958 mi
