Any normal player would adapt and learn to improve their fundamentals but if you're watching this video, you already know Dale's response to any kind of situation like this.

He is a pure Gimmick player. He even plays Zoners very gimmicky if you look how he plays JP or the Belmonts in Smash. He has no true fundamentals and that's why he folds so hard as soon as he gets pressured with stuff like Tick Throws, Shimmys, whiff punishes etc. He struggles hard to understand what he is doing wrong, so he gets angry at people that expose his whole game plan of being gimmicky in hope his opponents never understand fast enough what he is doing to counter it during the set. That's probably also the reason why he almost always hits a brick wall in ranked, because people in Diamond understand very fast that Daley isn't a true threat with his play style and just overrun him.

For me, I use it on charge characters like Guile. For the life of me I can't wrap my head around not dashing so I don't lose my charge so it's very handy to have quick access to it
Some people hate on modern players because they feel like modern has to put in less work for the combo execution. To some extent that might be true, but a game usually is decided by who is the better player anyways so don't worry about the haters. Since I'm old af I use classic but modern in general is a blessing because it grows the community.
