Looking at LTGs JP play, he's not even really using JP to his full potential. JPs strength is not only being able to pressure from full screen and have some pretty terrifying zoning options but using his teleports to threaten either more pressure or go for a risky but sneaky jump in attack to rack up damage and set up even more walls of defense to repeat that cycle. Being able to threaten at all ranges is what makes JP such a scary character to fight for pretty much everyone. Instead he opts to throw out a projectile then jump back when the opponent approaches. Not WALK back but JUMP back. This signals to me that LTG does not feel comfortable approaching or attacking, choosing to go all in on Defense but in the process he just walks himself into the corner which is devastating in this game and especially devastating to JP who has mediocre reversal options with his high recovery counter, having to spend meter on a super, or going all in with Drive Impact. His attitude on meter is weird too, like as the sets went on he was using meter more often but with the way that Meter and Super are now not linked anymore, burning meter to control space is something that JP should be taking advantage of but he just doesnt do it. He gets the basics of what JP wants, set up walls in neutral, but he refuses to even take the slightest bit of risk which causes him to get thrown and jumped in on all the time. Even when he sets up snap, he uses the light version and not the heavy to threaten a possible teleport to keep the opponent guessing. He just hopes his zoning is enough but with JP you gotta play more devious than that to get his true potential rolling.
Crazy thing is, JP actually has a counter that counters both strikes AND throws. So you get in after all that work and then still kinda have to respect the pressure. Not to mention that his level 1 is strike invincible.
He was so hype for this, just knew he was gonna be beating people easily. Can't fathom the simple fact, he just isn't as good as he thinks. It's hilarious he thinks Tekken 8 and MK 1 will be any different

His attitude on meter is weird too, like as the sets went on he was using meter more often but with the way that Meter and Super are now not linked anymore, burning meter to control space is something that JP should be taking advantage of but he just doesnt do it.
He gets the basics of what JP wants, set up walls in neutral, but he refuses to even take the slightest bit of risk which causes him to get thrown and jumped in on all the time. Even when he sets up snap, he uses the light version and not the heavy to threaten a possible teleport to keep the opponent guessing. He just hopes his zoning is enough but with JP you gotta play more devious than that to get his true potential rolling.
I legitimately have to wonder what LTG's definition of a good match/opponent is: if he even has one.

Crazy thing is, JP actually has a counter that counters both strikes AND throws. So you get in after all that work and then still kinda have to respect the pressure. Not to mention that his level 1 is strike invincible.

What difference does it make RQ in 6 from 5, in SF5 you got sent to Blacklist pool as well for RQ so what's the difference? You can just RQ 3 times every day and switch accounts and never get sent to that blacklist
