The Civic will always feel more playful and nimble simply because it is a smaller/lighter vehicle. This 7th generation Accord isn't bad and drives much better than the 8th generation. We found the steering to be sharp and price with the visibility to be class leading with minimal blind spots. These older Accord simply make excellent used cars.
I have a 2007 with 198,000. Still runs like a champ. Engine is easy to work on. I’ve had to replace the starter about a year ago and I just replaced the a/c condenser. Love my car.
I love this gen of the Honda Accord , it looks better to me than the 08 model specifically the exterior! I just wish they would've put an aux port in this car and would be PERFECT
Justré u can get a 20 dollar fm Bluetooth and aux plug thing that goes into the power outlet kinda sucks u have to use one of the two power outlets but it also ads a usb plug which is cool u can find it on amazon just search "bluetooth adapter for car"
An iPod/iPhone Aux kit is available through third party vendors and it plugged into the 14-pin aux port at the back of the radio. It emulated the XM tuner, without disabling XM, and even displayed audio text info from an iPod or iPhone.
Jordan H you also need an expensive dash kit if you replace the radio and it ruins the look of the car. Also, many of the dash kits caused havoc with the EX trims that had dual zone AC.
Bought my wife a 2006 Honda Accord Ex black with the ivory interior and she loves it. Got a great deal on it too, for me being a first time buyer no cosigner.
Zach Dechazal it's not the one that kids like. He's driving the "sulev" which is the ultra low emissions vehicle, and you know what that means. great gas saver and clean burn but not meant to be the fastest car
I just bought my first Honda. An 04 Accord in the exact same color scheme. It's nowhere near as clean as the one in the video...but so far, 7th Gen Honda Accord is a beautiful machine to drive and look at.
My aunt had a dark blue 2006 EX-L with the gray interior and I just loved that car. Definitely my favorite gen accord as well. It was so comfortable, the quality was A+, and it was so much fun to drive!
@@97og1 I found the car but my gf bought, it was for her. Believe it or not, she literally owned the car for 2 months and some 96 year old dude totaled it while it was parked. She made more money on the deal than the dealer she bought it from lol, and its barely damaged. Shes giving it to me and Im going to fix it myself for cheap and just keep driving it. All it needs is a new bumper, rear fender, rear drivers side axle, new rotor, maybe rear drivers side suspension and thats it. All the other stuff is cosmetic. Ill just buy a cheap parts car for like a grand or less and just swap stuff and it'll be as good as it was before. Edit: all it needed was a rear subframe, new bumper, and paint. Cost me 2k

My family has a 2004 Honda Accord 2.0 I-VTEC. We bought it from the dealer brand new and it was the second Accord the dealer sold. My car is exactly the same, but it's an 06 Accord. It's black exterior which perfectly matches the same interior color of the car in the video. My car is really clean on the interior apart of some scratches showing in the fake wood safe box. I love my car, it has 170k miles driven. The only issue it has is airbag warning light and during the winter the o2 sensors misbehaves, but I'll be fixing those this winter.
I had an 06 sapphire blue pearl V6 6-speed sedan, and before that, a coupe--both great cars. I now have a gold 07 I4 manual EX-L, with fogs, V6 blade wheels, and cold-air intake. I know the Accord V6's were faster, but this car is faster than most V6's, and the mileage is improved. I expect to drive it many more years.
Can’t believe it had been 8 years since you’ve drove that and I started talking in 2012. And We got a rental Honda Pilot also probably 2012 & years ago nostalgia? Maybe.
My favorite color combination is carbon bronze metallic with an ivory leather interior. I would prefer a V-6 over a 4 cylinder due to traction and stability control. But I would want the rare 6 speed manual sedan. The only downside to the sedans (which Honda still does on the 2013) is the one piece folding rear seat. I have a friend that has an '05 EX coupe with the automatic and boy does it move. I love the look of these.
Missing my 7th gen so bad for it was the best car I ever had. The 7th gen were built like tanks. So reliable, I only changed the battery, tires and spark plugs in my 2 years of ownership.

Hey sofyan, 06 & 07 accords are my favorite year accords. How does this one compare to the civic in terms of driving dynamics? like visibility and agility?
Just bought a sapphire blue pearl 07 EXL with the V6 yesterday. Only 58,000 miles. Darn near mint cond. I have heard the 2.4 is peppy for a 4 cyl, but I would opt for the 3.0 V6 with 244 HP. Why go with the 4 when you can get all that extra HP without sacrificing much in MPG?
I never knew there's an EXL 2.4 engine version. Mine is 6 cylinder and I'm in love with my car. It's also an EXL version, white with same interior colors as shown in the video. The main difference I guess, is the engine size; I feel that 2.4 engine goes a bit "rough" compared with the 3.0 version. I feel mine is smoothly roaring under the hood and of course, response is completely different. excellent review.
I have the basic 2.4 4 cylinder model I wish I would of got the v6 with moon roof but at the time I didn't have a car so I went to small dealer wasn't sure of what I wanted I was going to buy the a Volks wagon Jetta but it was a diesel so I changed my mind and got this as my next option.

Just bought a 2007 with 129k on it relatively lower miles it’s been good so far but I feel like I’ve down graded in the ride quality and transmission department. I’m coming from a 2002 Camry that rode smooth as silk and seats that were like sofas . Honda automatic transmissions also don’t shift near as smooth as a Toyota transmissions nor do they hold up like the indestructible 4spd Toyota auto
