I just got a goldendoodle puppy too and, the trainer said you should take up the food and water bowl after eating. And then take them out 10 minutes after.

Feed him in his crate! It makes it a lot easier for him to like his crate
Yes!! We did that for a while and it helped so much! Now he's used to the crate! ;)
I have a golden doodle that is one year old and we actually use Johnsons baby full body wash and it makes him smell great and doesn't dry out his skin!!!

Put his crate next to your bed with the snuggle puppy stuffed animal. It helps a lot.
We tried to but we couldn't fit it through the doorway haha!! Luckily he doesn't mind the crate as much now, though! ;)

He's adorable! My girl is my third Golden, she was a snuggle bug as a puppy and still has to be on someone all the time. You're going to love his personality 💕 Goldens & Doodles are two of the best breeds for sweet, loving & goofy personalities. I want a sibling for my girl now, I miss those puppy months!
In case you don't already know, he'll need raised bowls when he gets bigger to keep the strain off his neck & back.
That is so sweet! Yes, we can already tell he’s about an equal amount of sweet, and silly haha! And he’s actually grown quite a bit since I uploaded this video, so we got him some raised bowls!👍🏻
Congrats on the Golden Doodle! I have one of my own and make sure to feed them food with wheat in it, because Golden Doodles have been found if they are eating food without wheat they get health problems with their heart. Also, the issue with him being in the crate and continues to bark and cry just put a blanket over the crate that covers it completely and it makes them feel secluded. I hope this helps!

I have an F1B miniature goldendoodle. She is 2.5 now. Super intelligent and just a gentle dog. My husband and I have a 4 year old that turns 5 next month and a 3 year old. She never is rough with them. Just the best dog you could imagine.

If he's only 9 weeks old, yes... He's going to be in the upper 80lb range. My doodle was about that size when I first got him and he's 85lbs now.
Now EVERYONE is a dog expert online, but just trying to be helpful from a person who owns two Goldendoodles:
1) NEVER EVER EVVVVER wash a doodle that has not been brushed out FIRST
2) Brush them at LEAST twice a week, some coats need more. Slicker Brush and a Comb, the comb is a MUST have as doodles mat from the skin out, a slicker brush alone with only make the top coat look pretty. Please do some research on doodle grooming its so critical and SOOOO many owners neglect their dogs in grooming.
3) Get rid of that rope/tennis ball toy. The puppy will start chewing the rope, then eat it. String from the rope can get tangled up in their intestines and cause a very expensive pet visit. The tennis ball, while fine for a game of fetch, its not fine for them to chew on. The outer part of the ball acts like sand paper and removes the enamel from your dogs teeth. Talk to your vet, they can verify both of those statements.. Rope toys are SOOOO dangerous if you just leave them laying around for the dog to play with whenever.

Ace was so energetic considering that you guys just got him and he was new to his surrounding. When I first got my puppy she was super shy and didn’t want to play that much
Haha yes, he was super playful...he definitely had a lot of resting time too. He slept quite a bit. That wasn't really filming though lol.

Congrats! I’ve had my own Goldendoodle for 3 months. A tip is getting a bowl where you can change the height. For when your dog gets olde you can raise the height and he won’t get neck problems.

The best part about doodles, is the haircuts XD I have a Black schnoodle named Tillie (she is almost 11 months old) and I love to groom her XD and then of course I have my miniature schnauzer who is almost 3. I love them so much XD best of luck with the puppy!

First night he will cry and whimper. Keep the create close to you so he isnt scared. Also, you can motivate him and associate good experience with the create by feeding him inside the create. Our goldendoodle also sticks his nose under the couch. And digs his nose in him bed.
