Going into the 2005-06 season (when Carolina won the cup v Edmonton in 7 Games), there were 16 NHL players that had 1400 career regular season points, since that show aired, Jagr is on that list with 1921 career regular season points (he just retired recently). Two more on this list since that show aired and still active today (Sid the kid Crosby and Ovi).
For the following 5 Years in Remember When, I would have guessed the following. David Stern becomes NBA Commissioner: 1985 Mike Tyson bites Evander Holyfield twice: 1997 Nebraska 62-24 Victory: 1994 Chicago White Sox AL Rookie Of The Year: 1986 Atlanta Flames relocate to Calgary: 1980
On the Stolen Base question, since that show aired, only Jose Reyes in 2007 with the Mets stole at least 75 bases in a season. Reyes stole 78 that year. None have stolen at least 75 bases in a season since Reyes in 2007.
@@gameshows5973 I dont get how people think this. The dude worked in sports and at ESPN for decades. Of course hes going to just accrue a ton of knowledge about something he was passionate about.
The questions in the Schwab showdown were extremely hard I knew a few of them but would not have stump Schwab and Craig played really good but just had a little tough time in the Schwab showdown good try Craig good try
He also screwed himself though. The other guy has 2 nhl rings for working as an accountant for an nhl team yet he picks mlb for the ultimate year leaving an nhl guy the nhl year question
Stuart Scott was not annoying I watched him for years on espn with sports centre NBA games Monday night countdown and stump the Schwab so don’t say he’s annoying cause he’s not he was an awesome guy
This is an underrated sports game show. R.I.P. Stuart Scott and Howie Schwab.
Didn't know Schwabie was a Young and the Restless fan like me!! Rest in peace Stu and Schawbie thanks for the nostalgia TV. ❤
Same here. I’m actually watching this after yesterday’s YR 😂
I know I’ll be asking Joshua Morrow about Stu’s golf game if I ever meet him.
I'm willing to bet that was a compormise between Mrs. Schawb
Thank you so much for this vid bro your awesome R.I.P Schwab you’ll be missed so much ❤
More of these please

Possibly Season 3: June 20, 2006 airdate?

I don't think they fed Schwab the answers but they definitely gave him categories that they "suggested he study" before each week.
they can't do that. If they did, the producers and probably Stuart and Schwab would have been in the slammer.

I'm only now realizing that there was no point in keeping track of Schwab's score in the first round lol
something tells me an unaired April Fools joke involved Schwab coming in last
23:11
19:07 that shit type wild you name the away park and can’t name the man’s home park
playing devil's advocate but it seemed too easy to be right for this show
@@gameshows5973He knew it was their home stadium but couldn't remember the name.
I can eat a half dozen saltines in 1 min

Jeez not one football question until 17 mins. Thats crazy
You're playing against a guy with a Stanley Cup ring, why would you let him have the NHL?
“Let’s try, “what up, Fifty’”
Stu just laughs at Schwab. “You’re so white.”

Feel bad for Vinny, he had tougher questions and years are hard to remember. Not a fan of that game

I miss stuart scott
Schwab - act like you've been there before. Too smug.
He’s so relieved with every correct answer like a wrong one could end his job.
Anyone else think Craig looks a bit like Jeff Daniels?
If Stuart Scott wasn’t so annoying this show would have been a hit.
