      ​@@AnsonBeekerstaurt scott defined sportscenter in so many ways. He also publicly battled cancer and gave some really moving speeches about family and life until the end. If you wanted to understand you'd look into it tho

      Im glad I wasn't the only one that wanted to see these again!! They bring out all these silly game shows like "Snake Oil", and they remake everything that shouldn't be remade..why not bring back a sports trivia game..the amount of information to pull from is endless..someone needs to do it!

    My childhood best friend and I always watched this show growing up. He passed, Stuart passed and now the Schwab.
    R.I.P to all. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for this show.

    This came on everyday after school I was in like 7th grade and really getting into sports and watching on TV. Schwab was extremely knowledgeable. I learned a lot from listening to him and Stuart was just so smooth, a fantastic host for this show. I always wished this was brought back in the late 2000’s or early 2010 years before Stu passed. RIP fellas 🫡

    That Bill Parcells question is CRAZY obscure. Parcells did indeed coach at Army for 3 years. To know that Parcells started his entire coaching career with a 1 year stint at an NAIA with 1,000 students is insane.

    Was nascar really that popular in the early 2000s? If this show happened today the only questions would be NFL, NBA, and college football.

      Yes NASCAR was massive in the late 90s and early 2000s.
      Also ESPN cared about covering all sports back then, even the ones they didn’t have the rights to, it was a serious sports network not just a hype machine.
      All of tv has gone in that direction tbh, Court TV used fo be about covering court proceedings, the History Channel used to be about covering actual history etc, you can probably mark the debut of Ancient Aliens as the point where things started to go off the rails…

      @@TheLocalLt I don't have any numbers to bear this out, but I sense there was more of a secondary level of fan in the late 90's and early 2000's. Like people who were aware of it and followed it without being a hardcore fan. Now it seems like you're either all-in or all-out of nascar.
