Im glad I wasn't the only one that wanted to see these again!! They bring out all these silly game shows like "Snake Oil", and they remake everything that shouldn't be remade..why not bring back a sports trivia game..the amount of information to pull from is endless..someone needs to do it!
My childhood best friend and I always watched this show growing up. He passed, Stuart passed and now the Schwab. R.I.P to all. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for this show.
I remember Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn with Max Kellerman as host, Playmakers, and Beg Borrow and Deal vividly, but I do not remember this show for some reason.
The French open question is literally 2 weeks before Nadal wins his first of an eventual 14 French Opens in 19 years. Only 4 people can be added to this list 😵💫
How sad is it that people would rather watch 20 year old reruns of live TV, than current live TV. Kinda says all you need to know about how far places like ESPN have fallen.
I cannot believe this randomly showed up on my feed….Bob is my coworker and I never knew he did this!! I clicked on it wanting to reminisce about this show and then said, “Wait. Did they just say Bob Chalfin?!”
This came on everyday after school I was in like 7th grade and really getting into sports and watching on TV. Schwab was extremely knowledgeable. I learned a lot from listening to him and Stuart was just so smooth, a fantastic host for this show. I always wished this was brought back in the late 2000’s or early 2010 years before Stu passed. RIP fellas 🫡
That Bill Parcells question is CRAZY obscure. Parcells did indeed coach at Army for 3 years. To know that Parcells started his entire coaching career with a 1 year stint at an NAIA with 1,000 students is insane.

Yes NASCAR was massive in the late 90s and early 2000s. Also ESPN cared about covering all sports back then, even the ones they didn’t have the rights to, it was a serious sports network not just a hype machine. All of tv has gone in that direction tbh, Court TV used fo be about covering court proceedings, the History Channel used to be about covering actual history etc, you can probably mark the debut of Ancient Aliens as the point where things started to go off the rails…
@@TheLocalLt I don't have any numbers to bear this out, but I sense there was more of a secondary level of fan in the late 90's and early 2000's. Like people who were aware of it and followed it without being a hardcore fan. Now it seems like you're either all-in or all-out of nascar.
Stuart and the Schwab together again 🙏 RIP SCHWAB
yea they died
😢😭I miss em yo
@Igotwelched
Why you high fiving their deaths? Not cool man.
@@williamcosbyIII Those are praying hands
I looked up Scwab's wiki page not realizing that he just passed. Damn.
RIP Schwab
You and Stuart finally reunited
That's exactly why I am here.
I was a young 10/11 year old kid watching this back in the day late at night. loved sports trivia even then.
2 legends gone. Back when espn was ESPN and not just people talking over each other for an hour and sportscenter
Legends? Lol
Who are the legends?

I forgot how smooth Stu’s delivery was. Truly a gem.
Man, back when ESPN was great. I miss this show so much! R.I.P. Stuart and Schwab.
This video being in my recommended is how I found out about The Schwab dying. RIP, you legend!
Same , I used to watch this show all the time when I was kid staying up late on school nights

Patting myself on the back for knowing Latrell Sprewell on the very 1st clue. 7 points for this guy.
miss this era of espn everyday
We all do! Back when the channel was actually worth watching
RIP Schwab
Thanks for all the memories big guy. Tell Stu we still miss him ❤❤

RIP Howie and Stu. Back when ESPN was the best channel on television.
Completely forgot about this show. Loved it growing up. Can’t believe the Schwab just passed. RIP
I love how the eliminations were straight and to the point: “Ken, gotta let you go man, gtfo”
#RIP Howie Schwab. Thanks for being you.
This show was one of my favorites of the ESPN cohort at the time. I learned so much watching this show. RIP Stuart, RIP Schwab.
Used to love this show because at that moment I knew nothing about sports and I learned so much!

Forgot about this show until it just being recommended. Guy was crazy with his sports knowledge. Miss Cheap Seat a lot too. RIP
Man....i was 4 years old in 2005 when I watch Stump The Schwab and I miss Stuart Scott.
Childhood memories of ESPN!
Damn this was before even Rafa won his first French Open! RIP to both Scott and Schwab, both pillars of my childhood. Miss this version of ESPN too.
This show needs to come back. Too much sports drama need some fun on espn these days
Been binge watching this on UA-cam since Schwab passed away. Hope Stuart and Schwab are playing this in Heaven
Man, this getting recommended the day after he passes away is both cruel and fitting. Rest in peace, Howie

RIP Schwab and Stuart
didnt know he passed today. wow. rip schwab. one of my favorite shows on espn
😢i didn't know and wasn't ready either 😭
to have this amount of knowledge across so many sports. Most sports fans know a ton about 1, maybe 2. This guy is just off the chart.
Why can't ESPN make good shows like this anymore
Because they sold out
This show is why I dominate sports trivia. Lol I grew up watching this
I was SCREAMING "Mario Lemieux" after the "six scoring titles" part LOL
This was an awesome show! RIP Scwab
Two absolute legends. RIP Schwab and Big Stu.
Oddly enough all three of the contestants are also dead.
That Bill Parcells question is CRAZY obscure. Parcells did indeed coach at Army for 3 years. To know that Parcells started his entire coaching career with a 1 year stint at an NAIA with 1,000 students is insane.
And now he's gone! May he continue to lord over us with his Sports knowledge in the after life.
The fact that Nadal wasn’t the first name out of their mouths when talking French open really dates this video
I was able to write down all 24 MVPs off the top of my head.... 24/24. Much tougher live remembering the names that have been said already though.
I learned alot of sports lore from this show.
Same bro
Just pulled this up randomly not knowing Schwab died last month until I saw the comments. RIP to both legends😢

I actually knew the Tony Stewart question 😂 I finally got one right over the Shwab lol RIP to both of them!
At 18:52 that card flip was too cool man
The who am I is ridiculous
God bless both Stewart and Howie Swamp. He was a human encyclopedia when it came to sports.
Bob used his pass way to early that was a huge mistake
always best, RIP.
Schwab was recently on a sportsbetting show with THE COACH, SCHWAB IS GOAT
This is a gut punch r.i.p
frank the tank from barstool is like the schwabs messed up nephew
How insane is it to get a French Open men's winner questions and Nadal isn't one of them
Lol, yeah this show is harder now since we have to erase 19 years of sports to get the answers
In what world is $5000 “a lot of paper” 2004 was a wild time
Amusing to think at this point Nadal had yet to win his first French Open (but would later that year) so is not on the list.
RIP Schwab!
Back when ESPN was actually good.
The true patriots category was pretty easy since I’m a die hard patriots fan I got 2 out of the 3 questions in the category
2005 looks like 1995
When I saw this in the final showdown I did really good with the questions but I would not have stumped Schwab
Rafa Nadal really proved that “Spaniards love the french open” point that Schwab made
Can’t believe they missed Kareem
Rip stuart Scott
Mike: “pass”
Man I read this comment before that part of the episode came up I couldn’t stop laughing the entire time 😂
Stu and now Howie just died :( rip
The Schwab is rocking an old school Washington Redskins now Commanders jersey.

Also I’m pretty sure the longest NASCAR track is and pretty much always was The Glen, unless they mean tracks only designed for NASCAR
Stuart Scott and the Schwab. Stumping God and the angels in heaven
Not so much. Stuart left his old black wife for a white gold digger.

Damn had no idea the Schwab passed away
RIP to Stuart Scott too espn hasn’t been the same without him
