Very nice, simple and concise. All I needed was the merge aspect and everything was explained clearly without all the extra crap that people usually put into these videos. Quick & dirty, perfect! ☺
Glad you liked the style. Thanks for the nice feedback.
Thank you for this tutorial, it really helped me out of a pinch. Much appreciated it.
Good to hear. Thanks for the comment.

Dang, this is a golden oldie tutorial. Thanks for the kind words! 😎
That's awesome, what an easy solution,..I just recorded last night using 2 camera's and external audio capture. I used the clap method and I think this will be much easier,..thank you!

You're welcome.
Wow this video saved me A LOT of time, was already trying to eyeball für a couple of minutes.
Awesome! Glad to hear that. Thanks for leaving a nice comment.
I have a question for you, and I'm VERY new to this so maybe there is an easier way. I'm thinking to lay my subject out on the table. Do the voice recording part of it. Change subjects, and do the voice recording part for that subject. So I've got 7 or 8 voice recordings. Now I can go into my phone video camera and create the video clips on each
of those subjects. So if I my voice audio recording comes to about a minute. I can either make my silent raw video recording the same duration as my voice clip. So I can sync voice to audio for each clip and it should come out 1:1. The video plays ▶️. The viewer sees the subject being spoken about change at the same time it moves into the next audio clip on the next peice.
OR I already know the duration of all my voice recordings. Coming from my voice recording App and I can set that clip to play for 30 seconds IF that's the length of the corresponding audio.
My cell phone will be on a tripod. I've got a Bluetooth remote control to stop start video, so I can hit the pause ⏸️ ✋️ button as close to the end duration I want possible, with MAYBE a little trim to make my transition s as seamless as possible.. Is my thinking and the way I'm going about this the best way? I haven't made my 1st movie yet, but I have been fine tuning my on camera voice, pronunciation of words and the audio settings themselves. Now that I've written an entire college essay in the UA-cam comments section thanks and have a wonderful day. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi, sorry, I know this is an old video, but I'm wondering about when you merge video and audio in Premiere Pro and it creates two audio tracks even though it was only one, do you know why? Can I delete one, or do I need both?
Thank You
You're welcome
YOUR A LIFE SAVER
😊
cool
Thanks a lot Boone! But I have a question for you: why does it creates other track channels? Maybe you can help me... I have some footage with 4 channels of audio, and I synchronized it the way you did, but when I merge it, it will duplicate my 4 original channels making it a 8 track clip. Do you know of a way to merge without this happening? Thanks
Not sure. You can Alt+click to select and delete the individual audio clips that you don't want. That's probably the route I would go.
I have the same issue... But it creates 26 channels! It is insane
Hello
I am a new sub to your channel.
I liked how you explained it so simply and made it so short.
I am planning to record some videos professionally.
Can you share some of your experience.
I have few questions in my mind. It looks like you use the macbook pro.
I am planning to use the filmic pro but after upgrading my macbook.
Some people say to buy the mac with this highest configuration like the ssd, ram, etc.
And some say to buy the base model and buy an egpu like nvidia or amd for better graphic perfomance for editing in 4K.
I personally think the egpu will perform better. But i am not able to make the final call.
I will be choosing the mac with 16gb ram and 256gb ssd maaybe.
What would you recommend based on your experience?
Definitely get an SSD.
Thank you
You're welcome!
You made my work easy
I was struggling up and down yoi deserve my Subscribe and like

But I stil have one problem I don't if premiere Pro have solution
Mostly when I record my book I want to revert it ot to change the size of the frame to 9:16 or 16:9 without cutting other part of it
Nice video🚩🥰🚩
Thanks for the nice comment. It is much appreciated.
i need this to make my videos timelapsed while putting music over them i havent tried this yet but i hope it works i let you know if it does
Did it work?
@@BooneLovesVideo nah but I used Microsoft video editor for windows ten and it was super simple Soo 🙂
Which Adobe premiere pro ver did you used..?
This was a long time ago. So whatever version was available when I published the video to UA-cam.
Can one go straight to merging before synchronizing, or synchronizing must be done first?
You just blew my mind.
...and I'm pretty sure you can't synchronize after you've merged. But hey, give it a try.
Boone Loves Video I mean does going straight to merging then cutting the part with no video serve the same function as synchronizing?
@@superseiyan No. Merging just combines the clips. Syncing them matches the audio between the two.
How long does the render take for let's say an hour long video? Thanks
Depends on a lot of factors, including your computer, the formats involved.
Boone Loves Video thanks, I suppose for the same thing you did in the video, an hour long?
Which application is this?
Much older version of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Can I do this on phone?
I don't think so.
can i now the application name please
Adobe Premiere Pro
its blacked out for me. not letting me synchronize for some reason
Hmm, not sure why. Try clicking the source button again.
@@BooneLovesVideo got it. It’s because I had many cuts in my audio/ video clips. Is their a way to actually sync them together even if they are cut? Or is it better to just manually cut them to match?
What kind of external mic can i use for my youtube video. I use a samsung phone....
Thankx alot brother:)
No problem. Thanks for watching.
