@@kyalilmomma glue the battery pack to the outside of your waist and glue the lights around the skirt (hot glue doesn't damage the lights) or if you want want a battery pack on your waist just put it in your bra or something

I really like the skirt and I was wondering if you could make a top part to the tulle skirt and connect the two...basically i'm asking if you'd make a tulle dress for [like] prom/homecoming. I have a school dance in May and I would like to make my own tulle dress.
I really like the effect of the knot-technique, the skirt becomes so fluffy. It's much cuter than the the more complicated sewing technique. However, I'm not the biggest fan of the knots themselves. Does anyone here think it would be possible to cut out strips, as in this video, and sew them on the backside of a satin ribbon. In order to get rid of the knots?
You can see it on a waistband that you've made. Cut out the strips the same as she did. Pin them to the waistband & sew! But then you would have to prob put in a zipper
love this and it makes it more easier adding more than one strip together :)

She probably just weaved batterie powered fairy lights in that's what it looks like at least and is really easy to do

About how much for the elastic band and 12 yds of tutu fabric
The elastic band depends on the measurement of your own waist as she explains. Pull it tight around your waist and mark it. Thanks where you cut it.
How much tulle should we buy?
I used about 12 yards for a very full look! You could do less depending on what you prefer 🙌
