  • Over the past two years, I've been writing a piece entitled "The Outs and Ins: A Study in the Ineffable." It's a song cycle about the inability of words to define the human experience. The show is comprised of ten stand alone songs, which center around experiences that individuals have had in contrast to the labels that are used to define them.
Earlier this year, the show was produced at The University of Michigan for the first time. Here is a video from that performance.
This is "To Be a Man" performed by Blake Bojewski.

The technique is impeccable. The lyrics feel very real. This is such a great combo of great song-writing and a great actor to perform it.
