Hello everybody, because I had a meltdown when someone explained this to me I figured I’d share for those who also didn’t catch this. In the beginning of the show (Learn to do It scene) Dmitry says that he’s not much for bowing and well... he bowed “to someone... once” 😭❤️

@@hikarinatsu in the scene “learn to do” to Dmitry says to Vlad that he bowed to someone once, then they start to bicker. At the same time Anya starts bowing, she wasn’t paying attention to the argument. The bow was dismissed by she was a natural. Of course we know it’s force of habit
Anyway.... in this scene when Anya remembers that he bowed it means that she was the person Dmitry bowed to once. It’s a sweet realization because of there fate to be together. I love ❤️ this show for all the little things. I hope this helped.

I just love how Christy tote immerses herself in character everytime she performs. She’s a bonafide star. And with Derek I always literally have hearts in my eyes everytime I watch him. They’re both just so talented and deserve much much more. I’m going to always regret not getting to catch their live broadway performance.

I think the same thing. Since Disney keeps doing remakes of their films, why can't Anastasia have its own live action too? It's a classic of animated cinema and a hit musical. It would be great to see this filmed someday. But, with the original cast. I would swoon.
I think disney bought the rights so they could do just that.... at least I hope that was one of the reasons...

I don't know why but every single damn time when I hear this song I cry. Doesn't matter where I am, what I'm thinking. It gets me every single time. It's the only song like that. And it's not even sad. It's gorgeous. It's just such a symbolic piece to me, it somehow represents the whole time I spent in New York and the most amazing, magical night of my life when I saw Anastasia. And it also represents all my dreams and hopes. I want to go back to New York someday, snd think "I knew even then, in a crowd of thousands I'd find you again" because I don't think I'm ever going back and it's such a precious thing to me. If I never get to be an actress my whole life has been a waste.

Jean Lee you should watch it. Its not quite as good as this, but the 1997 its based on is still a good movie. Though it freaks my inner 90s child out to NO end that I have it on my PHONE now when I used to have to put it in the vcr and it was never rewound either lol.

Tbh, it's rare for a man to have such a good solo voice. Most of the men I've heard sound much better in quartets. This is fantastic, I'm in love now and will have impossibly high standards.
