If he doesn’t want to make it work and be patient (I mean he’s got 2 yrs, based on options, with good money; doesn’t seem like SF really has to negotiate to get 2024/2025, except if he doesn’t step on the field) then maybe finding value from trade is worth having a team that WANTS to be there. Idk that’s the main reason I can see a trade imminent, not definite; if BA remains in his trajectory to refuse to give his services. The contract options are there right, so it’s not about getting a contract for upcoming szns, rather the money available for him, or maybe it’s in the guarantees offered for a future extension🤷♂️
