A few reasons: there are conflicting reports about what happened so it's dangerous to discuss things second and third hand. It doesn't have anything to do with the meta. We chose not to discuss the individual so as not to celebrate them, we discussed the deck briefly and moved on. Once the judges/ffg investigate and/or we have more information we might discuss it. At the very least, there's no room in this game for poor sportsmanship and we've been about that on many of our podcasts and videos.
I played (Cad Red) against the Green Quinlan at Pastimes in Chicago in round 2 and it was an awesome deck. Shout out to Grumpy, very cool person and fun to play with. I got absolutely rocked. General's Blade + Huyang was an absolutely devastating combo on Quinlan. It was as cool as you all are saying.
@@ultimatewildcatfan is it the same person? The name I saw wasn't the name of the person I played. I've definitely heard about that. Wasn't sure if this was related to my comment.
@@ultimatewildcatfan Not sure why you're tagging it here on this comment. GrumpyElephant won a different PQ. We heard conflicting reports about the Vegas winner and didn't have enough information to address it. We talked about the Iden Blue as a deck within the meta and moved on. We'll be following the story.
Legopizza won with Han1yellow (rebel package) He shared his list afterwards and I put it together and won PQ Van with it the next day. Great list. I split the finals so it registered me as second but I was 8-1 up to that point. Lost to Jango TT round 1, then beat him in top 4. I don't think I can make Vegas unfortunately so the split was my best option
You're never going to get over it unless you face it. Playing against better people will make you better. Also, the community is really friendly and I've never seen anyone make someone feel bad for losing. I say give it a shot. If you're in the northeast come say hi
@ that makes me feel loads better honestly. I'm coming from yugioh and have been called a trash player and the person was mad that he got paired with me.
Interested which SWU events you are going to in London. Presume I might see you at the PQ in Dark Sphere? If you are in London on a Tuesday, come join us for some practise games at Loading Bar (Stoke Newington)

Another great podcast from you guys. I appreciate your work. But I was wondering, that the unsportsmanship in Vegas was not discussed.

I am the Fargo PQ winner. RT chomp was close on getting the list, but a few cards off. In fact, it is missing an entire card.

Are you guys following any Canadian results? My friend just won a PQ with Sabine Green in Vancouver bc
That came in late on Sunday or even possibly we didn't get it until Monday morning. We definitely follow Canada!

I am dreading going to a pq because I am scared of getting obliterated. How do I fix this mindset?
