Hi Karen & Irvine- love this video. Such a stunning place to visit and yet another place to add to our ever expanding bucket list! Love the drone footage- very inspiring. Happy travels, Richard & Jackie
Hi Richard & Jackie many thanks for your kind comment it’s very much appreciated. Bunree is very beautiful. We do love the different dimension drone footage brings to videos. Hope your visit to Cornwall is going to plan. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
You popped up on my feed and I subscribed straight away . Living just 30 mins away from Luss , it's a regular drive for me . Was lovely to see your travels here . Happy motoring . Love your motorhome 😘
Hi Jed many thanks for your kind comment and we’re glad you enjoyed the video. Bunree is a very nice site indeed and we were very lucky with the weather. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Janet thanks for your very kind comment. The weather certainly does make such a difference. We were away for 3 nights and had two fantastic days of weather and on the other one we didn’t leave the van as it poured all day long. Hope you guys are well. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Irvine and Karen, just found Your youtube channel, we’ve been up in Bunree, Beautiful campsite, and stunning drive up there, best wishes to You both, mybe bump into You both one day on our travels, best wishes from Bruce and Linda from Livingston 😎🚐.
Hi Bruce & Linda many thanks for your comment. Yes we agree Bunree is beautiful. It was fab being able to get the Corran Ferry over and have a couple of drinks at Ardgour Ales and we were very lucky with the weather. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Susan & Richard many thanks for commenting on our video it’s very much appreciated. We hope you enjoy our channel. We hope you enjoy your trip to Scotland. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Karen and Irvine fabulous video not aware of the location despite being a Scot although not lived in the homeland for nearly 5 decades. I agree that Loch Lomond side is a very underrated part of Scotland yet so accessible. I remember when it was very difficult at times for a car and a caravan to pass in the 1960's early 70's before the road improvements were made. I can see why Bunree is such a popular spot. kind Regards Crawford
Hi Crawford thanks very much for your kind comment and we’re glad that you enjoyed our video. The Loch Lomondside road has improved a bit since the 60s/70s but there are still quite a few tight sections when you have a large van like Nessie. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@@motorroamingaround Yes Irvine and Karen. Over the last 10 years or so when we lived in Devon we did a few bus tours around Loch Lomond and enjoyed stopping at Inveruglas and there are still a few tight spots. We have since moved and are now 150mtrs from the sea on the South Coast of England
Thanks for your comment Alex. Yeah we’ve been wanting to go to this site for years but just hadn’t got round to it. It was beautiful and as you say we had fabulous weather which makes all the difference. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
We got the Corran ferry to Strontian ( think that's how you spell it) and we saw the camp site you stayed on. We have now marked it as definitely want to go there. Like how you can go as foot passengers and stop at a brewery! We look forward to your trip to California. We are planning to ship.our van over for a year to USA 🇺🇸. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for commenting Anna. It's much appreciated. Yes we've been to Resipole Campsite in Strontian and it was also very nice. Your trip to USA sounds fab. Keep safe both. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Steve many thanks for your kind comment. We were very lucky with the weather which does make for producing much better quality videos for sure. Being able to get the drone up for example does take the videos to a different dimension. Thanks again for your kind comment. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Rumours has it, that they have trained the cows on the entrance lane to bunree to only walk through on green ? In the summer Bunree camp site is midge central, they have been genitacally altered to only bite Sassenachs.
Ah thank you for your very kind comment Lorna we’re glad you enjoyed it. Bunree in the sunshine is such a beautiful place indeed. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Peeps, just found your video, fantastic camera work , but with regards to the sound, sometimes less is better. I personally prefer the natural sounds, wind , traffic etc. rather than music, but hey ho , each to their own . liked and subscribed 😀
Hi Jim many thanks for your comment and we’re glad you enjoyed the video and have subscribed to our channel. We do normally try to have a bit of music and some natural sounds but in this video we had a bit of a disaster. After getting back to the van from the waterfall I had to change the battery on my GoPro and for some reason the “record sound” option defaulted to off so it wasn’t until I was editing the footage on my computer that I realised that all of the footage taken on the ferry and over to Ardgour Ales had no sound. I therefore had to scrap a lot of the footage especially of us talking directly into the camera etc. Rather than scrap all of the footage I tried my best to use some of it and add a voice over which I agree isn’t the best but on this occasion we decided it would be better than scraping the footage altogether as we had captured some beautiful views etc. Thanks again for your comment and for subscribing. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
@@dennislowe7316 Hi Dennis I did film the motorhomes with my drone but do you think there’s a problem with them being there? Not sure what you mean….sorry.
Your lucky you got away with flying your drone..when we were there we were told to bring ours down as it was against the law lol…not against the law but the caravan and motorhome club sites don’t allow it seemingly..nothing to say that in booking etc tho ..great footage ..love ur motorhome
Thanks for your kind comment Debbie, it’s very much appreciated. I never knew that they had a no drone policy but what these organisations don’t realise is that if any of us fellow drone operators take our drone off site and fly it back over there is absolutely nothing they can do about it as it’s the CAA that control the airspace so therefore it would be perfectly legal to do that. Happy flying with your drone and keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Exactly..they dont own the air space...said to us it was for the privacy of other visitors...we can see right in their skylights with a drone!!!...hahaha..its mad
